    Thanks for the video guide! I'm replacing the closing wheels on our four-row 7000 this spring and am planning to order these units. Nice to see a little walk-through in advance!

    Have 4 rows narrow 7000. Where is the best place on the row units to improve it? Have new meters, belts, tubes, firmers, and drive clutch is two years old. I only about 20 acres of corn a year. No soybeans.
    I don't have a monitor but would like to get one. 1500 at local planter shop.

      The 7000's in general bone stock are very good planters in my opinion Something we did and I was very satisfied with what results I seen just visually was we started running a spiked closing wheel one side of each row and a smooth wheel on the other side and I really feel it improved seed to soil contact especially in heavier soils and where we had cover crops....definitely get you a monitor so you at least know all your rows are planting
