I use prep sprays before cleaning windshield glass because sometimes oils from the dashboard or rainX get on the glass so they need a little somethin extra.

I just started working at a detailing place like two weeks ago. Never detailed before. Ive noticed he doesnt have ne polish or use a buffer yet. I put a hand wax job on, let it sit for 10-15 minutes and remove it by hand with a dry towel. Is that okay to do or should i start asking to be trained on polishing with a buffer?

Polishing and waxing are 2 completely different things.

@@WhoisU_45 You can polish by hand but 1.They won't be even passes. 2.It'll take about 8 -10 hours (and be sore for days) or get a buffer for about $200 or less and do it in about 2-3 hours.

Try Phoenix EOD Hydra Rinseless Wash. Put 16oz. of distilled water in a clean spray bottle, then add one capful of Hydra and mix. A perfect glass cleaner. Make sure you use a glass specific towel to clean, then a low nap towel for the second/final wipe. It works
