    Hi Ryan if i can add my two cents, i believe someone might find it helpful. I completely agree as you expressed that to fully feel our lifeforce energy that one should be grounded in the body. What has helped me tremendously is grounding to mother Gaia with barefeet of course with gratitude, sending love to both father sky and mother earth. I imagine and feel love energy leave my heart chakra from the back to the front of my chakra launching and eventually hitting the core of the sun and the core of the divine mother one at a time. Being one with the holy trinity in that fashion with gratitude and love can become very powerful and i understand this is a practice handed down by Sri Yukteswar. Grounding is so important for healthy mind body and soul. Keep spreading the loving science of Kriya yoga my friend! Blessings and Namaste

      Also meditation or yoga in a fasted state especially after performing kriyas such as an enema and neti pot also work wonders. After becoming vegetarian has also helped me. Blessings family 🙏

      make sense my higher-self told me many time to ground, now telling clean the spinal passage for a free flow of energy.
      It' took a while to decode the dream :) lol.

    Thank you for sharing about trauma, the body does keep the score, somatic psychotherapy/hakomi therapy these types of body based counselling can be helpful to reclaim the body, in conjunction when safe the use of modalities such as craniosacral, Thank You 🙏

    Feeling the prana current of kundalini and the shakti of the spine for the first time is somewhat akin to a pregnant woman feeling a baby kick for the first time. "We've been talking about the baby theoretically all this time and, now honey, look! There it is, its kicking, there's that thing we've been talking about!"
    I also liken it to fishing on a frozen pond for the first time, sitting on the ground, and feeling a fish bump the ice from under the water. Its like, "woah there it is, its actually down there!"
    But yeah it takes a while, Ryan is right that visualization has alot to do with it. Its the painful thing about mystical powers, they require faith in the idea for them to be pulled out of you; unfortunately, many scientific minded people will try it at an arms length without believing it, their skepticism gives them every excuse to say "O well, looks like this is just more spiritual hogwash after all." (A scientific skeptic mindset is in fact a necessary consciousness tool in the world of mysticism, but it can't be the only one.)
    Whether you have faith or not, the folks who really get it are the ones who apply the practice without anticipation - as the Gita says, without thought of reward, just follow the edicts of wisdom. You aren't guaranteed that you'll feel the fish under the water and have that spiritual religious experience in this incarnation. But if you practice right, you'll definately at least catch some fish and reprogram some bad habits, even if it felt not like God, but yourself doing it. (I mean, who am "I" really, anyway...)

    i liked your tip about imagining what it would feel. like if you could do it. its also an nlp technique and i completely forgot about it. and it most certainly does work. thanks for that tidbit

    I mastered the art of Pilates as a teenager and one day practising discovered the mind body connection by focusing on certain muscles to keep still while working other areas of my body I started to control this with my mind I would recommend mastering Pilates and yoga first if your having trouble with body awareness once you feel that mind body connection by controlling it with your mind you can achieve anything with your imagination

    I have been practicing Kriya faithfully for a total of 6 years. But at most I only feel on occasion some tingling in the Muldahara. (I generally only feel the physical breath in the bronchial tubes, throat and nose.) My attention is on the spine and area between the brows with eyes lifted. I visualize the current. always hear OM. I like Tai Chi & QiGung practice and can feel energy in my hands and body.I have asked about not feeling the pran in the spine and have been told it doesn’t matter. Yet it would be nice to sense it to know the practice is producing results; plus I imagine it must be a soothing and blissful experience. So I will keep at it.

    for me it feels like a shiver.. sometimes my body even shakes a little bit when it's coming up. However I only feel it from the perineum to the solar plexus area, it doesn't go any further

    Obviously the issue is that most of these people haven't activated the seventh naval chakra. It's the link between the life force spinal tap energy and the pranic crown. It's like when Tai Lee from Naruto activated the forbidden seventh gate jutsu. That was symbolic of seventh naval chakra activation for spinal sensations.

    I can feel glimpses of it. More on the inhale. It disappears on the exhale. But I just started and so I'm ok with this.

    1:40 Huge red flag! That's the worst possible way to start your development .If you cant feel the effect even after spending some time on the practice--the method is flawed.PERIOD

      Bro i dont practice kria but in order something to flow... You must generate energy if you are wasting sexual emergy evey week... Stop losing energy and just meditate on hara one hour a day then go after 2 weeks and do kriya... You will see prana moving and you will see medidation deepen and jyoti light in third eye...mindes eye.

      I can understand your pain, I am too not a much visual person .
      Or wasted those imagination for sexual pleasure , Lol it's karma paying back I guess..
      I am sure one day we will get it, we have to pray to masters and keep trying.. good luck

    I am from India my problem is why I feel this current.i don't want this.whenever i am sad very sad depressed and iwant to cry I feel this current.then my emotions are released and thn i feel happy focused and energetic

    I started this practice about five weeks ago and it took around two weeks to start feeling it, especially as it moves up my spine, it's a shivering feeling. Moving back down not as much but I really feel it in my crown the most... that's very strong. I'm satisfied I'm doing it right.
