- In this elden ring video I'm testing if any of the strongest bosses in elden ring can survive smithing master hewg. Consideing that hewg is a npc variant who is not supposed to fight I gave him a moveset made by a mixture of misbegotten skills and also gave him the same area scaling as Godfrey considering he survives until the very end of the story. Would be cool for sure to see him come back in the shadow of the erdtree DLC

@@Max-rz8brhe killed radagon and the elden beast through us, so really we wouldn’t have been able to kill them without him forging us the god killing weapon.

I love how you can hear, like, 7 different poise-breaks go off at once. poor girl doesn't even have knees to break but he still shattered her legs like a lego set
I laughed so hard at that good lord… but she came back with a vengeance that’s for sure
I'm not sure I've ever seen her be that agressive in phase 1 against a boss, Hewg really touched a sore spot there.
I wonder... How blacksmith Andre would fare in Elden Ring?
Master Hewg was so impressed with the Craftsmanship of the Magic Golem, he turned into a pacifist for a moment
This moveset is fine I just don't approve of his yell doing way more damage than his slow hammer strikes
that's the case with most enemies that have yells. it's fine in gameplay since it knocks away the tarnished but bosses that can't get the same treatment suffer from the full damage
Yeah the moveset is excellent but the damage on the shout is way too much
Or that he has a random strike that occasionally does 10k damage

@@EdwardShen I doubt it. maybe he buffed the overhead slam but the yell is just weird. plus, Hewg's not the only one with crazy damaging yells. The death bird also have this scream

My favorite part of Elden Ring is when Hewg said: “it’s smithing time” and smithed all over the lands between.

Is it intentional for some of his attacks to be way stronger than others? It feels kinda jank to see a sudden 8k when he was doing less than a thousand just moments before
Edit: and are those attacks strong because their tick rates aren't limited (like that one bleed dog)?
I agree. That jump attack doing 8k was definitely a bug. I think Hewg would have lost a lot of these fights if not for that
@@kingjensen8091 The answer is that the author directly copied ten of the ground smashing attack judgments. Originally, one hit to the ground dealt 600 damage. Now it's 6000 damage. The roaring also became stronger.
I love how sometimes he runs like Sonic the hedgehog, and other times he rolls like Sanik the drunk hog
a black smith's arms/muscles would be insane. not to mention his weapons would be OP at the start. SMASH!!!

I always felt bad for Hewg as he probably got enough mistreatment due to being a Misbegotten but then he was shackled to the Roundtable Hold by Queen Marika until he could craft a weapon built to slay a God.

@@The--BOSS Yes. The creator copied and pasted the attack judgment for this skill more than ten times. In other words, one hammer strike from him is equivalent to ten.

At the beginning Hewg really had to HAMMER some ideas into Gideon
Looks like that one jumping attack has that same bug that the infamous bleed dog had.
Ive never imagined a person jumping while speaking until now...

Only now I realized. Gideon says a man cannot kill a god. I have 2 theories now. First: He is a servant of the Golden Order. He IS all-knowing, the only thing ge doesn't know is your intentions. He tries to stop you because he knows you can destroy the world or change the Greater Will for the Dark Moon. You can also restore the Order, but as I said, the only thing he doesn't know is your intentions. He also probably knows he cannot kill you, which is why he gives his speech, hoping that will stop you, he had to try everything he could. And second theory, he might also be hopeless, because he probably never trusted Hewg as a misbegotten and therefore never got a godslaying weapon like we did

You know something I’ve noticed? Fortissax’s opponents are never affected by the tracking lightning discharges that happen when you stay under him too long. He might do a bit better in these fights if that did work. Could you figure out how to get it working?

You may call it luck that he used the exact right move at the perfect time, as any other move would have lead to Hewg's death, but a win is a win, and against Maliketh, even luck tends to not be enough.

Morgott shouldn't take poise damage during his phase transition imo. Also damn that yell is strong for something so fast
There's iron in your blood, and when Hewg is through with you, he'll pull his masterpiece from your corpse.
Good thing he prefers to sit by that anvil and pretend he can't break those chains, few would dream of taking away 1/4 of Rick's health bar, let alone achieve it
