This is my first Thanksgiving without my baby of 12 years. It's been something like 8 months since she passed and I still can't go a day without thinking of her, and I can't think of her without crying. I am SO thankful for my time with her.

I'm catless at the moment, but when I do re-up, I'm gonna get a rescue cat! The last time I went to get a pound-cat, his name was Fallon, and all of his friends & family were saying goodbye to him. So, i walked out of death-row with like six cat's, and successfully rehomed them. Fallon passed of worms, and I feel like a loser for not affording a vet check-up, but at least he was a free man when he passed! Thank you all for loving cats!

I’ve been there. Grieve as you need to and know that you will one day be able to think about your kitty without tears.
One of my cats got me through 35 radiation treatments in 2019 and then in 2020, she helped me recover from 2 heart attacks. Don't know where I would have neen without her. The unconditional love of all 3 cats blesses me every day.
You know i remember a story some homeless guy spent everything on his cat and didnt care what happened to him. The guy even went out of his way to get quality cat food and some shelter
My kitten is the reason I'm still here. I was very depressed and this little kitten (vet said maybe 6 weeks) walked through my front door when I opened it. He was in poor health then but 3 months later is doing fantastic. His name is Gjof, which is Old Norse for "gift". He truly was and is a gift.
Not a day goes by since welcoming two random strays into our home over the last year has there not been more laughter and comfort. Today we put up the Christmas tree and the boys ABSOLUTELY had to help and I could not stop giggling over their interactions with it and each other during the process. My mother is sending them a new cat tree for Christmas and I can't wait to put it together with them and see them explore it. They cuddle with us, they amuse us with their burst of energy, keep on something of a schedule with feeding them. . . they are NOT aloof and withdrawn or uncaring. These two lads are always nearby and always wanting to be a part of things.

I love and adore my cats, and I still feel that way to this day for those who have died. I fell swelled up, swollen and overflowing with love and softness, like I'm glowing inside, when I see my cats, think of my cats, and touch and hold them. That feeling is the best feeling to have. I love talking to my cats, having eye contact with them. I never feel particularly lonely if I'm in the house with them and no other people are around. The cats are family to me. I love to nap with them, and I expect one of them to be on the bed when it's time for me to go to bed, and I love that. My cats are very special best friends and I love the way they make me feel, the feelings I get to experience because I love them are so positive and I think healing. I deeply appreciate having their presence in my life.
In all the things we are grateful for in life, I for one am grateful for you and your efforts to inform and educate. If we don't learn something from one of your videos, we sometimes learn something from each other in comments. So thank you for what you have created here.
My 1st cat Alex was my support cat and i was able to register him. 20 years ago. Here in Cheyenne, it got me kicked out of my apartment. Very few tenant rights here. We found our home , he was my everything. He passed at 8 years old ,one night he just did not wake. I cried so hard I thought my stomach was hoing to explode. It was so unexpected 😢.
I am so sorry to hear that. No matter how long has passed since losing a pet, it still hurts so much doesn't it.
On a better note! I now have 3 cats. 2 female tuxedo sisters, nearly identical markings ( Miah & Lilly) and Sunny, my 8 month old male.
They DO make me stop from running around too much and chill for a min.
My male cat, Sunny, will literally lay on neck, won't move, Until I'm done.
I've always been an animal person. From snakes and tarantulas and water dragons to cats and dogs. And now that I'm older I feel like cats are the best animal. I know my cat saved my life and got me through some pretty bad PTSD. She's the sweetest little critter and I don't think I could love anything or anyone more than I love my kitty.
Oh, the speaker around the 7:50 mark is a MOOD. I completely understand what they were talking about. Cats have my whole heart, too. And it definitely seems like time just slows down for a while when one of them settles down on or near me wanting attention. The cat has my whole attention and you just feel the love. One of my cats in particular likes settling down on my arm if I'm laying on my back and will start purring up a storm and just wants pets. Occasionally she'll even stretch out her neck to touch her nose with mine. Those moments help keep my blood pressure low, that's for sure. Life would seem so... empty without cats.

My cat teaches me to follow a routine and gets me up out of my chair on a regular basis to let her in and out as we ALL know they can't stand closed doors!

I love your channel. I have a 13-year-old Red Point Siamese named Vesta that I rescued 7 years ago and she is my best friend. She loves to go for rides and for walks. We sit under the shade tree in the backyard in the summer and enjoy the outdoors while i play my guitar. My life is so much better since i have her in my life. I couldn't imagine a world without animals.

Every cat is unique, and we are unique, too. I have had a several different 🐈 😻 🐈⬛️. They have all made me a better person, loving, caring, and thoughtful ❤️ 🐈⬛️. They are amazing 👏, and so helpful by being my your side, from feelings, to health. I am fighting sickness now, and my dear kitty, Rici, has been all over me ❤🐈⬛️😻. Thank God for cats 🐈 😻 🐈⬛️ 🙏 ❤️ and all creatures ❤️

Like I said my cat Nicks wake me up with kisses, and my cat Cannoli pets me instead of the vice versa, it's the cutest thing, she's trying to be like me :P. I didn't think I would get cats, but nobody adopted them for four weeks and their adoption fee was covered...so I just took them! Now I can see that they were my kitties from the start, they just needed me to see it by refusing to be adopted by anyone else. I love my fur babies and am a very happy meowmy. They really are just like zoned out cat and his friend in the meme lol. That meme got big right when they got adopted. That's how much I love my dancing cutie kitty cats.
My cat, Polly, passed away recently, but she was amazing. I have a rare medical condition that can cause my blood sugar levels to suddenly drop dramatically, and she was very good at spotting when my levels were dropping and alert me to it. She'd even wake me up if it happened in the night! She'd also alert me if my medical equipment stopped working properly. I don't know how she knew how to do these things but she did. She was also very good at comforting me when I was feeling ill or in pain. Before she passed she taught some of these things to my remaining cat, Hammy

Thank you Malory for your dedication, kindness and creativity in everything you bring to us. Following you for a while now. Always I do refer to your episodes for guidance. Had a Siamese cat Mercedes Chanel for 19 1/2 years and had to help her wt medications and ingenuity to make her last year great. Now I’ve got a Tonkinese cat already 1 year old that keeps me on my toes yet very entertaining. Her name is Bentley Dior. Thank you for helping me raise this energetic little kitten.
