- I migrated my sculpting addon JSculpt tools to Blender 3, fixed some bugs and added new features for retopology and the shrinkwrap modifier.

for the default retopo-setup would be good to have a mirror-modifier + subdiv- modifier too.

hey jaynam have you thought of adding extract alphas option like you hover over a part of the mesh which has detail on it and extract it make it a alpha and you can use it on other parts of the mesh and have you thought adding some c++ to the addon
Both ideas already exist in my mind :-) I like the "make alpha from sculpted details" like the ZBrush feature but I have to analyse if I get everything I need for this feature from the Blender Python API - but thx for the input, have it on my list.

Hi, no restrictions.
I tried to use this but the Add Object mode is always grey out, and the short cut Shift-Ctrl-A keeps adding a Array modifier instead of Mirror modifier. help?
it is behaving like you described now... not sure why, but blender is cooperating this time around. it's probably my own user error, please ignore this! sorry my knee jerk reaction!
It would be useful to join objects without leaving the sculpt mode
Thx for the idea, will have a look. Perhaps by joining the objects selectd in the outliner, will see if I get this information in the addon.
@@JayAnAm It would be great! Thanks for your answer :) Working in the game industry I think in blender sculpting is a bit underrated as a concepting tool. The ability of building all in sculp mode would make the creative proces much more smooth and efective.
p.s. Have you any project about an in-sculpt line trim feature like this: ua-cam.com/video/FOdVdgiAHWo/v-deo.html? The "Line Project" in blender does the same but modelling complex objects rarely requires a straight cut...
Hey! I found an issue: Blender 3.0 crashes when i Ctrl+Z right after i created an object (using Jsculpt, Ctrl + Left Click).
