It was expected from a UCT professor. And the law does not prevent Dr. Hlophe from being appointed to the JSC. I am slowly loosing respect for Professors.

Disagreeing with her doesn't mean she is wrong... If your legal mind is well and legitimately intact should have allowed you to see that the case before court is not parliamentary portolio committee but JSC which allows to adjudicate it because there is no judicial overreach to prevent the courts to pronounce on the matter as there no interference in relation to the principal of separation of powers.
So relax and wait for the court to vindicate you if you're less vested to understand legal matters of this kind
I am slowly losing respect for Professors, it looks like the title is given based on friendship and factionalism. Let alone that professors themselves do not inspire confidence anymore. Just my opinion.

Secondly, the case is appealed and is still to be finalised by the CC.
The NA defeated the ends of justice by empeaching him whilst the case is not yet finalised yet!
