As a G6 owner, I'm not gonna upgrade, mine will stick around for at least another year, it works perfectly still Edit: if anyone is wondering yes it finally got Oreo, just a few days ago and yes the battery life has improved although not by very much. still, not acceptable that it took this long for them to push it out. (Mine is unlocked)
Artūras Malcevas well, the battery is average I guess, it usually lasts around a day but I have the habit to not charge the phone regularly and it varies a lot how much I use it every day. The stand by time is alright, I always use it with the always on display turned off, however I've noticed that Bluetooth is draining battery like I've never seen before idk what it is. As for the camera I think it's really good but it does lack in low light, with the noise in particular being way more than I think it should. As they mentioned in this video the front camera isn't honestly good at all, but I hardly ever use it so that's not a problem for me. Overall I think it's a really good phone
I am also a g6 user, and I have the 64gb H870DS version. I am not happy with my phone at all, and this is coming from an avid LG person. I have had the G2(which I think for the time was one of the best phones for the price), the G3(which was horrible with bugs and crashes and software issues). I skipped the G4 and that horrible thing known as the G5. I have had my G6 since August last year and already I am barely able to get through a full day if I decid to watch some youtube as well as some medium browsing on my phone. The camera as you say is HORRIBLE in low light, I mean, disappointment to say the least. I dislike LG skin, so Im using Nova Launcher. Also, if I dont restart my phone at least twice a week, its an issue. So overall, I am very dissapointed and regret my purchase. The main reason for me not going Samsung at the time of my purchase, is I absolutely HATE Touchwiz, or whatever the new name they have called it. The decrease in battery size, as well as a bigger screen in the G7 is like LG is taking a step backwards. As a result, I will be waiting to see what LG does with the V40, but to be frakn, I am hoping that Google comes out with something special in terms of design for their new Pixel. if so, I will pony up the money and get one.
I've always always double tapped the screen to wake it and to lock it. I prefer avoiding the use of physical buttons, that's why I chose an LG phone. Moving the power button was not necessary in my opinion.
When you are hiding the notch you defeat the purpose of buying a notched phone in the first place! Plus, this is no OLED screen which mean you can't really hide the notch because there are no real deep blacks in an LCD screen. Plus, by hiding the notch you are actually covering even more of the screen real estate because this is no hardware bezel. Plus there's a chin which, again, defeats the purpose of the notch in the first place.
One thing glanced over is on the G7 is the new technology of LCD screens where this is apparently 30% more power efficient. This is conjunction with the battery apparently justifies the battery size.
That's dumb. Put the power button on the side so you don't have to pick it up?? They have been having the double tap to wake for years!' Just an excuse to be more like everyone else.
Steve R how is your g6 performing?? Is there any complaint about the performance of the phone? Im planning to buy a G6 for 350$ since I cannot afford a G7. What do you think?
I have a G6, paid AU$230 for a good used one, performs perfectly still, just as well as a up to date flagship, or such a small difference you won't notice, an amazing camera with an awesome wide angle lens, it is the most underrated phone of 2017
i got one like a week ago, it's still a good phone (300 EUR new) battery is good if you're using it but it discharge a bit too fast in standby imo (i use the always on display but also keep the phone in power saving mode). photos are good as long there's light: in the dark... it's kinda bad. i don'use the selfie camera but for what i've seen if you take a lot of selfie you might wanna get a different phone
And that's stupid because LG always had tap to wake and the LG G4 also had an 8 megapixel front-facing camera and I still have my G4 and think it's the best phone camera I've ever had
shawn cypret yea, im using the V20 and overall its a better phone than the G4, but the camera on the G4 is much better. At least the V20 can offer a wide angle lense
I am somewhat disappointed in this update. To increase the screen size and decrease the battery for the sake of the so called "boombox" experience is counterproductive. As an LG owner, I know that if Nougat(which I am still on with my LG G6) is not optimized for it, and drains the battery, no one can tell me that Oreo is going to be any better for a smaller battery. Over the years, LG skin has never been to my liking either. Therefore, I dont think this phone will be worth the cost when it comes out, or an upgrade for me. I am waiting to see what LG does with the V40, because the v30thinQ is definitely not in the cards.
Jumping from 821 to 845 is a massive upgrade. I have used OnePlus 5. OP5 is way faster than my Google Pixel, HTC 10 & V20. Also it remain cooler than all this phone while doing intensive task. 820 & 821 phone do have heating problem & currently with latest software heating has been intensified.
Solid phone, but if I had a G6 I would not upgrade. To be honest, I would never upgrade from a one year old good phone to any other newer phone. At least 2 years before I give it to my sister, friend or drawer.
Putin Clash Royale i find the lg g7 looks soo much better. Looks is just a preference.. just because you like the look of the phone doesn't make it a better phone wtf people 🤦🤦🤦
They've released Oreo in Korea two days ago. Other regions will hopefully come within a month. But they really suck with updates. I have european version with january security patch but some regions are still stuck with october patch which is insane for a flagship phone!
Lee Price okay how does that work. *I've read the article in the link you posted but nowhere in there does it give me an advantage to the software update.
I liked LG Phones but the battery life was always an issue and the fact the G7 gets an even worse battery makes me happy I went from a G6 to the Google Pixel 2 XL.
Lg g6 is still more than capable of handling modern apps and games. I am a heavy user and have tons of apps installed and it still chugs along with no issues. I ported the Google hdr+ camera app that brings the portrait functionality to the G6, which under natural lighting gives really good and crisp images. The hdr+ images are also very detailed and clear. Follow the g6 thread on xda for the apps. I'm pretty sure that within a few weeks the g7 camera app will be ported for the g6 bringing in all those AI features. The only gripe that I have with the phone is that it's still on android 7.0. Keeping my fingers crossed that LG will update it to oreo by the end of June, as some reports suggest.
Any idea on the Main Camera sensors? I mean make, model and especially size. LG V30 failed in this aspect as they introduced a small sensor 1/3.4. Despite de f1.6, the V30 has no real improvement in low light compared to the G6 which has a 10% larger sensor.
The SD 845 is at least 20% more efficient than the SD835, which itself is 40% more efficient than the SD821 in the LG G6. Paired up with the 30% more efficient LCD on the G7, I would say all things being equal, we should see a boost in battery life of around 60% on the processor side + 30% on the screen = 45% more efficient??? Maybe??? Someone here can come and do better math as this is lamen's math, lol! So although I also wish they would've left the battery at 3,300mAh maybe they had to in order to make that resonance chamber. But still, the current 3,000mAh battery is only 9% smaller. Leaving a real world difference of 37% better battery efficiency due to lower power consumption??? Wow, if this isn't weird math! LOL!!!
Hey Josh,,, Yeah, change s aren't going to be too drastic obviously, because they want to save something for the 8, right. LG has so much they could do to give a more all around improvements,,say for instance front facing stereo speakers? But no, they'd rather do a phone that has to reverb off something else? I'm sure it's a nice new device but as usual as with the battery,,they take some,to give some. But I'm sure it'll cost as much or more.. what are we looking at, around 900,?
I have a G6 and it will be my last LG phone, my phone is still running N android even though O is out for almost a year now, I don't like how LG manage their updates , I had the G3 before and I like LG but not when it comes to updates
I'm running my G6 and love it! It doesn't look like too much better of an upgrade with the G7 to get me to jump to get it! Maybe I'll wait for the G8??
Now that the fingerprint sensor isn't the power button does it do anything else? One thing I miss moving from an Honor 8 to my G6 is that on the Honor you could swipe down or up on the fingerprint sensor and see notifications and settings. Plus it was also a programmable button. Really cool. I may upgrade to the G7 but I have 10 months left on the G6. I wish LG would provide more timely software updates.
There is a software update that you can only get tru the LG Bridge software, the update is 3.3 gb in size and upgrades the Camera app and adds security and performance upgrades, just install LG Bridge on your PC and update your G6
JFn Cho Also just use the manual mode you you can use focus peaking and you can maunally control your focus as well which is much better and faster than using auto mode.
Fam use the camera app made by google for their pixel phones. It's way better and quicker. Someone on xda developers ported it onto snapdragon phones like the G6, just search for it
Nilo Peñaflor it's also a downgrade in terms of camera sensors because they're using the same shitty sensor the v30 had and battery life doesn't look promising.
If it ain't broke don't fix it. Nougat, Oreo, P, Q, R, S, T whatever. The V20 is the most powerful phone that has a removable battery. Only reason I got it since I saw all the manufactures were following Apple and making future paperweights with no removable battery. The Oreo update for the V20 is coming out this month (May 2018) but I'm not sure I would even want to upgrade unless I get some kind of battery improvement or more customization of the second screen etc. Apart from that, my phone works. Does everything I need from it.
I honestly think a V30 is a better upgrade from a LG G6 I like my LG G6 a lot and the G7 doesn't seem like a to big of an upgrade yet and specially since u can find dirt cheap LG G6 online got two like new with a bunch of extras unlocked but where Sprint phones for 130 each. And u normally find them around 200 new.
I just got the S9+ a couple weeks ago and I'm starting to believe I made a mistake by getting it. The G7 is shaping up to be a really good alternative to the most current Galaxy line simply because they aren't forcing you to use their in-house Assistant like Samsung is.
No upgrade for me. No slowmotion, same cameras on the back, lg was the company who was revolutionary... No 4k60 no 4k hdr... My g5 and g6 still move great.
Nothing about the g 7 would make me switch yet. Smaller battery? Weak. All phones should be rocking high cap batteries. Does this have expandable memory?
Correction: you mentioned lg had a 5MP camera in their last two iterations. If you are reffering to lg g5 and lg g6 then ican assure you i have both g5 and g6 and the g5s front facing camera is 8MP and its awesome and for some reason they messed it up in the lg g6 by going down to a measly 5 MP and lousy night time shots. My lg.g6 night time shots look worse than 1MP cameras of 2005
I think their strategy is spot on. It makes sense to not directly compete with Samgung Galaxy phones and just wait until after the buzz is gone. Hitting the shelves of providers 3-4 months later gives buyers a feel for the "Latest and Greatest", which should translate into more sales. Gooo LG!
integrazimmy to add on to what you said, Samsung has priority getting the SD chips in their phones first from Qualcomm. This prevents other manufacturers from releasing their phones early. And no.. Not go LG. I hate that notch with a passion.
Does the G7 vibrate when holding it in your hands to watch videos? Read that the Boombox can't be turned off, is this true? That would be an issue after awhile. Thanks, Pam
The G6 has a superb chassis and I love how practical and functional it is. The G7 looks like a great ugrade in all aspects of the G6. I'd like a to see a comparison between the G7ThinQ and the GalaxyS9+
Sep2X_7 What about battery life, a wide angle camera that is no longer a wide angle camera, also the cheap camera sensor and that stupid notch plus the chin.
Kevin V. It may be a loss in that perspective I guess but if you look at it in another perspective, the latest processor and android os will better improve the power efficiency of the phone; the reduced wide angle further eliminates the barrel distortion and the notch and chin helps with hand ergonomics especially on landscape mode.
The areas I'd only take points away from the G7 would probably the added height and screen size and also the non-programmable Google Assistant button plus the new power button. I'd would prefer size of the G6 and only increasing the screen size further to ~5.8 -5.9". Perhaps the increase was made with the boombox audio enhancements in mind. The power button/fingerprint sensor of the G6 was so unique from the rest of the market plus the double tap homescreen/notification bar was so innovative that it's a waste adding a separate power key on the right side. The Google Assistant button is functional and would be even more if it's not just restricted to its main function.
andres bernardino Battery life is extremely important to me. Don't like changing the G7 to a 3000 battery verses the G6 3300. Has anyone noticed much of a difference ?
@Hydra Jamm. Thanks for the info, that's good to know. I've heard the G7 vibrates while watching YT vids because of the boombox. Any idea if that happens when watching non-music vids? Thanks in advance!
Heres a tip to the g6 fingerprint unlock, if you are constantly unlocking it by accident, use your middle finger as the fingerprint. Also, take more fingerprints of the same finger to get zero places on your finger the phone will not recognize
I am using G4 and G6. I must say there is a one big difference between G4 and G6 and that is the loudness of main speaker. G4 is definitely louder than G6 and that is why is still prefer to watch videos on this phone. I hope they improved that in G7
Battery in lg g6 is not the best feature, so with the lower capacity of battery in g7 I do not expect better performance. If price is after 6 months from the date of announcement as price of lg g6 was than definetally I buy it.
Yes, I'll be switching to the LG G7 soon as I am eligible. My insured replacement phone is the G5 and I've been so disappointed with this performance and having seen enough of the G6 worth changing it out for.
I think I will skip, and wait for g8 to see if they make the lock button on the finger print sensor again bc I would like less buttons, and very much enjoy this set up, maybe the v40 will get it right
As a G6 owner, I'm not gonna upgrade, mine will stick around for at least another year, it works perfectly still
Edit: if anyone is wondering yes it finally got Oreo, just a few days ago and yes the battery life has improved although not by very much. still, not acceptable that it took this long for them to push it out. (Mine is unlocked)
Hey, are u satisfied with your phone's battery life? especially stand by time? Also does the camera's both back and front suffice your needs ? :)
Artūras Malcevas well, the battery is average I guess, it usually lasts around a day but I have the habit to not charge the phone regularly and it varies a lot how much I use it every day. Just cause they make a new model every year doesn't mean you need to upgrade every year. That's like thinking I need to upgrade my car every year.
do factory reset or use warranty (since it's software/hardware problem)
I've always always double tapped the screen to wake it and to lock it. I prefer avoiding the use of physical buttons, that's why I chose an LG phone. Moving the power button was not necessary in my opinion.
Who else like the power button of the G6(on the back)?
Phone is so underrated
its so fun giving people the phone and telling them to find the power button 😂 always takes a couple minutes
Me
watching this on my lg g6
Same.
@Hydra Jamm lmao
@Hydra Jamm i have the lg g8
@Hydra Jamm what phone you have right now?
Me also
I actually like the g7, even tho it has the notch you can hide it. Thats a plus.
Andrei Kazakou. Definitely a good move by LG
Good thing you only use a phone for a couple of years and they don't need to breathe ;)
But the notification icons are still displayed so it would still be usable.
Looking at the notch. I actually think it looks better. It gives a cleaner look epically as the top is the notification area.
Lmfao 😂😂😂
Very nice update, but I’m still hanging on to my G6 for another year at least
Steve R how is your g6 performing?? Is there any complaint about the performance of the phone? Im planning to buy a G6 for 350$ since I cannot afford a G7. What do you think?
I have a G6, paid AU$230 for a good used one, performs perfectly still, just as well as a up to date flagship, or such a small difference you won't notice, an amazing camera with an awesome wide angle lens, it is the most underrated phone of 2017
John Andersen Then in gonna buy one.!!! Thank you!!!
i got one like a week ago, it's still a good phone (300 EUR new) battery is good if you're using it but it discharge a bit too fast in standby imo (i use the always on display but also keep the phone in power saving mode). photos are good as long there's light: in the dark... it's kinda bad. i don'use the selfie camera but for what i've seen if you take a lot of selfie you might wanna get a different phone
nandakumar ravi $350? I found a brand new one on eBay for $290 it was a steal
The only difference between them is that the G7 cant fly.
Get it?
Muhammad Ali Rauf xD
Like a G6 (it is a song)
I’m feeling so fly like a G6.
Lame
Bender Anglesmith kewl
And that's stupid because LG always had tap to wake and the LG G4 also had an 8 megapixel front-facing camera and I still have my G4 and think it's the best phone camera I've ever had
shawn cypret yea, im using the V20 and overall its a better phone than the G4, but the camera on the G4 is much better. At least the V20 can offer a wide angle lense
nigrowstyla I actually want to put it up against an LG G5 but I don't have one the V10 was pretty good but not as good as the G4
shawn cypret How so? They practically had the same specs. The main differences was that the V10 had DAC and was better for taking videos
my G4 lasted for only 1 year, bro...same old bootloop issue. Now I am using One plus 5. Both are awesome devices :)
Quality will be more for the g7
Nothing against the G7 but my G6 is still really great. I have no issues with what I do. Maybe next gen LG :)
G6 looks much better, tbh
Ilya Chap agreed
Yes
if u only care about look..but specs is far better in lg g7 except battery..
Thomas T. if i want specs, i will go to xiaomi
Obviously the specs are going to be better. It is a year newer and LG's latest flagship
I am somewhat disappointed in this update. To increase the screen size and decrease the battery for the sake of the so called "boombox" experience is counterproductive. As an LG owner, I know that if Nougat(which I am still on with my LG G6) is not optimized for it, and drains the battery, no one can tell me that Oreo is going to be any better for a smaller battery. i am an owner of a second hand occasion lg g6 and i am happy with it with an nougat version
As a LG G6 owner I would get LG G7 Thinq next year on T-Mobile when the price goes down. I love LG smartphones I would never go to Samsung or iPhone.
Why does LG get rid off IR blaster and laser autofocus? Two of important features actually.
I want LG G7
Solid phone, but if I had a G6 I would not upgrade. To be honest, I would never upgrade from a one year old good phone to any other newer phone. At least 2 years before I give it to my sister, friend or drawer.
Do you at Android Authority think it will be as structurally sound as the G6 was?...Mine has been such a solid build.
G6 looks so much better than G7! Wtf was lg thinking
Aarib Anwar They thinking future! And you think old..
Aarib Anwar your joking right g6 is so ugly g7 looks good.
Id say both are good looking phones. I myself would remove the notch in the g7 though.
Putin Clash Royale i find the lg g7 looks soo much better. Looks is just a preference.. just because you like the look of the phone doesn't make it a better phone wtf people 🤦🤦🤦
Im still waiting for the 8.0 Oreo update for my G6...😥
They've released Oreo in Korea two days ago. Other regions will hopefully come within a month. But they really suck with updates. I have european version with january security patch but some regions are still stuck with october patch which is insane for a flagship phone!
Runaldi Patrik we all are.
Same my unlocked uk model still doesn't have it
Lee Price okay how does that work.
*I've read the article in the link you posted but nowhere in there does it give me an advantage to the software update.
Runaldi Patrik it's here
Why you didnt add photo comparison?
Any news with the notification led? Is still missing? Is a deal breaker for me
I liked LG Phones but the battery life was always an issue and the fact the G7 gets an even worse battery makes me happy I went from a G6 to the Google Pixel 2 XL.
Does the G7 have a front flash for selfies?

Not shifting from G6, sure there are many improvements in G7 but not much of a deal, infact no other flagship phone is worth shifting for a while.
So they are saving their POLED screens for V40?
Does g6 have bootloop problem and heating problem? Please tell i want to purchase.
19.5 : 9. Grow them taller... Harder to operate, easier to drop, and more expensive because 'bigger'
tom domagalski true
Omg, it crazy. The resonating back feature I dreamt of before knowing it existed but I imagined it in my s8.
Any idea on the Main Camera sensors? I mean make, model and especially size. LG V30 failed in this aspect as they introduced a small sensor 1/3.4. Despite de f1.6, the V30 has no real improvement in low light compared to the G6 which has a 10% larger sensor.
Still using G6 as my primary and only device and i am very happy with it...
The only thing that I will miss if I will upgrade to G7 from G6 is the power button on the back ..
Whats the real screen size if you hide the notch?
Is there not going to be a v40?
Battery capacity doesnt sound pleasing. Everything else 👍
The SD 845 is at least 20% more efficient than the SD835, which itself is 40% more efficient than the SD821 in the LG G6. integrazimmy those are just theoretical calculations man. Real time battery life is all about more juice and optimization.
g7 does have led notification?
kj Tahmeed Yes it does!

i wonder who will the first to make dual notch..for top and bottom
Would the G7 be a good upgrade over my Galaxy S7 ?
I'm using the g6 and will definetly upgrade once the price comes down a bit
Where would I be able to get this??
What’s the point in adding a black bar to hide the notch??? Just don’t include it
James Haughty agreed. It serves no purpose!
Vernon Warren exactly. It's the same on the Huawei p20, gives you the option to hide it. Just leave it out
Because now we have the option of more screen. What dont you people understand about that?
Bandwagon effect that’s all...
TypicalTechLife TTL it's not really that much more screen tbh
I have a G6 and it will be my last LG phone, my phone is still running N android even though O is out for almost a year now, I don't like how LG manage their updates , I had the G3 before and I like LG but not when it comes to updates
As a G6 user,i would upgrade for the audio,ai cam and the screen. Do any other of you G6 owners have image retention problem on yours?
I'm running my G6 and love it! It doesn't look like too much better of an upgrade with the G7 to get me to jump to get it! Maybe I'll wait for the G8??
What messaging app and default keyboard does the lg g7 use? Are the emojis complete in the new g7 unlike the g6? Thanks for reply.
Now that the fingerprint sensor isn't the power button does it do anything else? Bigger battery, front facing speakers, no notch, symmetrical bezels, Pure Stock Android and I'm sold!
Y the Lg not increasing the ram from 4 to 6 gb main drawback ...
Things I'd like to hear about: 4k and audio recording. Is the vibration strong enough that I'll feel it in my pocket?
Tap twice on screen to wake? You can turn it on in settings.
is the autofocus noticeably faster in the G7? it seems slow on my G6 even with outdoor sunny shots. thanks!
The Masked Roboto i need a link, please
Fam use the camera app made by google for their pixel phones. It's way better and quicker. Someone on xda developers ported it onto snapdragon phones like the G6, just search for it
It should be because of Laser AF in LG g7
I smell some image retention problems coming back since LG is back with IPS LCD panel.
I would say that G7 is quite a big upgrade from G6 in terms of build design and some other extra amazing features.
Nilo Peñaflor it's also a downgrade in terms of camera sensors because they're using the same shitty sensor the v30 had and battery life doesn't look promising.
I like everything about the G7 as long as it doesn't have any IR issues...its the only thing that prevents me from enjoying my 4months old G6.
I have a V20 with a removable battery, so I will not be "upgrading".
ishb3w I hear but LG still has not updated it to Oreo or even for that matter Android N 7.1.1 I'm still on 7.0. That is unbelievable!
Im using a V20 too and everything new seems like a downgrade lol
If it ain't broke don't fix it. Nougat, Oreo, P, Q, R, S, T whatever. The V20 is the most powerful phone that has a removable battery. Only reason I got it since I saw all the manufactures were following Apple and making future paperweights with no removable battery. The Oreo update for the V20 is coming out this month (May 2018) but I'm not sure I would even want to upgrade unless I get some kind of battery improvement or more customization of the second screen etc. Apart from that, my phone works. Does everything I need from it.
ishb3w if LG makes another phone with a second screen I might upgrade my V20 but until then...I'm good
Jim Jones the image retention problem made me departure to V30.
LG, please make a smaller phone (5" inch or smaller) and cram in as much high end specs as possible.
Marvin Fernandez 5" or smaller? It is not for serious work, max calling and SMS. 5" and smaller has not future in smartphone category.
I meant to say 5" screen or smaller, but hey one can dream.
How well is the notch hidden on an ips display ?? The black levels on my G6 are good, but not from every angle.
No upgrade for me. No slowmotion, same cameras on the back, lg was the company who was revolutionary... No 4k60 no 4k hdr... My g5 and g6 still move great.
Why why why that button is dedicate for AI?
My questions are does it record video in 4k at 60fps and does it have concert mode that uses the earpiece as mic for very loud environments?
I believe it's NOT 60FPS think its 30 like g6
Yajaira Aguilar that would suck cause the S9 does 60fps
Nothing about the g 7 would make me switch yet. Smaller battery? Weak. All phones should be rocking high cap batteries. Does this have expandable memory?
Using the headphone which one sounds better or louder is it the g6 or g7?
Correction: you mentioned lg had a 5MP camera in their last two iterations. If you are reffering to lg g5 and lg g6 then ican assure you i have both g5 and g6 and the g5s front facing camera is 8MP and its awesome and for some reason they messed it up in the lg g6 by going down to a measly 5 MP and lousy night time shots. My lg.g6 night time shots look worse than 1MP cameras of 2005
LG is awesome but arrives late to the market
I think their strategy is spot on. It makes sense to not directly compete with Samgung Galaxy phones and just wait until after the buzz is gone. Hitting the shelves of providers 3-4 months later gives buyers a feel for the "Latest and Greatest", which should translate into more sales. Gooo LG!
integrazimmy to add on to what you said, Samsung has priority getting the SD chips in their phones first from Qualcomm. This prevents other manufacturers from releasing their phones early. And no.. Not go LG. I hate that notch with a passion.
Last time lg was early and gave the g6 sd821 instead of the sd835 and released in 2017 giving it 2016 specs
What about the real battery life? Can anyone tell me some things and numbers about it?
Is there any CINE VIDEO mode in lg G7 ?
Does the G7 vibrate when holding it in your hands to watch videos? Read that the Boombox can't be turned off, is this true? That would be an issue after awhile. Thanks, Pam
As a Canadian Lg is making it hard for me to not upgrade because if you pre order the phone they give you a free 43inch 4k smart TV with the phone
They went back to the drawing board to get us only a slightly better camera and sound ?? Less battery and the notch!!
Wallpaper id please? @0:42 and @0:59
LED notification on the G7?
Do one vs the v30
What a very well made comparison video! Id want one but I'm still very happy with the G6.
andres bernardino Battery life is extremely important to me. Don't like changing the G7 to a 3000 battery verses the G6 3300. Has anyone noticed much of a difference ?
How is the speaker on the G6? I'm borrowing a G3 and the speaker is on the back and at full volume I can not hear videos! It's really awful.
@Hydra Jamm. Thanks for the info, that's good to know. I've heard the G7 vibrates while watching YT vids because of the boombox. Any idea if that happens when watching non-music vids? Thanks in advance!
When u buy the Korean version on G6 and get the Oreo update on time (March 29th) before other markets
Heres a tip to the g6 fingerprint unlock, if you are constantly unlocking it by accident, use your middle finger as the fingerprint. Also, take more fingerprints of the same finger to get zero places on your finger the phone will not recognize
How thick is the notch/bezel on the G7?
Hi, I have the LG G6 and and undecided to upgrade to the LG 7 plus or the Xiaomi mi 9 se. What would you do ?
someone knows if the portrait mode will be added to the g6? cause the lg g7 is doing it with software I guess.
I am using G4 and G6. I must say there is a one big difference between G4 and G6 and that is the loudness of main speaker. G4 is definitely louder than G6 and that is why is still prefer to watch videos on this phone. I hope they improved that in G7
I am done with lg g6 , now looking forward to buy pixel 2
I'm actually down for the V30
4 months it will be half price, it's the best time to buy LG flagships
I have the g6 currently for a year now and I'll wait for lg's flagship phone of the year.
I have to lg phone 1 is g6 my main problem is the battery lifetime
Has anyone in the US received the Android 8.0 update yet?
They should have left the notch out because now i will prefer going for the p20, but then I heard headphone jack😊 and saw the camera.
Battery in lg g6 is not the best feature, so with the lower capacity of battery in g7 I do not expect better performance. If price is after 6 months from the date of announcement as price of lg g6 was than definetally I buy it.
Can anybody figure out why LG slash battery capacity for? Extra space for the resonance chamber? Google assistant button? Ai chip ?
Save the Rhino I think the resonance chamber.
Yes, I'll be switching to the LG G7 soon as I am eligible. My insured replacement phone is the G5 and I've been so disappointed with this performance and having seen enough of the G6 worth changing it out for.
The battery capacity is a big turn off, 3000 only? waiting for HTC U12 that hopefully comes with a bigger battery.
I got G5 and I'm still happy with it.
That power pause at the end keeps getting more pronounced lol.
I think I will skip, and wait for g8 to see if they make the lock button on the finger print sensor again bc I would like less buttons, and very much enjoy this set up, maybe the v40 will get it right
Can i upgrade my g6 to g7 from lg showroom??
