Wow, absolutely love this clip. Nice to have early interviews of Gerald, Mike P and Frankie captured for posterity. I find it frustrating that the Northern scene is being celebrated here but down South the house music scene was persecuted by the tabloids to the point where London clubs mostly operated 'underground'. Club promoters here often banned filming and photography for fear of repercussions, meaning that hardly any recordings of this era exist except in the fading memory of the party goers 🙁
I loved this programme as a kid! Been watching lots of these old videos and remember individual episodes fondly.
