What other pros and cons can you think of?
Assuming we are using a real life versions of Wolverine’s Claws. Other cons include: 1) The three claws might not be as effective as a single concentrated blade. 2) Due to the curve of the claws, there is a risk of getting your claw stuck in bone or armor. 3) If you don’t hit your target precisely, you risk bending and breaking your wrist upon impact. 4) Because of their design, the claws are kinda awkward to slash with 5) Against a sword, your range will be limited.

It's shown in comics that a big flaw is he has to have his wrist and hand in right position bc they'll go through then on the way to come out, the actual length of his claws goes past his wrist and if you bend his palm back, you can slice his own hand against them.
As a martial artist, a rarely feel like wolverine is seen using his claws in the manner in which they would be the most efficient. I feel like a centuries old warrior who fights ninjas should have some real visceral tricks up his sleeves.

How is that his wrakness. his healing factor keeps it from killing him. That's why he's healing factors never at full strength. It's always on overload because it keeps the adamanium frim poisoning him. Don't mistake the movies for the source material

con 5: is will,endurance or intolerance a slight extension of one claw alone can cause some excruciating pain type of shit what will make you drown in your own tears fortunately fr my boy logan he is a tough and resilient soldier who has experience with extended bone claws fr most of his life so a pain like that would feel like a mosquito bite but fr a average folk most of this would be sooooo unbelievable painful it would literally distract them in any combat scenario

Another problem is the impact on the wrist and tendons. Three blades have a lot more resistance and they are quite long levers.
A single blade rotated 90° would be infinitely better and would be far more stable. So, Assassin's Creed had the better idea...

Fun fact it’s actually stated that Wolverine’s healing factor is actually quite weaker than it was originally was because a solid chunk of it is dedicated to fighting adamantium poisoning.
It honestly doesn’t make sense tho. If the adamantium is indestructible how does it poison him? That would have to mean little bits of the metal are breaking off into his blood stream.
@@Solznmid they aren't really indestructible so i think it might be that the adamantium gets into his bloodstream while he's fighting absolute powerhouses like Hulk and Apocalypse
@@Solznmid Blood comes from te bones, so... when his healing factor is doing all its process a little bit is always going to his blood, and nothing is really indestructible at a micro level.
And remember... this is comic shit, don't use too much logic or it will fry your brain.
@Solznmid Adamantium is not indestructible, just extremely tough. And it doesn't need to have tiny bits floating around, it just needs to react with something either in his blood or bones since his entire skeleton is coated. Even if it doesn't, his immune system could still see it as a threat and try to reject it.

Also, everytime you deploy/ take out those claws, ur wrists have to be in a straight line as your forearms. Otherwise, the claws will come out of your palms or your wrists depending on the position of your hands.
Actually, they just won't extend. The way they're designed means if his wrists aren't perfectly angled, then nothing happens.

Don’t forget the fact that when they are extended, it is actually very painful because the body heals when they are retracted, and the claws damage the skin and tissue to extend, and then you have to actively fight pain of pieces of metal shredding your fists
V-sauce did a video years ago that described Laura claw as being better for combat simply because all her force is being directed into one blade instead of three. So she has an easier time cutting
She can use two in both hands, one in each foot.
See that would be true if adamantium blades didn't instantly cut through everything. It doesn't matter how much force you apply as long as you have correct edge alignment.

@@Markbell73You're ignoring the fact that all three of those are insanely strong compared to a human, and weigh anywhere from 300 to a little over 1,200 pounds. Some bears going up to 1,500. The smallest out of all these is a female lion with an average of 280-300 pounds, but still stronger then the strongest humans.
The cutting power is lessened, it just has insane strength and weight behind it that makes it so devastating to a human. Watch what it does to bigger animals, their claws aren't so bad then.

Yeah thankfully his healing factor does give him extremely high pain tolerance to the point where the claws feel more like a pinch and less like a harsh tear through your knuckles. But if he experiences too much pain, his mind goes feral since its very difficult for him to pass out from shock.

Con: because there are 3 claws, the force is distributed over a larger surface area, so when you strike, you will leave three shallow marks compared to someone with only one blade, who will leave one deep cut

Con you missed if wolverine doesn't position his fist properly his claws can wind up passing through the palms which considering his healing factor doesn't neutralize pain I can imagine hurts like hell
One big con, based on a shot of an X-ray of wolverine in the background, the claws are long enough and housed in such a position that they should be impeding any motion of his wrist and rotation of his forearm

Another Con that people don't talk about Wolverine actually has super strength ( More like excessively above average) but because his entire body and arms are so heavy he can't hit at full force
wouldn’t that help him hit harder? the guy can obviously throw punches and run around. Putting a lot of weight on him would help. it’d be like lead boxing gloves
@@jestawell for this exact reason is why his punches don't hit as hard. Just like in real life boxing gloves are used to cushion their blows and weight down the users arms. A punch is as strong as the amount of force u put behind it. Quite literally F=MxA in order for him to produce more or equal force with heavier arms he would need to be punching faster than he can normally..which he can't therefore this would be a equal amount of force to less force in most cases.
Actually, Logan is constantly being poisoned by his Adamantium laced skeleton. His healing factor is severely nerfed by the constant heavy metal poisoning.
