Great job. I've been concerned about adding and changing oil on my new resonate 32b.
Hopefully the area to add oil on my rig is similar to yours.
Thanks again. Stay safe.
I could be mistaken, but I would expect yours to be even easier! A little lower and more elbow room in there. Good luck!!
Good job! My doghouse comes off in 2 minutes so I always add oil directly to the top of the engine, so much easier. Thanks for the video.
Morning, guys. Just want you both to know that you're appreciated. Believe it or not, I've been a subscriber since you just got your Entegra. Watched every video. Look forward to them as very few, if any post as much as you.
Why do we watch?
You're both real, honest, normal, ethical folks. It's not always easy to find these days. Just like in the rv hobby-we enjoy being with like-minded people.
Thank you for what you do. We appreciate you both.
That's very kind to read and it makes it easier to continue making videos knowing they're appreciated and enjoyed! 🙂 Thank you!!
Great job! You made it look easy. Now that I see how easy it is, I may consider doing mine when it is time.
That is awesome, that's my goal! I'm sure you'll find it even easier than I've described!
Nice video, very helpful!
Glad to hear!
If you get the SX model drain plug, you will not need an extension; it is made for recessed drain pans like yours. Also, you need the SAS Safety Thickster gloves! The ones you've been using are worthless. I can get several uses out of one pair. They are great for automotive work, cleaning firearms, etc. Cheers!
Was there metal in the oil?
good job!
Thanks!!
Good morning guys ! Well that looked pretty easy. It must of been nice to have all the extra clearance to work 👍👍👍 I won’t have it so easy 😂😂
Good morning! It was very easy. Either jacks or those drive-up stands would be the way to do it for that beauty you have!
@@CozyLivingMachine Ya I’ll definitely have to lift her up 😂 I’m anxious to see if you’ll be able to get that valve thing to work 👍
did you ever get the right fumoto valve or extension for it? I ran into the same problem with mine.
I believe that this is what ended up working in the end: amzn.to/3zjv5sU
Harbor Freight is my friend, too. Least expensive place for rubber gloves, for sure. And us RVers use a lot of rubber gloves. 😉
Good point about the gloves, we've been going to Costco for ours and I never thought to check HF!
Is that the Fumoto drain valve? It makes the oil change less messy. 👍🏻
It is! That was my thinking, at least. We'll see if the adapter does the trick for us. 🤞
That is about the way I add oil to mine. It’s such a pain.
I'm glad it's not just me and it's not one of those things where I've overlooked something incredibly obvious. 🤣
Not an expert, but the V8 dog house comes off w 3 bolts and the oil fill is easy to access from above.
@@jamestimoney87 That was my first thought as well! Unfortunately, our dog house is trapped by a good amount of screws under one cover, then there is a piece under the radio and HVAC controls that also must be removed. They made it a nice puzzle to get out, and I have a few plans to simplify this in the future.
The nice thing about those fomoto valves is you can also attach a tube/hose to the drain and drain it directly into a container. It makes spills next to impossible! (In theory lol)
