The tribute concert was amazing. You might want to check out George Michael singing "Somebody To Love". He did a wonderful job and well worth a watch. Thanks for your reacting to this! All your work is appreciated as always.

Thanks Pluto... this entire concert was phenomenal... only Freddie could bring Annie Lennox and David Bowie together to sing "Under Pressure" and Axel Rose (Guns 'N' Roses) and Elton John together to sing "Bohemian Rhapsody"... well, and a big shout-out to Roger Taylor for organizing and planning the whole thing... lots and lots of memories... and even a new song that night when Sir Brian May sang his song "Too Much Love Will Kill You" to the public for the first time... only later did they release Freddie's version of the song... quite emotional considering both versions... thanks again and keep up the great work you're doing... blessings.

I’ve seen The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert several times and I’m still amazed at the brilliance!! Considered the greatest tribute concert at that time! Freddie was loved by so many!! This rendition of TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN featuring Joe Elliott from Def Leppard is one of my favorite performances. FYI - Queen’s Brian May did the honors of inducting Def Leppard into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame!! 🤩

Thanks for doing this, I watched on the day,l danced ,sang, laughed and cried my way through it I thought the late George Michael was the best singing someone to love,he was a friend of Freddie's Freddie's and Freddie was a hero to him. George found out shortly before the concert that his partner had aids,George didn't tell the band, not wanting them to be concerned about him,he gave a short speech before he sang ,you could feel the passion. Loved George.
The BBC made a documentary about aids and the concert,if I can find details I'll send them to you xx

The boys are '...running headlong...' towards their 50s in 1992. Brian, Roger, and John were born, respectively, 1947, 1949, 1951. Wow, huh?! Young 'uns were Joe Elliot (1959) and Slash (1965). Dayum, Joe we *are* not young ones now, lol ;-)

The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert For Aids Awareness was an outdoor charity concert held on April 20, 1992 in London at Wembley Stadium . The live broadcast of the concert could be followed all over the world via radio and television . The concert was organized by the remaining members of Queen in honor of their singer Freddie Mercury , who died of AIDS .
In February 1992, at the annual Brit awards , Brian May and Roger Taylor announced a concert, and the next day when tickets went on sale, all 72,000 tickets were sold in just six hours, even though they were not well-known performers. who will participate with the remaining members of Queen .
In April 2002 , a recording of the concert was released on DVD and immediately reached number one in the UK charts. Unfortunately, it was released without the first part of the concert, and because of that, harsh criticism was directed. The performance of the song " Innuendo " was omitted from the DVD at the personal request of Robert Plant due to his voice problems during the performance.
