There's something super duper appealing about a Skyline/GTR modified Stagea. I mostly see R34 front ends but now I need to go looking for R33 noses. Excellent video, can't wait to see the Carol!
Ah, yes. Purely a subjective view, but I don't dig those 34 Stageas at all. So, the 34 GT-R face is a big improvement in my eyes. Oh! Yeah, no 32 and 33 wagons... I'm looking forward getting this Carol done myself :)
@@RichardLangis They dont offer mt on it even tho its identical chassis to WRX amd STi. Nissan just stopped making wagons and syupidly never offered Stagea in europe.
One of the best grocery getters period! What a unique and amazing build; would definitely be a dream to own but would have been much better with the GTR engine in it, sweet conversion none the less!
Thank you. This would be well beyond "grocery getter" here. Maybe a kei car serves that role here. Lol. But yeah, this with a full GT-R drivetrain would be a amazing.
I love the fact that the japanese station wagon community is still strong unlike anywhere else where they all switched to minivans, of course leaving aside those elgrand and vellfire hahaha! What a cool build! I wonder how they got the doors wider to match the rest that's insane!! And what's also insane is the craftsmanship that you're doing on that ray Daniel, working on body panels properly is not easy at all, you can give me all the mechanics but getting creative and straightening, fixing dents or fitting panels is so difficult! Then the paint. You got some skill right there :D
Hey mate, I know this is an old video so you might not be able to answer, but I've been trying to figure out what wheel offsets these GTR M35 Stagea conversions use. I Watched that original Japanese video you mentioned and I didn't hear them talk about the wheels. Just wondering if you might have contact with the owner and could let me know size and offset?
Wait up. This is Chris Watson?? People were pointing me to your vids of the Miata build heaps of times. Wow. Congrats on your success with that build. As for the wheel offset, bad news. I never did find out who the owner was. All I heard from the garage was that it was a customer's car. And, I spotted the car many, many years prior to editing and uploading. Apparently, 'Kids Heart' (is it?) were the garage to build it, and I think there is some connection with them and R31 House/Shibata something... Sorry for not be more helpful.
@@wasabicars Yeah mate that's me! Thanks Daniel! Really cool to even be on your radar since I've been a fan of the channel for years. No worries about the offset mate, no doubt I'll find out pretty soon once my own conversion is underway. Just wanna say thanks anyway for all the videos and everything you do. You're part of what inspired me to start my own channel and as well one of the people that's given me a determination to move to Japan some day.
Pretty cool conversion. Coming from the 2000s Honda customizing era, for me, conversions have to flow and look oem. Good body work definitely a plus. This is a pretty cool car!

Sorry, I didn't (couldn't) look so closely. Sneaking around someone's car in a shopping centre car park at night is a tricky thing. I'm also ethnic minority... The blog post I saw of the car stated it had a 5 speed auto. That's the best I can do
Well I love the Stagea because I think it's the perfect dad mobile 😂. But to comment the non functional right exhaust tips, no we didn't al done it, actually that's one of very few things what I don't like people are doing it. I admit it looks cool but that's actually already all. The thing is that the effort is almost the same to make it functional as if it's a blank 🤫.
Why can't we have cars like these here in Europe? Our country is full of boring V70s and V90s and maybe an E-class wagon. I'd rather buy this as my next family car! 😘
The only way I would would own a gtr is if it was this i know its not a real gtr but it was at autosalon a while back and I had the hots for it then imagine this with all for running gear
Your comment makes me a little angry. I have put all of my heart and soul, as well as countless hours and kilometers searching for rusty old cars over the last 10 years. Do you think they just appear on command? They dried up years ago. I’ve talked about this before, and do I not say how scarce old cars are in EVERY DAMN VIDEO?? M***** F******, I commute 2 hours every damn day. Exhausted every damn day. Make videos for demanding, ungrateful f****era instead of spending time with my wife and kids for 10 damn years. They grew up while I was chained to my desk making stupid videos. Wtf?? Do I owe you anything????? Stop watching my channel for Christ’s sake

The intro tune really grows on you the more you listen to it.
I glad you say so. The lyrics are just amazing.
Skyline and Stagea is just such a winning combo you'd think Nissan would have caught onto it by now and just made it stock.
Subaru has the Levorg but they still don't export it worldwide. It's all about the numbers, sadly.
I'm keen. I love a wagon

Daniel, that white Corolla 2 door/Coupe is simply brilliant!
Thanks, mate. A very very special car for sure. I wish older cars were far more commonly seen

Very good stalking dan was the number plate 35-35 😉👍👍
