Cant believe its been 2 years since you had that other lift, I remember when you got them and havent missed a video since. Been watching since the very small garage days before the miata got built. You have come a long ways cand cant wait to see this new shop get decked out.
I know I'm not the only one that said "Oh, goody!" out loud when he started to put the second lift up. I'm such a dork.
@@ronjones-6977 For me i was like oh yes finally!
Haha same here.
I think the only real benefit of water and plumbing would be a sink. Having a nice deep sink to clean off with inside of your shop is such a nice luxury.
Who else loves the sounds during the time lapses? Because i friggin do!
the way it is cut is a bit distracting as it does not always sound like whats happening on screen
i've actually stopped watching other channels because of their edits of sound and detail of process Tyler has ruined I mean enhanced my taste in content needs lol
It's the best!
Yeah you got a point Bud
It’s nice, but I miss his time-lapse music 😔
Just so happy for you Taylor! You totally deserve all that u have. We’ve watched you put in the time and work to get where your at and it’s cool to see it all come together finally. It’s going to be exciting to watch the content now as I feel things will be kicked up a notch or 2! Some patience paid off!!
Do any of you understand how satisfied this video was to watch. This dude is the only UA-camr I watch every video from. Taylor great job.
What a long journey from Ben's to your own Garage and Shop! Be proud of it...It is YOUR'S!!
Probably my favorite UA-camr on this platform. Keep up the awesome videos Taylor!
That’s the dream!
Build cars you love,
Get paid to do it,
Do it all from home!
Well done! 👌
You deserve every bit of it. Probably one of he most humble and nice guys I have ever met. Keep it up brother. Enjoy that shop and get that corvette done.
Holy shit man. The flake floor looks amazing with the shop. It's insane how much better it looks :D
Shop is coming out amazing, tyre racks and changing area, loft and welding table, the stuff Dreams are made of.
As someone who has owned multiple shops, and still does. I can't stress the importance of making an outside shed for your compressor. No matter how quiet and efficient it is.... It still produces heat and makes noise. You can always make it impossible to hear for your neighbors. But, to make it impossible for you to hear.... it will consume a ton of shop space. A small pad that can be hand poured, a quick enclosure with insulation. Game changer. Being in Florida, just make sure you have an automatic moisture drain on the compressor, and use multiple water air traps (those can be plumbed inside to increase efficiency). I can't stress that enough.
I Love your channel. I am 53 and always been a car guy. Never interested in drifting. I stumbled onto you channel and you are Awesome and I totally dig drifting now. I am currently spending the night in an ER and am so grateful you have a new video to watch. Great work.
Now that you have a great shop, we the people neeed supervisor Sandy back in the shop to help keep the projects on schedule.
You sound so emotional in the beginning. Happy tears I'm sure. I can't wait till you achieve your goals and make us all proud to "know" you!!
Shop looks great! I am envious of the two lifts. Great content Taylor. Looking forward to the next video.
Man I can't believe the shop is finally done. From when you first said you were looking for a new place, and the original place you were looking at fell through and you were so bummed out... And then to find this place but the shop wasn't exactly what you wanted, and now it's basically a dream set-up... It's crazy how far you've come in what feels like such a short time, and it has been a hell of a ride to take this journey with you. So happy for you man. Can't wait to see you finish the Vette in here and tear up the comps! Congratulations man.
Wow the floors just made this place level up! Looks great!
Crazy to think back to when you were building the Miata in the small, shared garage of your old house. You deserve this shop man. So stoked for you and your growth!
I meet you like 6 years ago at Import Alliance and been following since. You definitely deserve an awesome work shop to jibber jabber in.
Most satisfying video ever. Glad you waited to get the floors done right before jamming the place full of projects again! Nice work
Awesome that you have achieved your dream. The shop is beautiful. Congratulation on your success !
Glad to hear it’s a polyaspartic no one ever wants to pay the extra price but it’s so much better
Layout Idea: The left corner could be a fabrication/welding area and the right corner could be an area for your tools and a nice workbench and in the back center you could have some work benches.
Your channel is the best. In-depth projects with high attention to detail. Start to finish builds always adapting and growing. Variety on cars, on building, on racing. Thank you for all the videos. You are great.
awesome! every car guys dream to have a shop like this within walking distance of the house... amazing! keep up the great work
It doesn't count until Sandy approves!
Weird feeling to be proud of someone you’ve never met or spoken to but I’m proud of Taylor. He’s living his dream and seems to be loving every minute of it.
Honestly my favorite car channel. You show everything; fabrication, building, troubleshooting, and motorsport. Thanks for just filming the real stuff and not just flashly clips.
It’s like the rug in The big Lebowski. It really ties the room together dude. Congratulations looks awesome. What a dream.
Congratulations on getting the shop done, it's something I think a lot of people would be proud to call their own.
I definitely would put a big stainless sink in, maybe under the stairs for the loft. We have a large one from a commercial kitchen that was torn down and it's extremely useful. Not just for washing up after greasy projects but also for cleaning/soaking parts if needed.
Shop is killer, from those early days in the share house to now. WOWWEEE
So aweaome!!!
Lifts side by side was the right call for sure, no need to waste the space to the door.
Floors turned out super good and seems like the camera really likes them too. Everything has very even exposure.
Exciting to see it all coming together, can't wait to see it with all the tools!!!
Congrats on the Garage looks amazing. Nothing like have a professional work space. Can't wait to see it fully set up...
WOW 2 years sure flies by LOL. Congrats! great to see your hard work paying off.
beautiful pups, thanks for sharing them with us.
Taylor that shop is a dream of mine aswell. Glad it is finally done and I’m very impressed by the whole corvette build that was done in your garage it shows anything can be done. Keep up the killer content
Taylor, I just want to say how much I thoroughly enjoy your content. It doesn't matter what you're doing. You're methodic, not over the top, humble, you're not annoying at all (unlike a lot of other you tube creators), and you're very informative for the genre that I am interested in. THANK YOU! You deserve everything you've worked for to get to this point. Congrats
So crazy to see how far you've come! From being happy to have quickjacks to having 2 full 10,000 pound Benpak lifts and a full shop that'll have all of the cool gadgets and machines. CONGRATS!
congratulations. a big step but you know it will never be finished. Lol. You have a great neighbor to help with the extra hand. kudos to him. It looks great. You earned it.
Love the shop. Taylor Ray
Absolutely the shop of our dream. You build your dream car and we will enjoy every step of the way.❤️👍🇨🇦
Looks the the floor in my detached garage. Been 12 years now and I love it. Wears very well. It also does an outstanding job of camouflaging dropped bolts/nuts. A friend actually bought a large magnet with a handle for me to "sweep " the floor when trying to find them. Perfect!!😂
All right I might be a little jealous. Only a smidge 🤗
congratulations on the beautiful shop.
I remember you pushing the (back then) red Miate around, left side of the old house, back and fourth. I've been with you for quite some years! I love to see how everything has turned out!
Big love from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Looks great! Only thing I would've done differently is drywall just to clean it up a bit more but it's your workshop! Excited to see that bad boy get some use!
Congrats Taylor! The shop looks sick!
Straight up a dream shop. Wow
Man those floors came out beautiful. Good choice.
Shop looks awesome. I'm glad to see it working out for you. Cheers
Been watching you since you started building the C5 back in the day and had the gen 1 Cummins. You’ve always worked hard and I’m so happy for you man. Of all people you deserve this the most. Congrats brother. Can’t wait to see the C6 ripping it up at the freedom factory
Magnificent shop, Taylor! I'm very jealous! Dutch regards Nico.
Taylor I'm so happy for you. Bro your out here livin the dream by MAKING it happen. Good for you brother
One more thing, any of who loyally follow you, we love the jibber-jabber! 🤠
Need to get Sandy's opinion of the new shop!
This is my dream shop too, maybe not as big/tall or long... but close. Love it!
Congratulations Taylor, your garage looks awesome.
Hell yeah man this is just about ANY car guys dream! Very nice Taylor and well deserved 👌🏼
Shop looks like a dream!
Sheds coming together. Two major things I really want to see, 1: fire extinguishers. 2: medical cabinets.
Been following this odyssey for a while. I am happy for you, it's not very often individuals make their dreams come true.
Thanks for letting us all follow along as you made your way down this path.
Great experience for us all.
Well done. Only thing I would have done was install a utility sink. Even if you add it later and make it’s own drain field. With hot water of course. A small insta-hot. Otherwise I would love to have that same shop. Spray foam was the best feature.
The shop looks great! Enjoy it!
Congratulations on your new shop. 👍
Hey Taylor, I think it would be neat to get a rough cost breakdown video of each part of the shop build. Rough building, Insulation, A/C, floors, lifts, electricity. Would be fun for those of us with houses, and some land to do something similar! Thanks
Those floors look insane, proper dream setup there
Shop looks great, I’m very happy for you!!!!!!!
Thank you Taylor; looks great.
I worked at a place for 8 years that put this same type of coating on the floor in the office. It was a CNC lathe shop, I always had large steel chips imbedded in my shoes. It holds up well. As long as you’re not doing SUPER abrasive things on it, it will last 10-20yrs probably. The area under my rolling office chair was just slightly dull/scratchy after nearly a decade of dragging my boots and plastic wheels with steel chips stuck in them 👍🏻👍🏻
And by “last” I mean keep its shine! Hope you enjoy it!
Crazy! I remember you working out of a shallow 2 car garage! So excited for you.
A long time coming well done Taylor and Jose.
Amazing work shop , can’t wait to see when you have all tools set up.
Keep up your great content always look forward to seeing your episodes.
Floor looks sharp! I wish the walls weren’t so bumpy 😞 but once they’re covered with giant checks and banners I’m sure it’ll look better! 🙌🏻
LOVE IT!!!! Can only imagine how good that would feel... couldn't believe u said it's been 2 years since u got those lifts?! Feels like months ago! Really happy 4 ya mate... been a long road to here... enjoy it
Right, when he said two years I felt like I just saw that video of him getting both.
Congratulations on the new shop
I like the shop, its a big upgrade from what it was, and i love how light it is inside. The only thing i don't like is the look of the sprayfoam. I just can't get used to the unfinished look of it.
Middle of Summer with the sun bearing down I don't think he's going to care so much about the looks when he's not roasting :)
I can't wait to see the shop all finish, with the mezzanine and all closed or not sub-divisions.
3:55 Keegan doing some quality supervising there. Sandy has trained him well!
He learned from the best!
Absolutely unreal man, fantastic work!!
Don't forget to insulate the garage doors ! Shop looks sick man!
I got the floor in my garage sealed, it is sooooo freaking nice, absolutely love working in the garage now lol, looks so good!
This is a time to use stingline. When putting in the lifts. Nice setup. Love the new shop!
Nice dude that's got to be a good feeling! We're all jealous!
Shops looks awesome Taylor well deserved keep up the awesome work can’t wait to see the vette ripping
The floor looks amazing!
HELL YEAH!!! We just did epoxy on our machine shop floor before we moved in.
those floors are so sick man, they are the floors i wanna get in my future shop
Thank you for sharing the sound of moving the lift I enjoyed it 🤣🤣🤣
Man seeing the progress, from a driveway to a full scale complete garage, man you inspire me to keep on grinding until i can obtain and own my own space garage. I hope you keep obtaining all theese blessings so that you can inspire more people. Also can't wait seeing you, your team, and the vette winning some podiums in the future times, so for the comp, beware of Taylor!!!
My dad has this exact flooring in his garage. going on 8 years now and it still looks brand new when he mops it to get all the dirt off :) thats with it being both a machine shop welding area and where he does bodywork/general mechanics. Great choice!
wow the new floor looks awesome!
Shop looks great bro! Can't wait for more shop vids.
seeing these videos makes me happy
Congrats man. Definitely a dream shop
watching u install the lifts brought back a childhood memory. growing up i always thought it was funny the plates on the garage lifts had no bolts in it, i remember i saw a meme one day and called my lil brother and sure as shit, still no bolts in like 2018. my dad's exact words... "thats what everyone else said 20yrs ago". lmao idk how i survived childhood. we sold that house few years ago, sometimes i wonder about those 3 lifts tho.
when i moved into my shop i ripped out a very janky bathroom and everyone always asked why i would do that? and that any bathroom was better then no bathroom. my answer was the same as yours, i go inside ever so often to talk to my wife or get a drink, i can just use the bathroom then. plus my house and shop are even closer together then yours. Shop looks killer! stoked for you man!! so cool to see it all come together!
Big well done stoked for you and the team
hearing protection, love to see it!
The sound of the Miata high speed was hilarious!
Awesome shop! Congratulations!
