That's because they dont come from a rational place, but from and emotional place which is the root of their ideology (empathy for the animals). So after the ideology is incorporated as part of their identity, any questioning of their ideology is perceived (on a subconscious level) as an existential threat. It's kind of a mental disease from which they cant break away, unless they suffer an even greater trauma, some of physical nature, like a physical disease caused by the diet, which will then on some cases make them review their stance. I know tons of ex vegan ex carnivore/keto, returned vegans I know many ex paleo or keto all their life, turned raw vegan thriving. You can find really sick ppl in every diet, but a whole food plantbased high or exclusively raw vegan diet is the only diet that is best for our species, longterm, as it's our species-specific diet
At the end of the day, this young couple's feelings are hurt because others eat meat. My health is more important than their feelings. It would be interesting to hear what their opinions are in 20 years.

I agree. Another thing that ruins her credibility is completely disregarding that massive amounts of the population cannot be vegan. When she says it's ok for people to not feel optimal, it us obvious that she us not one of those people who absolutely must eat meat. Sub optimal translates to , mental problems, massive fatigue, bone degradation, wasting etc. These people are selfish and they have tunnel vision. They also have only been vegans for 7 years and are relatively young. Time will tell.
I have been a 100% Carnivore for almost a year already. For about two years prior to starting carnivore, I wasn't necessarily keto but I was eating a mixed diet that included a bunch of red meat, chicken, and somewhere between 6-10 fruits and vegetables a day (mostly fruit). Raw honey and grains were only eaten sometimes. Ever since I eliminated all plant foods (aka fake foods) from my diet, I have never felt better and stronger in my life.
Mate, these two if you don’t agree in the method of their lifestyle, they want everyone to turn vegan and if you disagree they will jump down your throat they’re not very good vegans they don’t like to listen
Great debate. I'm so grateful for people like Anthony Chaffee, who are really helping people reclaim their health and not afraid to speak up and take part in these kind of debates where he is obviously just going to get the same rhetoric 'no different from eating a human'. I am carnivore, I feel healthier in my 40's than I ever did in my youth. I suffered metabolic disease all my life, which is now gone. I could write a whole page of ailments I no longer have, meat heals. If I eat vegetables, I feel terrible. I don't think a lot of people realise what healthy feels like, as they are so used to being sick. Hopefully people like Chaffee will help the youth of today so they dont suffer like my generation and my parents generation have. Eating our species appropriate diet, or the proper human diet as Dr Berry describes it, will end a lot of our diseases and suffering, thats ethical. Would be interesting to bring back the same vegans in 5 yrs to see if they are still thriving,
8 years of exteme depression and suicidal thoughts gone within 8 days of carnivore. Meanwhile, I see a bunch of vegans plagued with depression and taking antidepression meds. I'll stick with the proper human diet thank you very much.
How do you explain meat eaters with mental health issues as well cus I was suicidal myself when I was a meat eater back then 🤷🏻♂️ depression can’t be cured by a simple diet fix you can still be eating the healthiest foods and still have depression because it could be related to emotional trauma
BRAVO Dr Chaffee staying so calm and focused being constantly interrupted by that emotional student!!! The vegans are basically just emotional, trying to constantly use the same guilttripping question, and not willing to listen to the answers. And when it got real, with the question about getting his blood tested about his health, he actually said he didn't care about health, and immediately turned back to the same question about their ethical propaganda....
Do these vegans realise that millions of deaths have occurred to survive the two of them during this session alone? There's no life without death. How difficult is it to understand this interdependent factor? FMD.
why cause the most death tho veganism is about reducing animal suffering and abuse just because death happens dosnt mean we should cause the most death, saying theres no life without death is something a serial killer would say are u sure your ok mate?
When you assign words like rape and murder to processes involved in farming animals, it appeals to our morality. When we know logically meat and animal product is our species specific diet. The medium between the two is practicing organic free range sustainable farming that includes quality of life for the animal. Additionally, the problem is, vegans are putting human values on animals. Humans, cows and pigs are different. We have a different diet requirement.
I had the great privilege to help a farming friend of mine dispatch (that is, kill) two of his ducks to feed to his family. I was the one to wield the hatchet, said a prayer, and then did the deed. It was a profoundly sobering experience and i was filled with so much gratitude to the animal and to God to have been so viscerally active in the cycle of life and death. By the way, I've been mostly vegetarian for 20 years, and at one time a vegan, now carnivore after learning how this way of eating could heal my many health problems which I attribute to the decades eating vegetables. I know for a fact those two ducks lived wonderful lives and died in service to a sweet young family. There is no better life for a farm animal. Just give thanks for their sacrifice, that's all.
I've been carnivore for a year now and it's cured my IBS, chronic migraines and depression. I used to believe the likes of Dr Chaffee, Ken Berry and Shaun Baker but thats all changed.... listening to these to two clueless vegans who can't answer a basic question addressing one of their blanket statements has inspired me to become a leaf muncher.
Basic Logic.. we were carnivores from the beginning.... because we ate a superior diet and evolved to get to the top of the food chain,, and can build cities and machinery , we are suppossed to eat rabbit food now ? eat a less than optimal diet where we need to supplement ? not to mention walk around with liliy white skin ? 69 years old ..carnivore for 1 year now . lost 22lbs .. no high blood pressure. no insulin resitance, mind now sharp as a tack and for the 1st time in 40 years I have six pack abs !

Sooo yea
Listen, if anyone can justify what these animals go through to only be brutally murdered in the worst conditions just so we can eat their bodies is truly messed up. Just to clarify, I'm not vegan, I don't eat meat but occasionally consume eggs. I also regularly buy chicken as I have dogs and they're obviously a different species, so I do believe in feeding them what they need which includes meat. Another good point I'll make is that I used to get hives and other type of allergies and it all went away when i stopped eating meat
Regarding the crop death, Pesticides are used to protect your crops from insects, the same way you would protect yourself from someone that wants to harm you, or if someone enters your house threatening your family, you gotta to do what you gotta do. In this case, the insects are the ones that are threatening your crops so you are forced to do something about otherwise you starve.
@@Nature-s7gI'm curious how you feel about the crop deaths of unnecessary food still considered vegan. Like coffee for example. Humans don't need coffee to survive and yet is vegan. How do you justify crop deaths on coffee plantations? Not having a dig. Just curious 😊

Why focusing on the 0,1% and sweeping the other 99,9% under the carpet just to suit your ideology? It's not torture and abuse, as this would be detrimental to the animal's health and impact the farmer's bottom line. Idaho farm girl here. I have sat in the cab of a tractor and so many animals die when plowing up a field. Rabbits, snakes, wood chucks, mice, frogs, insects just to name a few. Then again when it is harvested. To say no animals die for a vegan diet is false. Either way animals suffer and die so we can eat. I have celiac disease and so many grains are untouchable for me. My father is currently dying a slow painful death from colon cancer caused by untreated celiac that progressed to cancer and while following the whole grain diet. We are not all the same and I personally have healed many issues on a keto diet.

@troykite3838 Yeah, they were sad to hear... so sad that all they could do was try to manipulate the emotional ideology based on their decisions of what may or may not be "moral"......
@@cattywampusmcdoogle the vegans are there for the animals, the carnivores are there for themselves. The thing is that most meat eaters will contradict their morals, because humans are generally compassionate beings. Hence all the deflection
@troykite3838 The only thing the vegans were correct on when it came to animals (which are food) was the incorrect way the slaughter houses and/or feed lots conduct commercial business. Morals by whose standards? The animals murdering vegans don't get to set their morals as standard for the rest of us... especially if they are going to call us mammals, then they need to accept that carnivores are gonna do what mammals do and that's eat other animals.....
veganism is an ethical position. if you valued animals a lot like vegans and there were death camps all around you, and you were powerless to do anything about it, you'd get a little crazy as well.
As a hardcore carnivore I understand the empathy regarding animals being killed for food, but what we need to accept is that that's the world we live in and we are designed to eat meat, not plants and especially not processed foods! If the animal is pasture raised, fed naturally, like grass fed, and the animal is well cared for and killed humanely, then I support it by buying my meat from my local farmer who's animals I've seen when they are alive. I admit, I have bought meat that was from the store and not locally raised, which I'm not proud of, but hopefully in the future the factory farming will improve! Either way, we evolved on meat and we thrive far more on a meat based diet, than a plant based diet. So ask yourself what's better for humans ultimately? If you want to be a vegan, go ahead, I'm not going to care, but don't tell me that being a carnivore is wrong because it's unethical in your opinion. I too want a better world, so we can agree on that at least. I also want to be as healthiest as I can be, so being a strict carnivore has made that possible!❤
PLEASE just get Jordan Peterson on here and get some decent moral theology into this debate. Dr. C is arguing strictly from a health point of view and the vegans are trying to pull the morality card. Bring on a carnivore who has some moral theology acuity.
@christinaperez254 Brilliant suggestion! Yes Jordan Peterson is perfect person to explain to these two young vegans how to their thinking is understandable because their knowledge or interpretation of it is COMPLETELY flawed!
The health and anthropological perspective is perhaps the ultimate moral authority, tbh. If it is natural and optimal for us to eat animals, it is morally imperative that we do so, and in a way that stewards our food sources as veneratively as possible.
@@TehKarmalizer i agree. The problem is that these vegans place humans and animals as equal in natural value, but different in intelligence and moral superiority. We are better enough to know we shouldn't kill other animals....is what they argue.... because we all have the right to life.

I run 20k faster than I did when I was in my early twenties. I haven't been to the doctor in over 10 years. People who are vegan develop ailments same as meat eaters. How do we conclude that it was the diet that directly caused the ailment?
First of all, what is a carnivore? Do you only eat meat? I would be very worried to go near a person who is a Carnivore. This is just not the right word to describe human diet, to begin with, as we are omnivores, opportunistic omnivores. I am very sad to hear about your story, and my best wishes for your health, I doubt that this is because of vegan diet. If this was true, then my entire family would have diseases like you mentioned because all our 3 generations consist of vegetarians and Vegans. I have lots of friends coming from Jainism which is a similar diet, and have had a long Indian history before even "veganism" word was suggested. Many Indian diets have been Vegan by default. Unlike West, it is not a challenge for many to be vegetarian in India as we were grown up that way, and we have never seemed to have any problems.

One thing I'm really surprised didn't get brought up is that lions and wolves don't feel bad when they kill animals to feed themselves, because that's what they were designed to do, so if animal meat is the optimal source of food for us as well, why should we feel bad?
As someone with Crohn’s who has only been able to reverse symptoms with a meat-based diet I love to hear Dr Chafee break down his argument in a logical and rational manner. Hopefully, more ppl who are suffering can hear his message.
They are a couple I think. Besides, bad argument to distract yourself from being real with yourself. You are what you eat. You eat unconscious (dead) victims. As within so without. Hermetic laws. Metaphysics. Science.
The animal kingdom does not consent to being "food" to humans. There is no sacred contract to justify to kill an animal for food as a human. Your life does not work out? You experience being a victim to "outer circumstances"? You don't understand the Hermetic laws and influence of what you are doing. You are not supported by the frequencies around you cause you don't support them. Humans are supposed to protect animals. Killed animals are not the foundation I'd build myself on. Pork is DEAD LUCK. You eat pork you'll experience dead luck. Simple. Look deeper.

I see everyone as fellow humans and with fight to the death for free will and because of that I would never tell them what to eat or wish them harm and expect the same. . I have seen some vegans thrive but ultimately have some issues and others go down hill fast. I will always extend an olive branch and see if I can help. Ethics are important but if you sure not optimal and healthy you cannot have a positive impact on the world. For humans to exist animals have to die. For them both to be on this show animals have died. Us being here results in animals and insects and even other humans dying. We should all be conscious of that. It's the hate in their eyes towards the carnivores. So unhealthy. Hatred poisons the hater. We are falling for divide and conquer tactics all the time. I thrive on carnivore. I'll never eat vegetables again. After a lifetime of insomnia, body aches and IBS, and later in life, restless legs and arthritis pain through the roof, four years ago, I went carnivore, all those issues stopped and my lifetime depression disappeared.
Vegan is just a starvation fast, yet full of phytotoxins. Plants don’t digest in human stomach acid, but when consumed with animal foods that do, they interfere with the digestion and bioavailability of those animal foods. Plant foods are required to ferment in the gut before they can be evacuated from the body. Plant foods fermenting in the gut provide only 6-9% of the body’s total nutritional requirements - too late in the digestive tract to absorb any suitable nutrition. Animal foods are the only foods the human body needs for optimal nutrition .
@SocialWriting Yeah, I eliminated grains and vegetables. And I've got several friends that saw my improvements and are now on it and thriving and pain free. What's your point?
Me too, no inflamtion anymore on my gum and doctors couldnt help me. It really was just by coincidence because I wanted to lose weight / cut for spring/summer and if I cut I usually ate Keto but then came across Carnivore and gave it a shot and then noticed my inflamation/pain was gone.

It’s not an ethical issue, because humans and animals are not equal. We should treat the animals well, don’t get me wrong, but we need to eat meat to stay healthy.
If someone not same as u therefor wi can enslave and kill them? What’s the morally relevant difference between animals and humans which makes it ok to fame one but not the other
Why does it matter to you if animals are treated well? In the United States 99% of animals are on factory farms. They live in their filth, suffer from disease and die on their faces, and the other ones are sent to slaughter to be brutally killed. It’s marginalized groups killing them suffering things like PTSD drug alcohol abuse rise crime rates, workplace injuries . Contracting disease and pathogens.. if you don’t think children being trafficked to work in slaughter factories is an ethical issue then I’m not sure what you would define as ethical
Maybe we should start with the Websters definition of 'murder': 'the crime of unlawfully and unjustifiably killing a person'. The we can move to the Webster's definition of 'holocaust': 'a mass slaughter of people'. Then we should learn how to be respectful and how to not interrupt the person who is answering the question that you asked. I am also not very sure what the young lady was even doing there other than to interject 'you didn't answer the question'. The way the vegans consistently referred to cannibalism every time they were caught off guard by valid points says a lot about them. I wish them the best on their journey, and I respect how they choose to eat, but I do not appreciate how disrespectful they were when others were trying to answer a question they asked. Even worse, the way Jack addressed Dr. Chaffee as just 'Chaffee' was disrespectful and rude. Jack's body language when Dr. Chaffee was speaking was very apathetic and dismissive, arms crossed, picking his nails, etc. I sincerely appreciate the hosts of the show who were very respectful to both sides!! @hamstarist

Everybody loves to cherry-pick definitions and ignore the ones that undeniably apply to slicing an animals throat open for something as trivial as a sandwich filling. Murder is often defined as "brutal killing" "unjustified killing" "inhuman or barbarous killing" which you can find in several dictionaries websites within the first page of google search results. Holocaust (when used in the general sense and not referring to a specific holocaust like what happened in ww2) is simply defined as "destruction or slaughter on a mass scale". The slaughtering of trillions of sentient beings annually obviously not only meets the criteria for a holocaust, but easily stands as the largest and longest lasting holocaust in history. There have only been about 120 billion humans to have ever existed, yet we murder that many non-human animals in a matter of a few weeks.

Was expecting Vegan Gains to burst through the door at any minute and claim that we can all survive on only potatoes.

How to justify breading and killing animals for food? The same way they justify planting and killing plants for food. Something has to die for you to eat. There is no way around it.
There is a way around it, eqt flowers and leaves, technically maybe you could live off those, flowere = broc cauliflower capers artochoke figs chamomile dandelions pineapple i think is a flower, friuts also can be eaten without killing animals avocado olives etc are all friuts, i cant eat most of theae cause i have histamine intolerance so have to go carnivore to heal in order to go flower based hmm
@@SciSciToys Also milk and honey. Wouldn't you agree?
Yep... it's unfortunate, we live in a predacious universe and everything is consciousness, as consciousness is fundamental. And even if you are a realist, they've proven scientifically that plants have sentience and call out, react, etc to threats. 🤷♀️ there is just no way around it all...
One thing I'm really surprised didn't get brought up is that lions and wolves don't feel bad when they kill animals to feed themselves, because that's what they were designed to do, so if animal meat is the optimal source of food for us as well, why should we feel bad?
Just noticed I'm only halfway through, so hey maybe it is said, but I don't think I can get through the whole thing. Vegans are exhausting
The carnivores have it 👊
Because the vegans never presented an actual argument - just emotion and feelings.
Ha! Yeah right!
As someone with Crohn’s who has only been able to reverse symptoms with a meat-based diet I love to hear Dr Chafee break down his argument in a logical and rational manner. Hopefully, more ppl who are suffering can hear his message.
I wish Bart Kay was sitting in the carnivore corner, now that would have been fun.
It would've been a "slaughter" !
Would have been a bloodbath.
Hahahahaha that would have be hilarious
Oh I wish too hahaha
100% Bart would have torn holes in the studies referenced
I guess no one wants to take Bart on because he would just shut them down too hard.
Enslaved... My horses live on a few acres. Thery get locked up at night. Vets. Farriers. Fed and watered. I didnt realise i was enslaving them.
Do you send them to slaughter?
Sounds like you are their slave...lol😂. Thats awesome
I have two cats who apparently are slaves.
I just told my dog he is a slave while lying on his bed in front of the fire. He said being a slave is a pretty good gig.
This is a conversation for adults. Who let the children in?
If a plant based diet were so healthy it wouldnt cause tooth decay and gum disease, etc. a healthy diet shouldn't require a tooth brush.
Just the fact the vegans are wearing matching shirts.... I won't become a vegan
I noticed that, too. Virtue signaling at its best. It’s very cult-like.
😂😂😂
@@spirulina3924 So I should eat dead plants to turn into a plant?
Thank you dr. Anthony Chaffee and dr. Chris Palmer( Brain Energy book). My 30 year old son with AUTISM non verbal, when i stop giving him all those toxic processed foods, and put him on Carnivore diet/18:6 fastisting, he become more focus, actually he looks at me when i talk to him, he does not bite, or hurt himself anymore, and for the first time in 30 years, my son call me MOM❤. And that tells me right there that crapy nutrition so call healthy veganism, was hurting him mentally 😢. Thanks to those awesome doctors, i learn so much from them. God bless you both🤲🤝🙏
I'm so happy for you and your son. May he thrive ❤❤❤
That just made me cry.. sooo happy for you and your son.. God bless you love.. that's the blessing and miracles w love to hear😊❤🙏🙏🙏
I though vaccines caused autism
7 years a vegan? Try 38 and see how your health is then especially during the Menopause.. I'm 70 this year and have just done 90 days on Carnivore. Feel strong & fit with all aches, pains & migraines gone - as has 18lbs & 10% body fat! More protein and more animal fat is the answer to most health issues..
Agreed.
So 90 days is more evident than 7 years?
So apparently theres no difference between carnivory and cannibalism?? These people are soooo astranged from reality and it's pitiful.
Are we sure that Jack isnt a murderer himself? He ALWAYS brings up killing human beings and comparing it to killing animals.. its not the same thing.. he has no valid points.. just trying to guilt trip people.. Tash and Jack, you are both not informed enough to have a debate like this…
Giving me psychopath vibes. But he's a cuck to her.
Must be so painful to be like that.
Compassion and empathy are important strengths. That allow for understanding and respect.
No one is asking why after all the cancer research money raised the chance of getting cancer has increased. Why new vegan processed foods are so unhealthy the same if not worse than processed foods.
We are all in this together and should be trying to reverse all the manipulation, instead of infighting we all need to look up
😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
They’re simply more ethical . Sorry , vegans are just more ethical cut and dry. You can exact all the gymnastics, over - articulate cause-sided studies/ analysis ( like our doctor friend). End of the day, one group is voting for bullying/violence/ oppression while the other votes for peace/equality.
They did ok but no they're not informed enough
Both camps cherrypick because they have agendas to push.
They're both wrong if we are talking optimal diet.
Raw plantbased "vegan" diet is the only one we should be eating..
It takes transition
Chaffee!
I was vegeterian many years. NEVER would I have thrown a tantrum, because somebody else was eating meat at the table.
(as a matter of fact - my husband was eating meat all the time I wasn‘t. He was ok me not eating meat. I was ok him eating meat. That is called tolerant).
How rude these vegans act. Unbelievable!
That's why nobody has an issue with vegetarians 👍.
Go vegan why be an udder sucker or chicken period eater when there is no need and it’s extremely unhealthy. Also divorce your husband unless he goes vegan, stop being such a fence siting push over and do what you know is right.
@@EnchiladaJoethanks for showing how brain dead you are
I would have forced you to eat dairy based ice cream sprinkled with pieces of bacon!
That's coz you're apathetic or a codependent apologist
I thrive on carnivore. I'll never eat vegetables again. After a lifetime of insomnia, body aches and IBS, and later in life, restless legs and arthritis pain through the roof, four years ago, I went carnivore, all those issues stopped and my lifetime depression disappeared.
Meat heals.
So happy you found the food that been healing so many.
You did a elimination diet, clearly something was triggering these reactions, not all the other food groups.
@SocialWriting Yeah, I eliminated grains and vegetables. And I've got several friends that saw my improvements and are now on it and thriving and pain free. What's your point?
I am one of those patients who has benefited significantly from eliminating plants.
I really laughed when vegans replied that they don't know any vegan who is sick.
Youre too young to see it in your friends and you are not a doctor. The sickly do not come to you for advice.
@@amitkoren948plus, its a lie because there have been MANY just here on youtube that had tons of followers. Every time it happens the same. They are praised while theyre vegan, the community loves them and follows their “what i eat in a day” videos talking about how GREAT their meals are.. then one day they post and say they are quitting because of one health issue or another and the whole vegan community “cancels” and shames them. They say they are lying, selfish, were NEVER really vegan and the funniest part? That they “didnt do it right” lol. 🙄
Another liar presenting anecdotes with gullible morons clicking the like button
one of hundreds of thousands :)
Moral of the story: Vegans care for and love farm animals. Don't give AF about insects and birds.
Put some socks on ffs.
These vegans aren't listening at all. Young and naive. Would be interested to see their health in 30 years and whether they are still vegan.
You'd have also said that about Donald Watson and his friends who founded the Vegan Society in the 1940s. Watson, as one example, lived into his 90s and died in 2005.
U don’t have any argument of what they said huh
Listening to what? How about present an argument
Too true. These vegans are running on stress cortisol. Not good for their health.
@@CarnismDebunkedAnecdotal - one person out of billions. No argument.
It’s not an ethical issue, because humans and animals are not equal. We should treat the animals well, don’t get me wrong, but we need to eat meat to stay healthy.
If someone not same as u therefor wi can enslave and kill them? What’s the morally relevant difference between animals and humans which makes it ok to fame one but not the other
👍🏼
What is the distinguishing trait that justifies a lion eating zebra? @@veganix6757
See the Dominion documentary, it's free.
@hamstarist
But unfortunately, Dr. Chaffee dropped down to below Jack's level of disrespect when he called Tash "Sweetie." How condescending! 🫨
Good observation regarding definitions. I had the same thought listening to the vegans' language. The use of sensationalist terms hurt their argument in my opinion.
@@torahtrae3412honestly would you be able to keep it together with those idiots interrupting and making you look like an idiot every four seconds? I'd have a hard time.
It's actually quite entertaining watching two people with all of the "veganism" talking points debate medical doctors about nutrition.
