I’ve got a an early blues and swing performance coming up in two weeks for a Southern Acoustics Entertainment Centre Australia WA. I regularly do a wet curl & set and was looking for a decent tutorial on a marcel wave. Gotta be on point. I love, live & wear 30s 40s & 50s 😉🤓

Do you have a video on how to cut the haircut on the mannequin? Vintage styles dont work well without a vintage cut, but I currently have a modern cut
Sorry Mister Dashington Snide, I thought it was Smythe until just now. I think I need a wee bit more practice and better clips before attempting this. I once got hold of a bag of metal clips from the 20's or 30s but I think my hairdresser friend made off with them, they were very much like the toothed ones you had here but were called "Marcell wavers".
