"babe wake up Esk8 NYC posted"
I love Meepo so much, they do great budget board, really excited by the new line ! Amazing giveaway, count me in ! Cheers
Thanks for the review!😊
This summer im trying to save up for a meepo v5, thanks for helping me with this design!
Great review and comparison - covered all I needed to know. :)
Great video man. That v5 looks beautiful, suck a perfect minimalist design. As it should 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I entered the giveaway!!! I have the Meepo V4S. I watched a lot of videos before I bought one. They are sooooo DOPE!!
Gotta love meepo boards so torque heavy 🔥
I think those wobbles are caused by defective pivot cups. I had some on my mini 2 er that were too "thin". Meepo replaced them with thicker ones. Great review!
finally. these boards are lacking on reviews and comparisons
Fr someone has to do it 🔥
Trying my luck maybe i won this time :D i am looking for my first eboard since 3 months, theres a lot of eboard that caught my eye. i like the mini 5 as well. its so portable. =)
Great video, appreciate the feedback on both boards.
Anytime bro
Awesome video bro
Thank you for the amazing review. I’m really looking at buying one of those for myself. I love in Montreal and I think it would be a great commute board. I hope I will be chosen for the giveaway!!!! Also, you said in you’re video that you were going to do a range test and you never did.
Glad to help! For the giveaway it already passed I usually pick the winner a month after the video release. Regarding the range I would get about 8 miles of fast riding with the Standard battery and 12miles with the ER battery. If your cruising around I’m sure you can get more range I just like to ride fast
much love man nice video, could def use a new board lol
Enter this first giveaway you could win some wheels 🔥
never won any giveaway 😂 hope i win
and keep it up with the content brother. ❤
I got the V5s LED remote with my V5 (the orange one). I was stoked at that.
I just ordered mine off the Meepo website extended range, and on the page it shows the V5 S remote. Did you order yours from Meepo directly? I’ll be so irritated if they don’t send the V5s remote. Because on the standard range it just shows the black remote no display. That was the main reason for me spending the extra hundred dollars was for the increased battery range and the V5 S remote.
@@2WheelShenanigans I got the good remote. Fingers crooked.
Thanks for you reviews. I'm choosing between both boards. I'm new to E-skate, I'll be riding just for fun, on paved paths and street bike lanes. They won't always be perfect, so I'm concerned about comfort in general, for shorter and longer rides. Initially I liked the aesthetic and portability of the mini, but I'm willing to go V5 if the comfort difference is very significant. What's your opinion on smoothness and comfort amongst the two boards? For reference I'm 6'2, 195 lbs. Thanks in advance for any feedback
The V5 definitely has more comfort than the mini. The mini is meant for portability
@@esk8nyc thank you for the quick reply. Would you say the difference is very significant?
Yes the V5 is definitely more comfortable to ride and more stable because you have more standing ground. The mini is meant more for portability
yooo i entered the giveaway
Nike should pay you a commission or at least sponsor you and your buddy in near future.🤩
Carving is smooth enough on my Meepo V4S but those honeycomb wheels make turning a nightmare. I could use those thinner wheels you're giving away
When you wear them down it feels nicer same thing when I had the Meepo cyclone wheels
@Esk8 NYC it does. Still got a couple miles but I've started to get much more comfortable
Great video man. How would you compare the v5 with the wowgo 2s max, im looking in to buying my first board and the 2s max is on the top of my list so far? Any other recomendations in this budget category? TY
I am actually working on it you might have to wait a bit 👍
@@esk8nyc Great to hear, looking forward to watching 😄
I’ve got 1200 miles on my backfires zealot s with no regrets. I would highly recommend. It’s only $550 right now since they just released a couple new models
@@Ihatecabinetmoths thanks for the recommendation mate, im sure that board is great but for me budget is 400-450 max so yeah something in that price range
@@edinsalihspahic5097 fair enough. If you still want to look into the aforementioned brand, their g2 is $379 with 11 mile range 187 wh battery🍻
Meepo v5 or backfire era/ g2. What do you guys think. I need it for commuting in the city and have been using a loaded icarus for a couple of years now.

i wish there was a comparison vs the tynee mini 2 vs mini 5
If I get a chance from Tynee I’ll make it 👍
@@esk8nyc it will definitely do numbers. There is a niche in this field. It’s definitely lacking . Thanks for your time.
The Meepos are incredible, enter me as well for the giveaway
I'm deciding between the v5 and the Mini 5. I've had a Boosted Mini X for some years now but I've grown tired of having to change out belts in addition to having stripped the screws to the belt cover.
I bought some replacement screws but they were the wrong length despite being advertised as Boosted replacement screws.
Basically, I am deciding if never having to change a belt again is worth the purchase of a Meepo. I have a budget of around 500 bucks but am not certain if the Mini 5 would be an upgrade. I would be happy if it were a lateral move with the benefit of never changing belts, but not if the ride is substantially rougher than the Boosted I already own.
I grew up skateboarding so I feel better on a regular sized board, however I keep being told that Long Boards are better for riding.
Anyone able to tell me how a Mini X compares to Mini 5, and how v5 compares to Mini 5?
V5 has more comfort, flex and stability on the road. Mini 5 is more compact and convenient for public transportation
@@esk8nyc thanks. Any word on how they stack up to mini boosted x? I'm not sure if I want to fix my board or get a new one
@@stafomosakez well the mini X is an OG board your better off getting a new mini board there’s so many brands these days that offer a cheaper, faster, and more reliable board
@@esk8nyc awesome. I'll probably but a new one because I don't like replacing belts. Wasn't sure if it'd be a downgrade
@@stafomosakez if you go for hub your definitely going to feel the road more since the rear motors are in the wheel and alittle less torque/braking compared to belts
how many hours does it last for the Meepo V5?
Depends on how many miles you ride
Can i win the helmet instead! saw a white one, me likes very much 😁
I will attempt to do a giveaway every video. Since this is the first one we’re starting off small 👍
I dead ass just got the v4 shuffle last month wtf../:
V4 shuffle is still a great board don’t be disappointed
rep shoes on the other kid
Not sure what this video recommends, but DO NOT BUY MEEPO. I have been a customer for 5 years, there ESC randomly stops working, causing extremely dangerous situations when you suddenly cant break! They used to be good with customer service, but after telling them about this issue they completely left me out to dry. The company has gotten too big it would seem, the days of dealing with a passionate skateboarder are gone. Completely profit driven with no support, and faulty dangerous boards. I have always recommended Meepo, but I will never buy from them again! Removing their sticker from my helmet as we speak, the only thing with their name on it that actually works.
They have gotten better, and if they were profiting they wouldn't innovate and make their own products lol
