No if you don’t add sunscreen than it would be a tinted moisturiser
I think the bb cream came out more better then your makeup side because it makes your face look more natural and matches your skin tone. :) plus I love bit of a dewy finished look !
the bb cream side looks so much better, smooth, youthful and radiant than the full makeup side, it looks valley and washed out
+Brooke Shinall I agree! Glowing, moisturized skin almost always looks more youthful - especially on people over 30. I think more people should get on the Asian dewy-skin trend!
What is valley?
I just mix equal parts of foundation and my moisturizer( contains sunscreen) on my fingertips and then apply on my face. 🤷🏻♀️ it works and I don’t need a separate storage container.
I tried this and it works really nice. Try to add less moisturizing cream though. The cream is very natural and very HD looking. Maybe it depends on the foundation but overall it's great
If anybody out there has combination skin, I tried using a liquid to powder foundation which was too drying for my skin and a garnier's mattifying moisturiser. Neither worked too well on my skin separately but together it makes my skin look dewy enough without being oily, and mattifys my skin well enough so it doesn't look greasy after a while. It doesn't really bring out my dry patches either, as some foundations do. I also added a couple of drops of a different liquid foundation just incase and a primer that targets pores to help smooth my skin. It works really well, just keep experimenting with different products until you find what works for you :)

Honestly, I like the bb cream better than full makeup
for a less oily looking option make sure you use a more water based mosturizer and sun screen
Just ran to the bathroom to make my own with foundation that's a good colour but just so heavy and mask-like (which I hate). I love how I could experiment with how much or how little make-up to add until I hat a faintly concealing, moisturising result.

When u try this make sure you have the same base in all ur products because and oil based foundation will not mix well with a water based moisturizer.
That is a pretty cool trick. But I think that seems like a lot of product to mix and apply. I think the ratio of moisturizer to foundation is a bit off. But overall it looks great. Gonna have to try it myself
*TIPS*
-If u have oily skin try putting in something that isn't like water based like powder. Not necessarily baby powder but like someone else said Ponds. Ponds is a great brand, highly recommend but it doesn't have to be.
-If you find your BB cream to light and don't want to buy another foundation that darker cause i mean who does? Try putting in a little bit of cocoa powder in it at a time. It will give a darker color if it's too light.
-If you want it to be less visible try using foundation or cocoa powder to make it as close to you skin color possible and don't pack it on u spread it.
-If there isn't enough coverage don't put in so much moisturizer. It tends to lighten instead of thicken the BB cream so put a little less so it has more coverage because if u just pack it on it makes it very visible and not so natural and youthful.

@Everyone: I have seen many different recipes of BB cream...Well I live in Bangladesh n it's always really HOT in here...so the oiliness which comes from the moisturizer+sun's cream is a problem for oily skins like mine........so I'll just suggest that use less moisturizer+some oil control powder (like Ponds)+face powder (that matches to your tone)+very little amount of any pink/brown blush powder....trust me people it works really nice ^_^

I have been loving the BURT's BEE's BB CREAM, it goes on smooth, lasts all day, natural, smells earthy and good, great for dry skin, and all skin types, colors are light, light/medium and medium.. I bought a light and just add a dot of medium to it to mix it to match if light is too light, you can add some of it into your favorite Burt's Bees lotion and apply it that way too, if you don't want a dewy finish, top it off with some Burt's Bees powder 'mattifying' and try their blushes and lipsticks and glosses & chapsticks they are all amazing products... I am not into 'foundation' so i thin out my BB cream with some face cream, you won't be disappointed in their products, they are natural and the best !!

Honestly, I'm 12 and I have some red spots and acne. I use concealer to cover my acne, and my own BB cream for red spots. I love BB cream. It's great.

I prefer more face cream with a dot of BB cream, rub into skin, add powder in areas you want to set, add blush, done. IF you have very dry skin, this is best, BB cream alone is still not enough moisture for my skin.

want an easier DIY bb cream? PUt coffee grounds and lotion is a bowl and mix! The more coffee you put, I will be darker and the less coffee u put, it will be lighter!
Note: The coffee will dissolve which leaves your cream nice and smooth without the coffee grounds. :)

kaylamack8303 Vaseline breaks down makeup, so definitely don't. You can actually use Vaseline as a makeup remover haha

It's a good recipe but you don't need to mix in that much foundation. That's a waste.and a waste of money because foundation ain't cheap .

The way you're doing it is messy. Use an empty jar, that had moisturizer, nite cream, eye cream, etc. in it. Squirt or spoon everything into that jar, then mix it with a coffee stick or mini spoon. I'm a 52 y.o. guy and I've been doing this for years, before I knew what "BB creme" was!
