omg!! ty so much for the tip about the twigs! i been farming them from the wolves dens is kind a pain running around from on to another getting all the bush i get on my way to the next one ...>.< living as a hunter requier so much farming for the darn arrows!!
To explain what you were testing, your changes to the world last until the world has a reset/respawn event, usually every 2-3 day ingame OR when you reload the world/game, if you log out everything respawns to a fresh world and your Flame Altars preserve anything in their AOE The warning is that you need to get an altar back at the base before you let that happen, but you can destroy your altar and move it in your base without issues as long as you expand it to cover your base again Meaning that with your stairway to heaven, you could place an altar then just build straight away with a staircase, plop a altar at the end as far up as you can, then continue extinguishing the previous one as you go and then the staircase would still be there in the entire thing for atleast a day in game, allowing you to fix mistakes you may make at first
I noticed that you only build with the starting blocks. If you do some more quest and explore the map you will eventually unlock a lot more really gorgeous blocks. And also nice furniture. So its really worth it to wait a little bit with base building until you have a wider range of options. I'm just telling this because I also did the same as you and was a bit frustrated after finding out there are so much better building blocks. I've started a new base now and moved all my stuff. 😂
oh ye ive unlocked a good chunk of them, for example im using the luminescence ones in my garden as side walls and it lights that whole place up at night so i dont have to sleep anymore to do gardening. other than that tho appearances are usually secondary to me, functionality is usually what i go for
@@framinthor oh ok if appearance isn't that important to you, you don't need the other block options. Then it's probably better to just use the starting blocks to reduce resources
ya, u can just take over mansions with comfort. found one in glenwood with 26 comfort before I built. now I have like 48 comfort with over 50minutes of rested
I think it is working as intended. Even though it doesn't say it, if you destroy the alter and leave the area for 2 hours or restart the game then everything will disappear. So, I think it is just a fail safe for players. I could be wrong.
@@ddnn1142 its only 1 altars thaats unenesesary yhere and still have 4 more left to play around. Honestly i dont feel like much of a handicap because the ancient spires also provide fast travel points.
It could even be his "first base" because although the game tells you to place that one at the red lights/flames, you can actually place it quite a long distance from there (maybe infinite), i placed my first base altar very near the bridge, the quest updates _when_ you place it, not _where_ you place it You could probably place your first altar in middle of the Bridge, if the bad guy at the end would leave you alone long enough
I don’t recommend a castle in the sky, I have a castle that I wanted to make taller but there is a height limit for buildings. Edit: just move your flame alter up to build higher lol
@@framinthor i really don’t know, you can join my world and see if you’d like. I did see that you definitely built higher than me with that sky platform not sure how. There’s a red barrier way up in the sky that doesn’t let you build any higher. Maybe it has to do with the level of your flame.
To make rake if missed make a new character and game craft it leave it in a chest load your main character into the game grab rake from chest go to your main world problem is solved your welcome
Ppl should male rake on server so ppl who sont have it can pickup one take 5 seconde instead of 2 hours to creat a new xharaxter and do all the quest to make rake
Decisions were made. Some are not too great lol. My experience from survival games is needing multiple crafting constructs so I pre-made rooms way too big than needed for this game to anticipate this. Alas there's no need to create multiples of anything in this game except maybe the flower beds

Love the castle in the sky idea, thanks a lot! Another easy way to get twigs - wolf den floor, pickaxe, loads of twigs!
Yea found that out yesterday. Great twigs tip for sure.

I just had this thought today about the “castle in the sky” I’m glad you made this video!
😂😂😂😂😂 block by block is INSANE

Siiiick
Thanks Framinthor :)
You could also add remove add remove add remove and keep going up that way without doing a ton of farming. Just don't fall!
Bro your legendary for this video! I’ve watched tons of tip videos for this game…the castle in the sky 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Can we talk about the character name? lol. Love it.

i saw a guy repaired Braelyn Bridge at the beginig area
Too bad bridge will return to its original form the moment he log off or he have to leave one of his two altar permenantly there to keep the changes.
@@ddnn1142 Some people like to play these types of games ONLY for the building aspect so they probably dont care.

@ancientseed2607 did you keep moving your altar higher? Since it has a radius limit of 40x40x40/80x80x80 etc.
@@framinthor oh that must be it. Mines on the first floor LOL
I wish I could get the rake to appear in my crafting menu.
Same lol I just noticed today it isn't there. Luckily I don't find much use to it even with the exploit to stretch the dirt
@@framinthor well I just want it to smooth out the hills where I want to build, apparently that is permanent inside your build area.
I think you have to make it before level 5 because of the current bug.

By default it should be X button
