I travel down to OK every two weeks for work, each time I try to fish the river. Nothing but skunks yet for me. Looks like heading up stream away from the easy access is where the monsters live. Your videos give me hope!
How do you remain so calm? With those giants I'd be whooping and hollering and falling into the water. Also I couldn't handle more than 2 rods. Amazing trip, one to remember. Congratulations on the epic fun.
Hey, does anyone know where i can buy hipwaders with felt and cleated? I've looked everywhere, and i can only find either cleated hipwaders or felt. Not the 2 combined. 🤔
Nice fish brotha. Have a little bit of urgency to get to them fish though. It would result in less hang uos & snags. When it’s that crazy I go with 2 rigs, it’s just not fair to the fish, the chances of it being a clean catch without injuring the fish with that man poles going off st once. I understand you want to maximize your catch’s for the video but you’d risk a lot less snags, hang up’s & missed fish.
That's all I ever use is 3 rods. I'll throw 1 line out using a dropshot or santee rig or bottom bumper rig. I'll set 1 in a rod holder with santee rig, or dropshot or bottom bumper in the rod holder with a bell and fish with the other 1 a good distance so I don't cross lines. Then my 3rd rod will be aside unused that way if rod I fish with doesn't work I'll use the 3rd rod. After 10 no bites I'll move. I'll Stay 15 minutes if I do get bit. 20 tops. 😊
