One of the most popular theories about the show was that it was only an extremely elaborate build-up to a "horse walks into a bar" joke that would close out the series. Even though we didn't get this in the end (thank god), this is close enough!
Kevin T. Landry that would’ve ended on the saddest and realist way possible. Even after bojack tried getting better he just couldn’t do it and goes to a bar to drink. Although it would’ve been very clever it would’ve been such a sad ending.
Well it's built on the joke Bojack says when he does stands ups. Do you get it? Cause he is a horse? Get it? And horses have long faces? And can't stop having long faces cause that's their nature get it? Do you get the joke? A joke about horses that took 6 seasons? Cause its depression and that makes you have a long face. But horses also have long faces. In case it wasn't clear. But you got it right?
How would they even do that? Just have two characters in the bar say "and the bartender said why the long face?" I don't think that would have worked very well. I think the biggest thing they could have done for fan service was end it an episode earlier, simple as that.
@@dwaynethecockjohnson8454 I feel like that was perfect. At the end, he accepted that he was going to die, but took that acceptance away from him by bringing him back to life just to send him to jail. In a way, his punishment wasnt finished, and death would have been an easy way out for him.
