- This time I’m trying Remo Pinstripes on bassdrum 18 inch and toms 10 and 13”.
On snare I have Remo controlled sound, 12 inch.
Thanks for listening and feel free to leave comments!
Excellent work dude!
Sounds great, Especially that kick. Really punchy for such a small kick.
NIce.
...It's like a jungle sometimes
It makes me wonder how I keep from goin' under
Broken glass everywhere
Nice groove man
I have watched all your videos. This bass head and tuning is my favorite for the bass. But the fiberskins are my favorite for the other drums, i will keep checking for new posts. Did you ever try Evans EMAD on the bass? Several of us pancake owners tried it but it did not fit. I do not know why other 18 inch heads fit but that one does not.
Thanks for listening and responding! I’ve not try the Emad. Maybe I should do that in the future.
It sounds warmer than the original Tama according to me. Is it advisable to switch?
@@armanddef238 Do you mean the original heads? I always switch to other heads. Especially cheaper drums are not that great heads from the factory. See my other videos, there you can compare how they can sound and appear.
nice grooves man, what beater are you using? looks like a little mallet
Thnx! It’s a Danmar beater in wood.
What’s your favourite heads so far? I just ordered mine and wonder if I should go single or double ply heads.
I should say that it depends what kind of genres you play.
Generally for rock/metal where you’re smashing tf outta the drums go with double plies or even hydraulics. Most other genres you should go with singles.
