    That’s not Queen Elizabeth, it’s an impersonator named Jeannette Charles and that’s not the queen of soul Aretha Franklin, that’s the band Queen.

      I was going to say the exact same thing. Jeannette Charles recently died at the age of 96. This was a publicity photo for the band Queen, which I remember at the time. Obviously the real HM Queen Elizabeth II would not have been available. Jeannette Charles did quite well in her role as 'not the real Queen ' and the marvellous band Queen were also not a real Queen. But that was the whole point. 😊

      My favorite with error is the Queen meeting the Queen of soul, I fail to see a colored woman in that picture. Aretha Franklin was a beautiful soul singer, ummm Freddie Mercury ehh not so much but with that said Queen, the band rocks!!! Some of the errors in this video are laughable!

      My dad got me one in 1968. Orange fleck paint, it had a fine sparkle, and white banana seat. Problem was it was too large for me at age 6. A few really bad mishaps and it was put in the back shed. Age 9 and about 4” taller, I took it out, dusted it off and in an hour I was doing fine. I put many more miles on it after that!

It only cost me a front tooth and 2 broken ankles but I learned how to do it!!! Wow, the memories that just brought back! I was a beam of sunlight streaking down the road UNTIL my bike got ended by a truck hitting me on it one summer afternoon. Never had another bike quite like that one, definitely the end of an era.

      That was not picture of a Jewish woman being chased and attacked. When the war ended, locals went after women who had “collaborated” with enemy/German soldiers. Many were beaten, stripped, and had their heads shaved. Back then, folks didn’t play around when handing out justice. Many of these sympathizers caused unconscionable suffering among their neighbors and in their communities.

      That is why when you see hate fostering to the point where people are open with it in society, in the masses, you have to take a stand against it. Just like we see with the Palestine madness, even though they think they are trying to help those in Gaza there is serious hate bleeding from these people at Jewish people today and they are not shy about it at all. How much longer until we see things like that happening again? Same with the hate being fostered against "white people" for the sins of some in the past that have nothing to do with those today. It is outward hate in the open that people tolerate in media and everywhere. How much longer before it becomes more than that? I don't understand why people can't live in peace. I never will. why blame for a past people can't control now. All we can do is look to the future and try to be better but people are regressing today at astonishing rate.

      Yes, and apparently Jesse James, Doc Holliday and Billy the Kid were all in one gang believe it or not 😆
      Or maybe he meant Doc Scurlock instead of Doc Holliday. Not sure who he mistook for Jesse James since I don't know this picture (Dick Brewer?). There was a Jesse Evans involved in the Lincoln County war, but he was on the opposing side. Also the one on the very left rather seems to be Jose Chavez y Chavez since Henry McCarthy (alias Billy the Kid) looked distinguishly different. Anyway - its quite hard to tell who's who on this picture since the only known pictures of members of the Regulators only exist either in bad quality or from many years later, showing them as old men.

      @JosipRadnik1 11 днів тому

      @@user-wk7bl2kp5f That might be, but Jesse James, Doc Holliday and Billy the Kid were not members of the same gang. I don't think that Jesse James ever was in New Mexico and Doc Holliday also had nothing to do with the Lincoln County war or the regulators. There was a guy called Doc Scurlock who was a member of the regulators. Billy the Kid famously was one too, but I don't think he's on that picture. Apart from that, both Jesse James and Doc Holliday were many years older than Billy the Kid and already seasoned war veterans when their rise to fame (or infamity) began while the regulators really were a bunch of kids who were barely old enough to legaly order a beer in a saloon at the time of the Lincoln county war. So while that could really be a photo of some of the regulators, I don't think it shows any of the persons mentioned.

    At minute 12:30, there is a photograph said to be of "Cowboys in a saloon." -- IT IS NOT! Those fellows are merely "ranch hands." Photographs of REAL Cowboys are very rare! The reason why is a very interesting bit of Americana. During the Civil War, much feared Confederate guerrilla Col. "Charley" Quantrill would take his "boys" south from Missouri to much warmer Texas to avoid those COLD Missouri winters. While down in Texas Charley would have his boys endlessly practice "Horse and Revolver" games like "How Many Bullets Can You Put Into a Man's Chest Sized Target While Galloping By On a FAST Horse?" Once that game was mastered, the target would be reduced to a target the size of a man's head and the game was played until the boys could hit it every time. Then Charley put two "eyes" on the head sized target and the boys played the game until they could put a bullet between those eyes EVERY TIME! This was the famous "Right between the Eyes" Quantrill shot! From the Mexican Vaqueros Charley's boys learned rope and lasso tricks. Back in Missouri Charley's boys used those Rope and Lasso tricks to rid the world of many a Yankee Cavalry patrol by stringing themselves out and hiding on each side of a lonely trail through the forest. They would then begin lassoing the last Yankee cavalryman in the column -- effectively breaking his neck - until NONE were left! There are many a "haunted" woods in Missouri because the locals saw the Yankees ride in and NO Yankee rode out! And NOT a sound was heard! Not a body found! SPOOKY! After the war Charley's boys down in Texas noticed that there was a lot of WILD "Longhorn" cattle - owned by no one and, therefore FREE for the taking. That could be sold at the nearest railhead stock yard (Dodge City or Abilene, Kansas) for a TWENTY DOLLAR GOLD coin or about $2500.00 in today's money! So, Charley's boys rounded up hundreds of those WILD Longhorns and drove them a thousand miles through thunderstorms, rivers in flood, hostile Native Americans and anything else that got in the way, to the stockyards and SOLD them. Now flush with gold money, the locals at first tried take advantage of what looked like mere teenage boys (Jesse James was 17 and far from the youngest) with big pistols they probably did not know how to use. After a few Quantrill shots right between the eyes. The local thugs understood very quickly that a "boy" who could faster than a heartbeat, properly place a bullet in the brain of a 2,000 pound Longhorn, could also make very short work of them! Very QUICKLY, word got around that it was an EXCELLENT idea to be very civil with those "Cowboys", who brought them Longhorn cows all the way from Texas! In the words of Old Pap, my great grandfather, "It did not take long for Bill Hickok to figure out that the best way to stay healthy and above ground was make certain that the gambling was HONEST, the whiskey WAS NOT WATERED and the girls were CLEAN!" Old Pap's dad, my GG-grandfather was a Genuine COWBOY! I have a picture of him taken in Abilene, Kansas before !870. There were VERY FEW real Cowboys and ALL of them rode with Charley Quantrill. There are MILLIONS of wannabees

    I normally enjoy your fascinating photos and commitary of this channel, however your editor on this episode shows photos bouncing up and down so the viewer only gets a brief second of the focal point of the photo. If the photos aren't bounced they are throbbing larger to smaller to simulate movement. Please don't do this annoying manipulation. Your photos and copy are fascinating enough to hold your subscribers attention.??

    HBO just used the hangars and airfield of Canadian Forces Base Borden Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 as the background for the latest of sagas for IT and Pennywise. Hi to the extra Ken from our War Museum in Oshawa Ontario Canada Ken was a driver of one of the Jeeps that were also used in making the movie. Title is unknown to me just yet 😊
