Seriously though, had a blast doing this run and was a really great run for a pretty brutal category, even with that bit in the middle that lost some time because of the boss trolling. Pretty much everything was first try too. I know Scoots and I were really happy we both got Nightmare first try with the fast strat and we didn't need to use the safe strat.

this is coming to the switch they teased it when they dropped GB/GBC and GBA for switch online i just hope they dont patch the american version and give us hard difficulty lots of bugs and glitches in the american copy only

Hercules, just wanted to say - don't beat yourself up! You can clearly run the game just had some bad luck. Enjoyed the run regardless and you guys made a lot of money for charity so great job.

I mean, 1% hard difficulty is pretty brutal. So no wonder that bad rng will be able to just ruin even the best runners

Holy shit yeah i love metroid fusion! I never really got far in any of the others, generally i get stuck at one point and then lose interest. Metroid fusion was the only metroid game i finished, and it's still one of my favourite games to this day.

I finished the game a long time ago.
It was a game i initially hated, coming from playing megaman and castlevania games, i started to love the game by its storytelling, gameplay and its horror.
I remember i took so long not figuring out how to do the spinning jump attack thing.

I played Metroid Fusion so much as a kid on my GBA. I never finished it tho because the end boss fight is so hard and I don't wanna ruin for myself now and finish it. Metroid Fusion GOAT GBA titles.

That's really interesting. I found that to be the easiest boss in the game as a kid but the spider boss to be the hardest by far

Let's be real, a full power Samus would absolutely dominate in the DOOM universe. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if her suit could even incorporate some of the tech in that universe as well

i always had a harder time with ridley, nightmare and the spider, for some reason the SA-X and the metroid at the end seemed really easy to me
