      You guys need to invest in some good respirators. That is some nasty dust. Nobody wants you guys to get sick. Doing great work, everything is turning out a amazing.

    Amazing how the doors and wardrobe just pop out effortlessly harmonizing with the stone walls. Wainscotting will add to that balance.

    That ceiling gagged me through my phone. It was unbelievable the amount of dust coming out of that ceiling!😮

    Another option for the green plaster would be applying a stucco to match the color of the brick mortar. That way you’re keeping some of the room’s history and the abstract shape might look cool breaking up the geometry of the bricks. Just a thought!

    Billy, I’ve been thinking about what makes your channel so watchable. Everyone probably has a different reason, and I doubt anyone would watch who doesn’t have an interest in historic buildings. But also, you’re consistent in a world of inconsistency and you always move forward despite any little setbacks you might encounter. Your channel is a bit of shelter from the storm of world events. Thanks!

    I kept checking my sandwich while watching, to make sure it was still clean!
    The battery technology has been improving! The fact you can take the power with you on the job site is great so you can keep working without having to rout cables all over.

    Might be a good idea to put a powerful fan facing outside in a window or that floor vent to pull the dust out 👍

    Steve’s use of his demolition pick is unrivalled. That dirty and dusty work is incredibly hard but he just tears into it👍🏻👏🏻. Every room you tear down and clean up is revealing so much character underneath.
    Hope EcoFlo will sponsor Sean. He could really use something like it on his farm as well!

    Billy,Sean, and Steve my darlings. The demolition is very very dusty. The results are fantastic. A lot of clean up. Hopefully the woodworm will be very little.     Billy, please put EcoFlow in touch with Dan from Escape to Rural France. he desperately needs power at his derelict chateau. It will be months till power is connected there! Such a cool tool! I bet Gwendolen would appreciate you installing a shower at the Convent so you come home clean! Save your car interior too! :)

    Please consider using one of the resin products for restoring the integrity ot the worm-eaten wood beams. It soaks into the wood & makes the wood even stronger. You can use wood filler to cover up & smooth out the beams. If the wood is not too far gone, this would be a good option to try. An expert could confirm this for you.

    All that demo will be worth it. Getting this back to the stone and wood beams will be so good. The wainscoting is a good solution to hiding the stubborn concrete.

    My goodness the sawdust and debris coming down with the ceiling is huge. Steve is quite a trooper taking down that difficult ceiling. I love those ecoflows. They really seem to be a great product. Thanks for showing us the small one. xx

    Another day, another ceiling - and what a lot of dust!
    It suddenly occurred to me that a long time ago, someone worked for weeks plastering all that lathe.
    I hope you can save the ceiling, it would be a pity if the room with that lovely wall didn't have the same beautiful ceiling as the other rooms.

    Amazingly hard work but Steve did a great job on that ceiling, you all pitch in clearing up the mess which is great. I love the idea of wood pannelling at the base of the walls, it will show off the stone walls once they are finished off. Great job, well done. 💕🇦🇺

    You could also try an angle grinder on those bits that didn't want to come off.
    One of my biggest dislikes of older buildings like your convent, is the mortar and how it just falls apart like packed sand.

    I am also impressed with how much knowledge Billy has in every area of the Convent, esp renovations. He has great style and picking out pieces of furniture and refurbishment. Billy likes to say he doesn't have much knowledge in x. Then, he expounds on the floors, ceiling, walls, etc.😊

    The stone wall is a pleasant surprise and a shame that cement plaster prevents the wall being fully exposed. Steve's work is herculean. That Ecoflow system looks interesting. Thank you so much for doing ll these videos, Billy. Hope Ryan & Rick are both OK

    Steve did an awesome job. I really hope that after the sand blasting, the ceiling will be OK. Sounds like a good idea to do the wainscoting. Ecoflow is a good thing to have.

    Wainscoting is a smart easy solution or you could sandblast the paint off and leave it as the wall patina. Cheers!

      Agree, although I have spotted occasions when using power tools without ear protection. As someone who has done the same and is now suffering the consequences I would urge everyone involved to take all precautions.

    Wood panelling waist height or window sill height would be a great way of overcoming the cement issue and would look nice tying in with the wooden doors. Can’t wait to see the front doors put in to make a grand entrance. Just what this building needs.

    That room with the feature wall will be beautiful and even if you do have to cover the ceiling you can use the fancy ceiling corner bits and with paneling, it's going to be a beautiful room.

    So entertaining watching others work 😂😂😂 Billy, it was because of your demonstrations of EcoFlow that we bought an EcoFlow Delta 1300 during the gas/electricity crisis, and warnings of electric outages. The EcoFlow is expensive, but it gives piece of mind that is worth every penny. ❤

    Watching Steve the lord of demolition tearing through that ceiling and thinking of the poor sod who will have to wear the hearing protectors (ear pro) swaying back and forth on the scaffolding. Talk about getting an earful?
