I appreciate the demonstrator struggling through this; that’s exactly how I’m going to look when I attempt it.

And considering he was performing on sloping, uneven ground, he did very well. Not what I would recommend for a beginner.

The world isn’t flat or level. He did great for getting thrown in cold.

Use a lighter kettlebell. It's about the movement, not lifting heavy

For someone who loves single-leg balance exercises, this is pure gold.

At 3:40 random mace user enters from stage right, sees Mark Wildman and retreats off screen.

It would be really cool if Mark did a video on communication. After binging a bunch of videos I find that Mark has efficient, seamless and impactful communication skills. It's not random, it's practiced just like his movements are. I wish I understood better how he became such a great purveyor of information so that I can do the same in my life.

It’s like he’s an engineer. Extremely efficient, minimal mythos / fitness mystique.

In this regard I think he’s in the Unconcious Competent 😂 category since he’s been doing it as a trainer for a long time however I don’t think he can articulate how to do it.

Good job doing that on the side of a hill👏

This was excellent! Thank you! I did a few of these on each side slowly and carefully and I'm surprised that I'm a little bit out of breath.

Great stuff as always. It all seems a bit clearer when you are coaching someone, esp on complex movements, than you doing it yourself. Would like to see you have a demonstrator doing heavy club work esp mills

I do your staggered deadlift - difficult enough and my knee creaks, however this is the real test of core stability…..

This thing is no joke; I tried it and I'm stumbling all over it. You're already off balance standing on one leg, and adding weight to the unsupported side makes it pretty awkward (putting the weight on the standing leg is much easier because now you're more balanced). Definitely adding this to my rotation.

No joke, indeed! Standing on one leg and lowering down to grab the kettle bell was an adventure in and of itself! 🤣

My favorite kettlebell exercise. I've done this before with a mace too but now that I think about it, I'd be curious to see how the coaching cues evolve for doing it with a clubbell.

I’m going to start a series with my best friend who is a professional, son, performer, professional circus, performer, and professional dancer on why lockout is important in 2024

Could this be converted into a single leg romanian deadlift for equal effect? Or is it necessary to keep it as a standard deadlift?

Nice! As always, your detailed explanations are brilliant. I do this Kettlebell movement as a variation on the flip-side of the bosu-ball. That really challenges stabilisation! And is very advanced.
But personally I prefer when you just present your content by yourself. It feels more like a one-on-one PT session with Mark … as you’re a character who fills up the screen with your presence…
…and considering how Mark, you’re an advocate for not needing to wear “special clothing” for training you promptly bring onboard someone who is head-to-toe in “special clothing”! >____

Mark, I start P.T in the morning for the right hip replacement. I can wait to show Dawn my physical therapist this when she asks me what are your goals after P.T 🦵💪👊

I’m currently training a stunt performer who just had a full hip replacement. She is a circus, performer and professional dancer as well as a stunt trainer, and I have full confidence in her ability to retain or regain her previous level of performance.

Really interesting. I do single leg Romanian deadlifts and balance is always an issue, but I’m getting less shaky. Tried this and it is definitely more challenging on the balance, which is great. I did get a lot of pain in my left knee, though. Im going to incorporate a few of these in my sessions.

Doing it on the slope is a nice touch to make it just that much more difficult. Nice.
