That man never recovered from the trauma of losing his daughter, and he blamed himself. He thought his daughter was better alive and a junkie than being dead, cold with no one
Ghostwriter14 That’s literally the SVU format. They introduce a side “good” character early on and have viewers thinking they’re just a red herring, until we get to the mid/end and you find out they orchestrated the whole thing.
@@Ghostwriter14 Casey's comment when she saw the judges was priceless too: Casey: This is like that nightmare I have all the time, but in my dreams I'm naked. Male judge: (Without taking his eyes out of his cards) And we all happy you are not naked this time, cousel.
Well done! The idea of the misguided judge who is delusional enough to thin he is actually doing the right thing by allowing the girls to be trafficked so they" could get their fix" works! Even if "you saw it coming " (which I did) it's still a good piece of writing. Lately this show has been "touch and go" with some of the episodes but this one was very good!
Yes it is and yet that's the great thing about shows like this. You really connect so much with these characters it's just ashame when a character leaves or gets killed. I mean I felt the emotions when each of these detectives in any shape or form leave
I love Mariska she’s talented and caring part of the reason she plays Olivia Benson so well is because she’s a amazing beautiful caring person in real life just like Olivia ❤️
He was doing the wrong thing for what he believed was the right reason...that's what I like about L&O SVU...how many of us would be in his place? Maybe not to the point of trafficking girls, but doing the wrong thing for what we see as the right reason.
@@Clorgisclorg I hate to break it to you, but that covers about every human being. Everyone, at least once in their life (and if we’re honest, far more than once), has taken actions, or judged others based on what they believed was right for another person.
Wow, great acting. And by the way I know a lot of them think it, here in the UK as well, but "Judge" is not an anagram of "God", something a lot of them (and doctors) need to learn and never forget.
Yo I ain't never heard of John rothman until this episode but can I just say this scene he killed it talking about his guilt and reasoning for why he did what he did such an underrated scene as with a lot of these intense svu moments.
He ignored his daughter to the point she died. So in his mind if he kept them consistent he could help them off of it and live. His mind and heart was in pieces... In a sick way... he’s right...

Showing how on the surface what doesn't make logical sense with the reasoning even if the action is not necessarily a prefered one.. it's explainable as to the motivation. Sometimes reasoning isn't logical it's an emotional reaction .. much like when a person yells or starts to pace it's an outward physical language of the internal emotional language. Though pacing can mean many things. Sometimes it helps to clear the head.. I used it to keep myself focused while in mental health having to push out the lies they spoke.. trying to work through the inner frustration of what is really going on.. the concern for my kids.. the concern for myself.. concern for others.. who has was affected within this.. how the hell am I going to get out of here.. why won't they actually listen properly to me.. and talking myself out of needing a cigarette. I'm trapped can't do much so just pace at least I felt like I had some control and freedom because I was so wild inside .. I never physically lashed out at anyone but trust me had I.. I'd be in a jail cell. So self control yeah for the enormous anger I was going through.. they have no idea of the self control I showed in that place and despite what they think I did keep my mouth shut for the damage I could have said but it wasn't to my benefit

If there was a pro wrestling crossover we should thank Judge Kofax. If not for him Britt Baker would've od'd and she would've never gone on to be a D.M.D. and later The AEW Women's Champion.
I can respect that opinion for sure. Carisi was a really good character. Amaro seemed more genuine than me and I sometimes liked him more than stabler.
