- It’s not always you come across your favorite famous people. Some of them you might never get to see in your lifetime. So much for wishful thinking. No need to fret. Thanks to the inventors of photography, we can still get a glimpse of how these people lived their lives in very rare captured images of famous people.
You do not always get to see them like they are in these rare photographs. So feast your eyes on some of the photos we have selected of Hollywood stars, political figures, artists and other famous people in some of their casual or candid moments.
I see everybody caught their Ringo Starr mistake, but they also didn't realize @6:09 that's Tobey Maguire next to Leonardo DiCaprio.
They also missed a young Demi Moore @6:40 with Willis, and in the last pic with Tom Hanks is Peter Scolari. No doubt a promo shot for “Bosom Buddies”.
That’s not Toby McGuire. That Jeremy Miller. They were both on Growing Pains
I checked the comment s before I said anything I caught it too
Kate Moss with Johnny Depp too and you're right that is Tobey McGuire.
@@duchovny2 I actually checked and it is Tobey Maguire! Him and Jeremy Miller were dead ringers for each other and both were friends of DeCaprio. You can tell its Tobey by the mole above his upper lip.
Miss February 1967 is my beautiful mother.
Shang Hunter - she is beautiful. Very much so.
I would never have picked that as a 1960's photo. Maybe it's just me.
Beautiful woman
How cool is that! 🌺
I apologize for the thought I had.
As a registered Beatlemaniac I gotta say it [or add to the chorus]: at 7:15 That's Ringo Starr on the drums, not Paul [though he can play drums, as well as just about any instrument imaginable]. Paul was the Beatles left-handed bass guitarist, co-wrote most of their songs with John Lennon, and brought George Harrison into the band when George was 14. And with that, I've also named the group's four members.
George was a bit older than 14 wasn’t he? He was born in 1943, so he would have been 17, or something like that.
@@weswright3187:
John and Paul met on July 6, 1957 and Paul bright in George thereafter. George wouldve been 13-14.
Tom Yosh picked it up..... and he's right. Ringo at the drums not Paul
The one with Bruce Willis and some guy with his back to the camera Well the lady in the background is actress Demi Moore, Bruce his wife at the time
The picture of David and Angie Bowie was with their SON Duncan Jones, aka "Zowie Bowie" David didn't have a daughter until after he married Iman.
Young woman with Johnny Depp is supermodel Kate Moss.

Die Fotografen ehren die alten Künstler. Sensationelle Fotos. Danke fürs hochladen.
Those of us who were young in the 60s and 70s are getting on in years now. "Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end"! Remember that hit song back then?? "Time doesn't stand still"...what my late mom used to always say! Tell me about it! smdh Thanks for sharing~
Yes those were the days best years of my life.
That's not Paul McCartney on the drums,,, that's RINGO STAR
Right
@@VladRonin Not having fun either.
It’s Ringo Starr ......
Just proves that these clickbait bits of fluff are thrown together by people who just read the script and have no real idea of the subject, blame the editor!
I think that is Sally Kellerman to Michael Caine’s immediate left. She was an Oscar winner for MASH, back in ‘71.
That is Sally Kellerman.
I remember Kellerman from the 80s Rodney Dangerfield movie, Back to School
Miss February was a stunner.
That was not Paul McCartney drumming; that was Ringo.
what a mistake to make lol
Definitely not Paul McCartney on drums, Ringo!
Yeah thats what I said and he left out Demi .
How could they be so obviously wrong?
The photo at 10:18 is (L to R) Mary Pickford, D.W. Griffith, Charlie Chaplain and Douglas Fairbanks, Sr., the founders of United Artists, 1919...NOT "Britain's othe iconic and famous people." Mary Pickford was Canadian; D.W. Griffith and Douglas Fairbanks Sr. were American.
Thank you-I thought that was definitely Fairbanks Sr., and Pickford.
Good catch.
10:18 is the end of the video--I assume you mean 7:30 (where "Chaplin" is misspelled)
Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club yes thank you I thought so too, also Mary & Douglas were married ?
Nice Amazing Shots! Thanks for Sharing!
Y
In the photo with Michael Jackson, I like how they added next to Paul McCartney's name "of the Beatles" bc otherwise we wouldn't know who he was
I guess I'm not the only one who spotted Ringo and not Paul. :-)
AndyB I was just about to write in about that one. And the omission of Demi Moore’s name on a picture with Bruce Willis
AndyB ... No, just the only one that felt compelled to point it out.... Just kidding. That was a good catch, but what the heck made 'em think that was Paul in the first place? And they spelled Elvis's name wrong.
God, do we have lives at all?
Nope, also obviously not into Paul McCartney as they had to mention he was in the Beatles, like nobody knows! Noticed Demi Moore in the Bruce Willis shot too, no mention!
AndyB I noticed it too.
It could only mean one thing, The people creating the videos are getting younger, and we are all getting older. OH NO! Nice video with great photos. TY
6:32 Do you seriously think you have to tell us what band Paul McCartney was in?
Edit: Maybe you do since you can't tell Paul McCartney from Ringo Starr. 7:13
LOL!
Well, he WAS also in Wings (or, Paul McCartney & Wings--not sure what the official name of that band was). We need clarity & precision here!! ;)
There are young people today who sadly don't know who Paul is.
07:09 ¨The Beatles concert, Paul McCartney having fun drumming¨. 🤣 😂 😂 😂
1:50 Debbie Harry. My first Rock-N-Roll crush.
@1:32 the reaction on the man to the left is priceless when he saw her underwear lol
Andy Liu Back then that was a big deal.
@ 0:08 sitting next to Caine is the actress Sally Kellerman (from the movie MASH.)
Barbara Parkins is on his right.
Shame on you for not naming Peter Thomas Scolari along with Tom Hanks on the last photo. He is best known for Bob Newhart and bosom buddies where those two were the main actors.
Seems everyone wants to find fault with this video. I loved it. Brings back lots of memories.
Your right! Surprised to see Jimmy Page, I had such a crush on him!
Just because someone "finds fault" with it (something minor) doesn't mean they don't "love" it too.
The photos are quite interesting. Fixing the misspelled names and misidentified or omitted persons would be a worthwhile enhancement to the video.
Everyone sees the obvious errors, LOL!
There are 2 people in the shot of Tom Hanks. The man on the right is Peter Scolari . They starred in "Bosom Buddies", a hilarious sitcom made in the early 80s. Peter Scolari was just as funny and talented as Tom Hanks.
Good job with the wording! The way you arranged it makes more sense to me, much easier to read.
Don't know whether this was intentional or not. Many missed identities and omissions, Should do better research before publishing.
Girl with typewriter is Alice Denham, who was the PMOM July 1956. Worked for the NYT as an editor & passed away in 2016.
Heroes to Zeros. Good show MysLife. Ms Margaret still a babe.
"Girl with typewriter and a smoke",Clarice Lispector,Brazilian writer
Absolutely gorgeous
Belíssima!
@7:15 ➤ That is Ringo (Richard) Starr (Starkey) on the drums.
Sally Field was gorgeous back in the day.
As for Ann Margret, she was an absolute stunner and still is for her age. I bet Elvis regretted not marrying her instead of Priscilla.
Tom Hanks with Peter Thomas Scolari "Bosom Buddies". Theme song Billie Joel's "My Life" sung by Gary Bennett...great childhood memories!
2:29 is Howard McGhee on Trumpet. Miles is playing Piano. Guitarist Brick Flagle is sitting, but I don't know who the young cat that's standing is? Photo by William P. Gottlieb; NYC 1947.
do more research. That was Ringo playing drums not Paul McCartney. That's not David Bowie's daughter, it's his son, Zowie (Duncan Jones).
These photos were unique, I loved them, where the heck did they come into your position, I look at these sites. Your photos are great , different
Possession
The right the last name is Chaplin, no chaplain...Good pictures. Also, the one next to Hanks is Peter Scolari, a supporting actor best known for his role in the Newhart series. Along with Depp is famous model Kate Moss.
Steve McQueen was the epitome of cool 😎
Ringo on the drums and several other inaccuracies. Just saying. Thanks for putting these together
7:09 not Paul. He's Ringo.
This person that put on the video must be a youngster. Got that one wrong and 8:59 that is David Bowie with his first wife (Angie) and his son (Duncan Zowie Jones) not his daughter
@@wildbill5670 Paul on drums? The guy might be young, but still that's pretty bad. Lol..
Nice pics!
I wonder why you didn’t identify Demi Moore with Bruce Willis? Also, that was Ringo Star not Paul McCartney on the drums. Just a friendly FYI. Great channel! Thanks!
Ringo Starr. Was Charlie Chaplain, Charlie Chaplin's pastor?
Ringo also cofounded Black Sabbath with George Michael
Some famous, some unknown and at least two (Fidal and Che) that are infamous.
That Photo of "Paul McCartney" drumming is Ringo
@4:00: That's a *badass* first car for a teenager!
Blows away my first ride ('83 Camaro).
My first "ride" was an '83 Toyota Tercel, LOL
Ringo Star was the drummer, this makes one wonder about the accuracy of other identifying content. I enjoyed the memories nonetheless. Thanks!
Ringo Starr played the drums for the Beatles. That's not Paul McCartney!
Thanks for repeating the same comment that's already been made here 10 times...yawn.
@@not-so-smartaleck8987 Thanx for commenting on the 10 repetitions of the same comment! LMFAO!
Paul played drums a couple of times, so did George
@@lazyishardwork yeah but that aint him in the picture and yeah mr not-so-smart- aleck i made it 11 times yawn yawn
Cheryl Forfang True, but Paul did play drums on many Beatles' album-tracks, simply because he wanted them plated certain ways on certain songs he wrote. Ringo himself confirmed this.
McCartney looks a lot like Ringo in that photo at 7:15! hahahaha!
for the past 60 yrs things changed a lot
СПАСИБО БОЛЬШОЕ
The drummer is Ringo, not Paul!
I guess you didn't realize that was Toby McGuire bowling with Di Caprio.
Let me categorically deny that the supposed picture of Paul on drums (7:10) is him. The quite distinct fat triangular nose, among other features are certifiably Ringo's. Check out the following picture of Paul's (in comparison) rather slender nose!!
Trevor Holden , The drummer in the picture is definitely Ringo!
@@patriciabarkley735 No argument here Patricia, that's Mr Starr, exactly what my note said! Categorically hehe!
What, you didnt like Peter Scolari?
I guess that pic (with Hanks) was associated in some way with the TV show Bosom Buddies.
Nope, that's Ringo Starr on the drums.
Yes what the heck, Ringo!!!!
really rare
Linda
Good video, but should've also recognized Peter Scolari at 9:59.
Young Diane Lane .... Beautiful .... will always be in love with her .....
6:38 I wonder why Demi isn't mentioned in the caption.
that's Tobey Maguire with Leo :-)
Somewhere in the roll call of celebs, I just realized I didn't care all that much. Sorry. When all is said and done, they were just people. Lived a while. Did stuff. Passed on. And there was a time when I thought some of them were really, really important.
7:29 None of the people in this photo with Charlie are British. Left to Right: Mary Pickford, D.W. Griffith, Charlie and Douglas Fairbanks. This was taken with them looking at the contract they signed on the day they founded United Artists.
8:59 This picture is of David Bowie, his first wife Angie and their son, Duncan.
The beatle is Ringo Starq
6:41 you forgot Demi Moore on the left of Bruce Willis
9
I didn't even notice Demi; I was wondering if Bruce Willis was slow-dancing with that guy...
2:38 beautiful !!
How could you mistake Ringo Starr for Paul McCartney?
I hate smoking...just hate it.
Me too.
@S. Williams I put down cigars and picked up a crack pipe, best LIFE ever.
And you don’t have to remind people that Paul McCartney was in the Beatles either.
Wow! Sally Field, What a Cutie Pie! Talk about an "All-American Girl" type....!
6:29 Just “Paul McCartney” is sufficient... no need to add “of the Beatles.” Though you could have added Jimmy Page’s last name on his pic. You think everyone knows Jimmy’s profile, but no one knows Paul McCartney straight on? 😂
It could have been another Paul McCartney. Or not.
Ahem, McCartney was also (later) in Wings... Beatles or Wings--we need clarity here! ;)
@ 6:10 I guess Toby McGuire isn't famous anymore (he's the guy on the left.)
OMG, they're bowling! How un-Hollywood.
2:00 How quaint, a pay phone! (Oh yeah, and Clint.)
Dude that's ringo . I was finding your text odd at times but after ( paul on drums ) i can clearly see you have not bothered to study any history regarding these photos .
The drummer wasn’t Mc Carney but Ringo Starr !!
Yes. How DARE you make a MISTAKE! I don't think you KNOW where you are Mister, because HERE we do NOT ALLOW #*$&@* MISTAKES!!! ..EVERYONE, this ... this, DUMB ASS has just made a MISTAKE! Come, let us all take turns commenting on his stupid MISTAKE..Whaah HaHa, Whaah HaHa. I'm going to GLARE at him in ANGER, .\/. {Hey, what if I did THIS... (.\/.) ...BOOBS! I made Boobs...awesome.} See that stupid person, YOU sit around making MISTAKES while I make things HAPPEN. You SUCK, but I'm Friggin AWESOME. I'm going end by booing you. BOO! BOO!
@@MissSicBitch thank you...i've always wanted to see the *perfect people* get scolded for their relentless *perfectness*
The guy standing next to Leonardo DiCaprio I believe is Toby Maguire.
David Bowie and SON not daughter
Some great pics and a few not so great and time to read much better but, lets add a few more seconds. There is nothing but time. And it didn't look like Paul playing the drums.
Not even a little bit...
Girl with typewriter and a smoke is Clarice Lispector
first picture-Sally Kellerman on Michael Caines left
FYI, that wasn't Paul on the drums it was RINGO!!!!
Practically everyone has a cigarette going
@7:40: ...thought that was Mick Jagger's mugshot at first.
In all probability this collection has been compiled by someone in the U.S. Not just because the shots are in mainly U.S. settings but because Paul McCartney has to be identified as being a member of the Beatles. Reminds me of how when viewing a picture of the Eiffel Tower, Yanks will tell us it is in Paris, France and Big Ben is in London, England! Gosh, who would have thought..!
this is great to see some people back in the day as well as this is all so funny with some of the comments some say this and some say that and whatever people are saying it seems that they are doing the research that they are asking for this person to do but now that everybody has corrected him he has overwhelming information on all and we'll be able to correct this in due time if they wanted to of course I did not recognize Demi Moore then had to go back and check on a few other things to but all-in-all I enjoyed watching all this especially Sally Fields
That was Ringo drumming not McCartney. But in general a lot of missed opportunities to identify other celebs.
0:32 Beautiful.
8:39. That's Kate Moss
At 8:45, the mention Johnny Depp but ignore Kate Moss.
I love you mysterious live
❤️ thanks
Ringo was playing the Drums not Paul Lol
David Bowie with his first wife and daughter ?? No , that's his son with long hair !
Demi Moore was in pic with Bruce Willis; they were married at the time. The fellow with Tom Hanks was his cast mate on Bosom Buddies - Peter Scolari - famous in his own rite - who went on to star on The Bob Newhart show at the inn in - was it Vermont? Scolari is also notable director. Several others below have covered other sloppy omissions. You need to do more homework before you post.
@ 6:36 That's Demi Moore on the left (she was married to Willis at the time.)
7:16 That's Ringo Starr, not McCartney
Ringo on the drums, sheesh
"McCartney" drumming at a Beatles' concert? Sheesh. 7:11
Barbara Parkins & Sally Kellerman with Michael Caine. Also Johnny Depp & Kate Moss.
Got a couple of things wrong in the descriptions of the photo’s my friend!
