    Since I’ve started collecting POs (that’s when we’re still cheap) I’m only missing the Arcade, Rick and Morty, and the robot. They are not worth what people are asking now, but I’ve expanded my rhythm section with an RD-9, a Drumlouge, and Roland SH-4D. I already had the DR-880 the DR-770 a Yamaha multi 12, and an Integra 7, also Kontact 14 Collectors. The point is, with all that I still use the POs! They work excellent as oscillators that can be shaped and filtered with my Eurorack, semi-Modular’s, and AUM. So if anyone else is in the same situation, don’t spend a stupid amount of money to complete the collection! I know you’re probably thinking damn, you spent a ridiculous amount of money on yours! Exactly! Honestly I can shape the Factory into any sounding want. Please learn from my mistakes! If you want to build a home studio and you have one PO, learn to shape that! I still keep my eye out, in pawn shops and stuff, but don’t pay these ridiculous prices, and I suggest you don’t sell them either! I saw a Rick and Morty on Reverb for $575! Use them enjoy them! Wonderful video! I enjoyed it!

      I do use some of the internal punch in effects on both. Some retrigs, the sweep filter on the PO-20 and on the robot, when I change instruments, I actually add in a filter (that's also included) to smooth out a bit the harshness of the whiny lead.

    • @Miniclash
      @Miniclash  2 роки тому

      @@bumboclat Hey glad to see you back! Nah, it's real easy. Well, kinda. But no Music Theory involved, other than musical "common sense" I guess? You'll realize that when using the chord engine of the PO-20, using either A or Am as your starting point, you can progress from there in direct connection or diagonals to chord progressions. Feel free to experiment and find patterns you end up liking. I like to cycle 4 chords, but YMMV. And as for the robot, as long as you keep starting in A or Am on the robot, you will always more or less be in the same scale and will have no "wrong notes" so to speak you can play.
      Hope it helps, don't hesitate if you have questions :)
