no wayy!!! im from indonesia..sheeeshhh!!! ibl draft is on now!!!, cant wait to watch u play here... wow never thought u will be playing here... good luck
it's unfortunate you didn't get picked. since the IBL has lifted the limitation on foreigner height, all team are seeking for tall players above 2 meter to back up their paint area, that's why many of short foreigner didn't get picked eventually

Yes - it's exactly what I thought would happen. I think I mentioned it in the video. It makes sense though for the teams so can't be mad at it.
Hey I see that they are in the finals now, do you know when their season 2025 starts? Wanted to give my agent a heads up so he could enter me in the draft

They won't announce that until after the season is done. You should also try to apply in the TBL in Thailand. Although that will be a bit more difficult for a shorter PG like yourself.
Hello I know I’m late but I am a 14 year old basketball player who is entering their freshman year of high school, I am also Indonesian, is it realistic to enter the draft straight out of high school?

If you improved a lot - sure. But you could also play through their university system. I know it is very popular in Indonesia so that could another way to get some more years of development under your belt. I didn't start seriously playing basketball until 13-14 too.
is there website where agents are talking and you can send your stuff over …

That's a good question. I've been trying to find some sort of database of agents that exclusively deal with Indonesia - or are very well-respected there. But I haven't found anything yet. Unfortunately, a lot of it is word of mouth and networking.
Hey. I knew im late. I read all the draft picks for foreign players in IBL all they way to the 2nd rd. There's no you on that pick. But Its alright. Just like you said, there might some opportunitie in the middle of season if teams decide to pick you up. Also your friend Sameen Swint did not get pick as well evntho he played great last season. And last but not least IBL are not lower tier league in Asia. Id say their top 10 league in Asia. Other than Japan, China, Korea, The Philippines, Taiwan and Australia league. I cant think better league after that. 😇👍

Thanks for the comment and encouragement. Yes - I was shocked Sameen didn't get picked up! But I'm sure he will eventually get a chance as the season goes along. I was thinking of Asia as "EurAsia" - so that would include the Middle East. In that case I would say Indonesia falls outside the top 10 and would be in the mid-lower level. It is a great league though and will become even better with the height restriction now being lifted.
@ maybe team hv their own needs. Its not nesc the best player available but sometimes what the organization need right now to compete. Also i think they lift heigh restriction right now. There's couple 7 ft guy already drafted i checked that. And bout that. Israel maybe the better league but Theyre not really consider as Asia. so did Australian NBL. If you talk bout middle east There league are not really big and hype. Lots of empty seats dan barely any fanbase at all. So IBL would be good start then if you really want to step up Japan and China Will be the highest in Asia.
We really appreciate your knowledge! It is so helpful!!
@@Truehoopa21 really appreciate that!

Apply to PBA but it's more tougher basketball than ibl
I wish but that would be tough - especially considering my resume! IBL would be a good start ideally...
