Follow the rise of R&B group TLC from it's Atlanta inception to recording studios, the Grammy Awards, and the days following the tragic death of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. Starring Drew Sidora as Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Keke Palmer as Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas, and LIl Mama as Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes.

The casting department did a good job with this film. It was so spot on!! they really do look like them.
William Fuller I think the woman from Empire they call Giselle would’ve made a better choice to play Pebbles.

Lil Mama still gives me chills, when watching this in 2022. Also, Lifetime can learn a lot from VH1 😂. I was so upset about Aaliyah's movie 🤦🏽. Hopefully a better one can be made in the future 🙏🏽

With the black contacts and make-up lightening Lil Mama's skin she was able to pass for Left Eye the whole damn movie but besides that she nails her voice and mannerisms down.
It was so crazy how much she resembled her. Even the remaining members said it was scary sometimes to look at her.

I didn't realise TLC had a film out (live in the UK). Finally got to see it the other day. I have watched it 3 times over already. I was a fan of TLC when they came out in the 90's but the film made me have a greater appreciation for the group. Seeing all the drama that went on behind scenes. Whilst they were making the best music ever. - It inspirational and its a reminder that we all go through sh*t in life don't let it stop you from reaching your full potential. I think this should of gone to the big screen! Great casting, great production, loved the studio scenes they seemed so realistic like real video footage. There are scenes that tug at the heart strings and some that had me rolling over laughing. Watching this movie teleported me back to the 90's. Anyone that hasn't had a chance to watch it, buy it lol

honestly this was the best movie ever. The girls all played the parts so incredibly well like it was really TLC.

What a great film this was. I was so impressed with all three of the actresses, especially Lil Mama as Lisa. Her performance was so spot on that I feel like Lisa's spirit was inside her the whole time.
How come the aaliyah movie couldn't be something like this

And can we give props to the opening credits for this movie? I LOVED IT..it was so nostalgic with the classic images and old school tlc music..I literally felt like I was getting ready to watch an old movie from the 90s :)

Man, I wish there was a Destiny's Child movie, It would've been called "The Destiny's Child Story" It'll be about what Beyonce, Kelly, Michelle, Latoya, LaTavia, and Farrah been through during their career of singing, how did they become singers, how did they form into a singing group, why did Latoya and LaTavia get kicked out of the group and what caused the situation between them, how did Michelle get introduced to Destiny's Child, how did Farrah get kicked out of the group, how did they determine to make great music from their albums, and how did Beyonce, Kelly, and Michelle consider having a solo career by making their own music from their albums then decided to get back together as a group to do another album, so on my opinion I think " The Destiny's Child Story" would've been great movie to watch on BET, VH1, MTV, or Lifetime especially for all the Destiny's Child fans who loves Destiny's Child, I also think that Beyonce, Kelly, or Michelle would've been the narrators of the movie to explain how it all began with Destiny's Child from their childhood to an adulthood because it's their story

I was just watching a clip of their interview they did with the Huffington Post, and they said they were so broke they had to borrow 15,000 a piece from Andre Rison so they could file for bankruptcy. So I'm going to need Pebbles to have a stadium full of seats somewhere with her sue happy ass.
man this movie was so good one of the best biographies so far all the actresses played each member so good on the world premiere night it was shown it had 4.5 million viewers this movie should've been in theatres I know left eye was smiling down to every single person watching this film RIP LEFT EYE WE MISS YOU AND WE LOVE YOU!!!
lil mama's cheekbones are too sunkin in and her eyes are too popped to be a convincing left eye. Left eye had a baby face lol
But the way she played the roll was great and that's all that matters

The ONLY thing I wish is that Keke Palmer could've adjusted her voice to sound more like Chilli's. If you notice Chilli has a more nasal and laid-back voice, but Keke's is high pitched and scratchy...I noticed Drew and Lil Mama changed their voices, but Keke sounds like herself...Oh well... I'm sure she still does great in the movie. So excited and stoked for tonight!

I got chills on the scene with left eye at the waterfalls
when they use the term ICONIC, this is what comes to mind. the true embodiment. from the start they were super fly, different, socially concious, attractive and totally wrapped within the 90s zietgeist. they were a product of the post 80s AIDS era...the mid 90s MDMA influenced style of dressing.... the girl power references and motifs. and what was also really tight is that there was NO...definitive lead. they werent even paticularly strong singers..it was, however, when all three came together, there was MAGIC! but it was VRRY VERY contingent on all three being there. while Lisas raps werent an integral part of every track, if it werent a bonfide hit, Lisas raps could take it to the next level...fanmail actually had a few songs without Lisa and those happened to be some of the weak points. however in crazySexyCool, when they were all in sync, it was something insanely magical.
This trailer got me tearing up I cant wait for the movie

I so can't wait! This trailer had me teary eyed. They all look like thry will do a good job and since lefteye is no longer here to tell her story I'm pretty sure tboz ans chilli will give us a great movie! Kudos to everyone in the movie and I'm glad their story is being told. Love tlc!

That relationship was so short they really didn't even date and it truly had no effect on them as a group unlike her relationship with Andre, so I get why they would leave it out he died not to long after he even met her.

I watched this movie twice last night, that's how freaking good it was. I swear this movie took me back to childhood, it was so fulfilling see the story of my favorite girl group on TV. Not to mention Drew Sidora, Keke Palmer, and Lil Mama all KILLED their roles as T-Boz, Chilli & Left Eye respectfully. I was such a proud dude last night! #90smemories

i loved this movie i watched it last night and it was awesome. Lil' Mama did good as left eye same as Keke when she was Chilli and Drew Sidora as T-Boz
For a TV movie I must say I was impressed....
I actually think they should have made this a major feature.. it's that good. Given a better budget it would be a very nice bio pic for TLC

This movie was super dope. I know everyone is excluding Lil Mama for playing the role of Left-Eye and didn't think she could pull it off (I didn't think she could either) but I was wrong the only thing I had trouble with was the voice because Mama is from Harlem and Lisa was from Philly so their draws are different.
