@angeleyesjr9676 sword lock on enemies when the crosshair turns red when you use a long range weapon like sniper or BR or rocket launcher zoom in then quickly and very fast switch to sword and click it launch you to the enemy but you have to do it very very fast it's not that hard but easy to miss

The energy sword is one of the greatest weapons in gaming. Iconic, even going up against other laser swords. Fun to use. And an amazing mobility tool. Has all the makings you need for a legendary symbol in gaming.
This mans just drops WRs left and right, what a god. I wish I could YXR as cleanly as Rocats. Also that was like, the fucking cleanest Regret fight I’ve seen ever, hooooly shit.
@@robosing225 YXR, as it's belovedly known, due to that being the original button combo on the xbox controller. The Halo 2 energy sword is funny because as long as the reticle is red, you can lunge. With scoped or other long range weapons, if you switch (Y) to an energy sword, and press the reload button fast enough (X), you can cancel the animation and the reticle will still be red for a few frames with the energy sword out, allowing you to lunge (R) long distances - aka sword flying.

@@nathanharrison2 what? that has literally never been a rule, if you get the fastest time you get the fastest time go to haloruns and you'll see that most legendary runs have reverts because legendary is inconsistent and random

The regret room took me like 30 min alone to complete because of these plasma elite that would spawn randomly. I could not clear the room and regret a the same time.

Most unexpected place to see a revert with this level. But this was amazing nonetheless. I'm actually most impressed by the fact that you didn't fire rockets at the end of the temple fly. Ballsy as hell though the Ultra elite being htere is nice as well.
are you playing on xbox or pc? I have the MCC on pc and when i turn on new graphics on this level at the gondolas in the beginning my frame rate drops below master chief's ability to resist jackal sniper shots. And i have an RTX 2060. Same for anyone else?
The Regret fight must feel good when he doesn't glitch on mcc I had a few good runs ruined cause he didn't die and one time I knocked him out of his chair at the very end when I speed ran this map before although I know my time wasn't as good....
Waw GG dude, you basically made just one mistake, if you can iron this out, that means this map will only become a matter of micro optimization, or finding new strats somehow. Thats crazy.

Bruh i got frustrated with the gondola part bc i was trying to despawn the enemies and i just started to jump like a r*tard all around the gondola then by the time the gondola you are supposed to ride got close, it spawn all the enemies that should be on the gondola i was standing and it started to move foward even if i didn't kill the enemies... (Also when i was jumping it triggered the Miranda dialog of sending you a pelican with guns). Could you verify this? It is rather odd. Of course i was doing the traditional despawning trick. Which i wouldn't recomend but no way in hell am i getting those crazy sword flights you do.
