Hi Jimmy. Do you do any courses on faults where you have actual wines with each fault for students to get acquainted on? I did buy these wine aroma bix that has faults but i havent found it as useful to know for sure volatile acidity or brett. Thanks
can you please help me to answer the situation I tried to open a wooden wine cork from a bottle of French rose but the cork was pushed down and floated inside the bottle. I have tasted the wine was not fault or lacking flavour but I am not sure the problem is form cork taint.

Hi - no this is a deteriorating cork that has lost its seal with the wine bottle. This will not cause a corked wine but more likely an oxidised wine
