""Im gonna shut up and continue with the lesson.. allthough I could talk for hours about Jimi". Alex, do us a favor and just make a video talking about Jimi. Love your work!
You all probably dont give a shit but does someone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me
@Evan Darwin i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Mr Guitar Force..I'm late..doesn't matter..I remember my great friend Jimy at Brancaccio in Rome 1968..I was 12..and blues and Strato changed my life for ever. But life sometimes goes wrong and my job was in Army..Parachute Carabinieri special forces..Lebanon ..Somalia..Iraq ..Bosnia Afghanistan..But my " Little Wing"( so I called my Strato SRV) was ever with me.. Now I'm old and I need to learn play guitar well before I go ..to another life. Thank my dear friend..I wait you in Italy ..Do not forget .
Thank you for your lesson. I know it was nearly 10 years ago, but you have a skill for showing how to play a piece that gives all of the information without tedious "this is how you play guitar" time wasting. I hope you were rewarded over the years for you generosity. Peace from Australia.
There are many guitar teachers on UA-cam, and at all different levels of experience. But you sir are a cut above the rest by a long shot! You always nail it and clearly have a passion for detail and accuracy. Thank you for your lessons. I'm always happy when I see you doing the lessons on the song I'm looking for!
Jimi wrote The Wind Cries Mary in just a few short hours(after an argument with his girlfriend) and he recorded the song in just 20 minutes, the song demonstrates Jimi's subtler use of effects and his deep rooted connection with the blues...the composing brilliance of Hendrix is immeasurable..
"A lot of people don't like when guys talk about stuff in the video, so I'm gonna shut up..." I've always wondered what prompted this comment. I just wanted to say that I'm happy to have a teacher say a extra words if they want to. Often hearing something about the background of a song, or hearing some comments about why it is the way it is, can be really helpful. As one example, I've found that when someone presents all the notes in a solo, it doesn't necessarily stick with me if I don't know where the notes came from, but if someone says "so these are just notes from the E minor pentatonic scale in such-and-such position" and "then there's this little run down the blues scale," etc, it really helps me pick it up. I'm not sure if that's what some people would object to, but just let me say that I'm happy to hear whatever words you want to put in! Thanks for all of your work!
I didnt have high hopes as I decided to watch this. You have a great way of putting the key pieces out there while encouraging the student to piece it together with their ear. Very well done sir. Ill be playing the shit outta this in no time now.
I appreciate you sticking to Jimi's style and all the nuances and different variations Jimi does, other videos seem to play out just the chords and not all that different styles how Jimi would play it. Bravo 👏 👍
Well Done GuitarForce , 44 years after his passing Jimi's music still Lives All Over The Globe , Very good to know he was an inspiration to many pickers .
Perfect lesson. Everything is clearly described at a perfect pace while also explaining chord structure and progression. Please keep up the excellent work! Much appreciated
Really awesome display of musical understanding and guitar tutelage.Exactly the content I was hoping to find as I learn this song. Excellent.Thank you!
Ey Alex, I want to thank you for ALL of your jimi lessons. They are very authentic and you really understand jimis Art of playing. it helped me a lot for understanding. Best Lessons I have found in the Net. Keep on grooving
Completely brilliant lesson. Great layout, tab, explanations, etc. This is a great lesson by a committed musician who loves music and his instrument; why comments ask where he is from is like beyond stupid. Thank you Mr. Guitar Force for posting this great lesson.
Why is asking where a person from "beyond stupid"? It's a point of interest. If you hear an accent, it's a natural curiosity of humans to discern the origin of said accent. People who exhibit no natural curiosity, to me, are the ones who are maybe not stupid, but just dull. Why are you dull? That's a better question, DB
Never been in this channel before, and yes i really hate when people talk irrelevant stuff 70% of the video and don't compensate it with his mediocre lesson. However this time, you just got my like and sub before even teach a note. That was such a great introduction bro, keep it up, and just like someone said, we would love to hear you talk about Hendrix. You got the gift to communicate. Love
You can talk all you want in your videos, your badd ass dude. God Bless You. also you can make part 2 vids where you talk about peter green or Jimi or whomever.
Thanks Alex . Really cool lesson and as a BIG! hendrix this is a great starting point as you said . I have already gone through you solo lesson and when through someone elses rythym lesson but yours is far better and When i listen to you play it sound just Jimi ! so i will concentrate on the FORCE . The biggest problem I have with this whole song is the phrase in the solo that has a ffull bend on 12 B string then 12 E , 9B etc etc . Just need to keep at it . Thanks again master Yoda !
Alex thank you so much champion , awesome lesson you’ve made it look easy cos you’re a such great guitarist thank you so much I love this song so much 🙏🏼🔥🇦🇺🌟✨⭐️💫💛👏🏼
Just wondering, do you play slide? Would love to learn Derek Trucks slide work on (Claptons Crossroads Benefit) "The Needle and the Damage Done". Wow, that would be awesome!
When you play the G and the Bflat chords, you play them both with the same strumming - yet the tab you show has them being played differently. What's going on?
Daniel Tambasco The Tabs are there just for the reference (especially for the chords). You can play as it is written out in tabs, if you like. But don't take every little detail into consideration. Jimi himself wouldn't play a song exactly the same twice.
Honestly I don't know. You showed us a tab but during verse you just talked about how Jimi could play it but never really showed us how to play the whole section note by note. I would not say it wa a lesson, more of an essay to me.
this guy is a smart guitarist who communicates well.
good simple easy explanations
You are absolutely right to start his song

I have been learing a song a week from this guy! He is by far one of the best when it comes to learning guitar.
Top notch. You are so good with explaining the details that are hard to get just looking at a tab. Thank you Guitar Force! You rule
Thank you for sharing your experience and clarity! This is an excellent lesson!

+Pedro Carboni Yes, that's an American Standard and yes, you can't beat that neck pick-up sound, that's why I love Strats.
Nice job
Just love your stuff
Well thought out and demonstrated, thanks ;)
what pedals or stomp are you using to get his sound?
You can tell the difference between a guy who does a Jimi Hendrix lesson for the views, vs. a guy who does it from love.
The tone in your video sounds groovy man!
Thanks, man!
Great job.

Honestly I don't know. You showed us a tab but during verse you just talked about how Jimi could play it but never really showed us how to play the whole section note by note. I would not say it wa a lesson, more of an essay to me.
4:38 😀
Are all these guitarists capable of playing the entire piece without pose?
2018 anyone
"Dead note"? I think there's a better term for that.
Ghost 👻 note 🎵? Both dead right 👍▶️
