The problem i have with this is that eventually you need 3 full teams for raids. the egeear and skill books are so heavily gated that you end up taking months to build 1 unit. its crazy. with how many nikkes you need and how long it takes to build them im a bit discouraged.
I already got Mana on day one when her banner drop. Unfortunately, she took 6 multi from a purple fake out pull. The doors turned golden yellow. She was all the way at the end. Glad I only got one copy of her. And I thought I got shafted again!
Mana ended up being the last character that I was able to pull for (regret nothing, collection meta) and now I'm in the "when can I upgrade" waiting room indefinitely. It's unfortunate how fast she's fallen off though, didn't even make it to the next solo raid 😒💀

For kracken i personally do in full auto with mainly wind characters, Valume, Blanc, Noir, Scarlet bs and the only character that is not wind is Cinderella. My problem is not survival but damage because i arrive at only half stage 5
@Zxous Have you tried Liter or Volume, Crown, BSS, RH Rapi, and Naga and actually attack the cores of the tentacles. Naga isn't there just for healing. Its to nuke the tentacles which if you can kill the tentacles and manually cover Naga for the water spout attack after core exposure she will not die. If you want auto play mana or bunnies but if you want to push stages manually use Naga.
I pulled Mast: Romantic Maid on two multi. I used 5 free rainbow tickets from the game and the rest of the free gems I got from the New Year three gacha ball daily spin. This is a better out come than Mana which took 6 multi pulling one copy of her.
Hmm, how come naga dies on stage 4? I was using naga with much less upgrades in alice team and I can pass to half past stage 4 and never had anyone dead... I am almost level 5 with mana instead of alice and keeping naga (my noir is bad) and naga never dies (I am only level 268 synchro so I am rather new to the game)
Would love to get Mana, but due to lack of upgrades, equipment and skill upgrades, I'm going to stick With my SBS paired with Alice and Fav Item Helm. The charge speed and crit rate is pretty decent and I am satisfied with that especially since I only have a single SBS from the day her event came out waaay back lol

Same, I can make it to Stage 6 with that lineup on my non-optimized F2P alts at Sync 324, but I do mechanics like killing the tentacles at every spawn (because they automatically target electric units), and timing my bursts so that Crown's shield is taking the brunt of Kraken's unavoidable AOE smash. You do those things, Naga can survive the whole three minute fight; you can make it to Stage 7...which is when Naga has an 85% chance of getting one-shot, but at that point, you've hit the reward cap, so it's a moot point. I find it somewhat disingenuous to argue that one *must* use Mana because Naga is risky, then doing everything you can to ensure that Naga *will* die halfway into the fight. You don't need to rig the fight to make a point everyone should know: the risk of Naga getting gibbed is always there, but we do the mechanics to make sure it doesn't happen for as long as possible. Look, Mana *is* an improvement over Naga for Kraken because she does everything Naga does (and then some), but it also means taking out Alice and replacing her with another wind unit like Noir or Summer Sakura so SBS can hog the charge speed buff. Is it an improvement? Sure. Do you need to do it to get past Stage 4? No. If you're not playing on PC, you're not particularly fast, you're horribly underleveled, don't want to wear out your fingers quick firing with Alice, or if you're over sync 400 and pursuing a complete finish, then sure, Mana & SBS are very much worth considering. However, if you're playing PC, you know the mechanics, can deal with Alice, and are willing to settle for Stage 6 or 7, then the standard Crown, Alice, SBS, Naga, and Liter/Rapi party is perfectly serviceable.
I comfortably get 7 with Crown SBS RHapi S.Sakura and Naga. My Naga only dies if i don't kill the tentacles. Full auto is 5. And I don't have the resources to spend on Mana. Helm and Drake need em, elysion duo is coming, and collab soon

Well i already have SBS and Summer Sakura, their team comp deal 3.4 milion dmg, so she will be in my wish list, i tired pulling her but she did not came home.
I use Liter, Crown, Scarlet: BS, Sakura and Mana. Mana is just a sub dps for me and to trigger crowns passiv. Sakura and Black Shadow are destroying this boss.
For sure, Rapi RH for burst 1 she does so much damage she can replace liter. Crown for burst 2 Black shadow and sakura for B3 and naga for core. Naga helps to destroy the tentacles. U break the shell and its all core damage too. Mana for sure can replace Naga. If u build mana she helps a lot but she can be lower investment if ur Naga isn't somewhat invested. Definitely worth to try and get but do not use golden tickets
yeah, if you run naga here you gotta fully engage with destroying tentacles. i run sakura/naga because theyre built and i hit 5 pretty easily at 310. Didnt build Mana because my shiny new red hood is eating up all my skill books.
No we don’t need Mana. Don’t spend your golden tickets on her. Freeing up Alice isn’t so much of a game changer that it’s worth draining your resources over a mid Nikke who has little true value outside of being a Charge Speed Up slave for Scarbs.
Mana isn't freeing up Alice, she's freeing up *Naga* by offering Crown a bit of flexibility when it comes to a healer. Coincidentally, Mana also has a charge speed buff that discourages players from using Alice (as she doesn't benefit from having a Charge Speed faster than 100%), but there's no rule that says Mana wouldn't work with Alice and SBS. It's just not optimal. Thus, she's breaking up not one, but two, meta pairings by being useful to Crown and SBS simultaneously. SU knew what they were doing when she was on the drawing board.
