Wait a minute. You can just leave your bike in the street without a bike lock in Norway? That’s amazing!
Maybe for a few hours in residential areas like this. Though sadly bike theft is fairly common in Stavanger, so personally I'd park it somewhere a bit more out of sight if you don't have a lock.

very beautiful! those houses are made of wood? I'm wondering how they were kept in such a good condition through time? where I live all the houses are made of concrete and bricks wood houses are considered to be unsafe on the long run. And now when I see these houses all of wood I m really curious about the way they maintain that wood to prevent damage in time.
