Also, use range cubes to catch carp to chunk for catfish.

In SC people love catching red fish, which is basically a drum, but most people in the Midwest don’t eat or like to catch drum. I wonder what the difference is. Reds fight like crazy.
    Thanks for the video.

Some drum taste better than others, not sure why but we found that from different areas, there is a difference. Yep, the take off hard and if you aren't ready, you can lose a pole. I think in the smaller rivers, the drum eat a lot of crayfish, but in bigger rivers and below dams, they eat a lot of shad.

I've wondered the same when I lived on the Gulf for a while.

Thanks for watching! I've heard they're good. They do look the same as a Red except in color. Pretty interesting.

One winter I killed the big white bass. Everyone was using shad colored Shad Raps but I was the only one catching them. I was using a suspending Shad Rap and they were hammering it when I paused. Nobody could figure why I was killing them LOL. I would have told them except they were jerks. Drum, channel cat and white bass equals fun in my book. Hope to see more of you soon Austin

Nice little change of pace. I don't believe I've ever tried a lure in an Oklahoma river that's red. Looked like a blast.

Thanks for watching Brad! Yeah occasionally I can do well lure fishing in stained water usually a curly tail or some small swim bait- something that produces good vibrations in the murky water.

I give thumbs up every video before it starts because all your videos are epic, brother. Especially when you spend a week survival mode fishing, I would love to be able to do that. 😊❤ As I stated before you will have a million plus subscribers. Maybe one day good people will sponsor catfishing and have a catfish classic and elite series. Then see you fishing in the classic and elite series of catfishing series 😊
