Tri-Rail Action at Rail Fun Day 2023!

- Tri-Rail and SFRTA hosted their annual Rail Fun Day event on March 4, 2023, and I went down for a bit to see some trains. The event drew a large crowd, and that included some other railfans. I had unfortunately missed Amtrak 92 but I saw four Tri-Rails afterwards. P674 was running 15 minutes late, and southbound P673 showed up before it. An hour later, there was an erroneous announcement that the next northbound P676 would be boarding on the other platform, but the clear signal on track 1 proved that wrong. Despite all five active sets having Rotem cabcars, railfanning at the event was enjoyable.

Shame those people at this event probably didn't get to see an Old Cab Car. And yeah, it does look like 520 has the new more automated-sound E-Bell. I wonder how soon it'll be until an Old Cab Car gets one too.
