It breaks my heart
I did this with my brother once. He jumped off a cliff and we died instantly. It took us 2 weeks to get off the great platue.
It took me an hour to do two shrines

That's pretty good, you should be able to finish the game before the end of the millennium.
Honestly thought this was gonna be modded 2 player. What I found was way wackier and more entertaining than I expected! Might try this with a friend later!

Unfortunately modded 2 player does not yet exist as far as I know. This is the closest thing we have.

I tried this with my dad about a year ago, it basically went like this:
Me: *Goes one way*
My Dad: *Tries to Go the opposite way*
Me: *Tries to attack a monster*
My Dad: *throws a weapon*
I gotta be honest, this way a lot better then the one I did with my dad. 😭

When I played Breath of the Wild for the first time, I played it co-op with my family. We were four players, so at one point two always played and two watched and then we switched. We also alternated who played with which controller.
It was fun and it worked pretty well, even though no one of us had played it before.
How do you make it 2 player?

One of the only three star fragments that I have ever obtained was on the plateau.
"Smells" are solid, so if you can breathe water it works just like for us
me and my friend used to do this and we called it "double braining" (when we died we never swapped controllers though) and me and him never watched anything with this and we thought we created it lol so its nice to know that its a "regular" thing
That's awesome you were able to do this before! This playstyle was kinda tossed around amongst some ever since the switches reveal, but I think its quite fun for this game haha

I did this with my friend a few months back, and we did surprisingly well, we were in perfect sink I sometimes forgot that In order to beat botw I needed two controllers.

croton, I haven't experienced true breath of the wild since 2018, so please make a glitchless breath of the wild playthrough and try to remake the feeling of first playing the game in 2017. if you could do this it would bring back so much nostalgia i would die (in a good way i guess) so please do this as my dying wish thanks!
