Need to do a part 2.................Alot of people from VA not mentioned.........Chris Brown, Trey Songs, J Holidae, Mad Skillz, Aaron Brooks, James Farrior, Lady of Rage, Jonny Newman, Mike Tomlin, Gabby Douglas.....just to mention a few, but other then that this was dope.
@@vantageva yeah I saw that but need to mention more of him because he was the first in VA on the hip-hop scene and plays a small role in the history of the growth of hip-hop
I'm from virginia richmond I didn't do anything special but join the military I would gone special forces but I got early retirement so I had to get out.
I didnt forget them lol, i was focusing mainly on that 95-05 era in the 757. Much love and respect to Breezy and Trey but that aint my side of town lol.
I think it should be recognized that tidewater got all the talent..So it should be the 757 is popping or is always popping and im from richmond..nba,nfl,boxing rap the majority is tidewater..so not va!its tidewater area did for the culture..Like what atlanta did for the culture not georgia or Houston, dallas not texas or LA not cali..Now you can say new york city, but thats the mecca...my humble opinions.

i think VA isnt getting recognition in the culture for the lack of up and coming figures in the 2000’s & 2010’s compared to other states.
Virginia, the only state where you work your life and still never make it out.
