I bought Syntronik 2 MAX - OMG, the synth samples are incredible and pure - the filters fantastic - the effects surprisingly brilliant and the UI is easy and fast, i.e. does not get in the way of creating, which is another big positive!
Very nice quality sounds, as always. The new functionality is a godsend though. Definitely going to open things up a lot for creating more expressive patches.
can I change presets by using some knob. It would be nice and even nicer if get these synths as .NKS compatible so people could use maschine knobs for tweaking.
So what am I purchasing when I buy these packages? The presets? Are these complete synth models, or are the presets the waveforms that you can edit using the models. For instance, when I opened the Matrix 12 I wasn't able to change the waveform. Does this feature become available when I purchase the synth? It's very confusing how this is all structured.
Syntronik 2 has deeply-sampled oscillators paired with modeled filters plus DRIFT technology to recreate the nonlinear aspects of vintage synthesizers along with deep editing. The manual elaborates on these aspects and how to get the most out of Syntronik 2.
I cannot find a switch to quickly change octave of the layer. Is it true there is no such a a thing? This is basic functionality which you should consider implement first because you want to check the possible bass or solo or layering possibilites. Semi tone slider is very wrong way to do it because it takes eternity to scroll to +12 or minus 12...or 24. A knob is even worse. Just simple arrows up and down would make it work. It should have the switch to set octave global and then you could match(browse tones while keeping at the same octave) the sounds of different layers from the octave perspective.
It's very nice that synthesizers are finally not presented by EDM musicians. Erik is a legend and he knows what he is doing.
Just wanted to confirm that a rep from IK reached out to me and fulfilled the competition prize! I barely win things, so this made my day!

I really like listening to Erik talk about the product, and I learned some new stuff too. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!

Yes... I would love a full VST recreation of Elka Synthex
Thanks Erik. I own Syntronik2 but with this video suggested many things that were not evident to me. I will work more on that for my concerts.

Id love to have microtuning added!
+1 for microtuning.. the world needs more microtonal music..
Has anyone compared this with UVIs offerings?.

I downloaded this Great Friend just today,
EMS VCS3, Oscar (England), PPG Wave, Waldorf Microwave (Germany).
😬 I like what I’m seeing! 🤔but will Syntronik 2 make it to iOS?
🤔Hmmmmm
Yes please, an IOS version!
