I see I left a comment here 5 years ago. This was a cool project and thank you for making this ! I since then own my Po-20, and I ended up with "all po-20 tracks sounds alike, it gets limiting sound wise", and then I listened to this album and it brought something fresh back. Made me like the po-20 again :D
This deserves way way way more views and likes. As a fellow PO-20 owner (the PO-20 being my first “synth”) i know how extremely difficult it is to come up with ideas with the incredibly limited resources. Kudos mate! :D I love every bit of it!!
I just ordered my own PO-20. Thanks for sharing, it's great to see the range you can pull out of it. I've watched a few tutorial videos but they're pretty basic. Edit: Speedrun freakin rocks man.
Wow, it's five years already? I barely remind the controls :D Thanks anyway :) I used PO20 sounds only and think that's all about the placement on the grid. Some sounds behave wierd when you place them nearby themselves, some sounds mute others etc. PO20 is great for experimenting. GL!
really nice :D the po-20 is one of my favourites :)) i kinda end up with the same patterns so its hella refreshing hearing what is possible! i dont know if you care but dont be sad about the views, not many people know what a pocket operator is, so not many people will click, but those who do probably really appreciate it :)
Hope you don’t mind that I just added this whole album to a PO-20 playlist I made on Spotify. So far there’s not a whole lot on it though. It’s proving quite difficult to find other po-20 releases on Spotify. 😅 Most of the ones I find are only available UA-cam, SoundCloud, or Bandcamp.
Clavet Yes, I’m saying that I added your album to a playlist on there of PO-20 tracks. I wanted to try to group the pocket operator arcade songs on Spotify together. Couldn’t find a whole lot of them but there’s at least your album, a single track, and an EP.
@@dizzystardust7452 Unfortunately Clavets songs have become unavailable for some reason. So they aren’t on there anymore. It’s really just down to my EP and one other PO-20 song I found. Not many people putting out music on Spotify with the little device. open.spotify.com/playlist/4Zubwhwm0VvdIcrl4rPYsr?si=dWKhPQmdTPGV1vny7l5t2Q
Goddamn this is great. Just got one of these myself. Thought I could do all there was to do but clearly there is more for me to learn. Not a music guy unfortunately, more a gamedev looking to (hopefully) be able to make something like this for my own games.
This is my first synth as well, though i feel like i'm not using it to its full potential. How do you do the bassy LFO ish sound on track no. 2? Thanks in advance, love this album.
In Zombier Hi dude, errr I dont remember sorry XD but try turn on bass sound on the every button and try change parameters of the sound on few positions and u will see, glhf X)
@@clavet I see. I was curios if it was from another PO or synth, but it looks like there are so many sounds you can make just on this small device. Thanks again from Croatia!
In Zombier Np! Your finished track record via sw on your computer and little edit bass and high for better juicy sound than the raw one, which comes from po 👍
I really like it! It's nice to hear how different you have made your songs with the same machine. It's really inspiring! The gallop in Victory is really nice, how did you manage to get it?
Conrad thank you! Sorry I don’t remember but I know that some sounds have some chain-edfects with other sounds. Put one sound, put other sound after end of the first. Try one sound put on the whole pattern and change for some buttons parameters. With PO it’s one big experiment X)
This album rules!!
Thank you! :)

Very late to this post, but I just wanted to say that this is really well done. Nice work!
Thank you so much! 🏌♂

Sgt. MuffleBunz ah, thank you man, I appreciate it!
The visuals for this is incredible. Clean and I know exactly which track is playing, thanks for that extra mile
Virgo Bro thnx dude XD 👍
Nice, this convinced me to buy a pocket operator
Thanks! Nice to hear it, really appreciate that!
Good job
How wasnt this further up in the youtube list this is great and deserves more fame
Sadiquecat oh thnx ^^

Thaaanks and GL with your work ^^

ErokLobotomist Really thanks man, I appreciate that ^^
great work!
Nice. I want to make video game music with the PO-20 if it sounds this good.
Fantastic. I think this made me realize that the PO-20 is not for me, but you certainly did well with it!
Thanks man, it’s really specific machine, but I had a lot of fun with it.
Great inspiring music!!
Thank you! 💫
Love the fast arpeggios of the first. How make it? Im new with po20 and i ask to me if use step multiplier for this, thanks

Good stuff man! I posted a few PO 20 tracks on my channel too, great little instrument.
You have good stuff man too! Thanks!

ZeldaN64Fan ah, my bad with reading, how could I be negative that you added my tracks to your playlist? Thanks! ^^ hope u enjoy :)
What's the Spotify playlist called? I want to listen ☺️

Also gotta ask, were you able to get all this edited together with just the PO? Or did you have to use an external program/tool? If so what?
Thanks, its only with PO 20 :) just try everything what you can get from this device 👍
How did you export the sound? I love this album!
Thankyou! Connect PO via jack cable with your PC and use some simple SW as Audacity for example etc.

I think is bass on 1-16 with 2x step multiplier and b knob changin waveform while going on

Conrad Good Luck mate :)
I have a question, is this dawless?
Hey! Tracks are directly recorder from PO 👍
