I know that what we all listened to was not fact, but I still enjoyed the story. If people don't like what they are listening to, U can always listen to another story. These stories are for entertainment only. I don't believe I ever heard Mr. Marshall saying this was fact. Me myself, I treasure these stories because it brings back a simpler time frame. Thank You to all the men & women for putting these stories out here on UA-cam.

I would also like to add that there are artifacts for many ancient ruins. It just doesn't mean that this particular story was real.

If they did state that the upcoming drama 'happened in real life' to add believability to the story, Mr. Marshall often stated that it happened to friends of his or people he knew and then left it up to the listener to decide for themselves what was fiction and what wasn't.

On the contrary the narrator tells you the parts that are true cuz I looked them up. Many of them are true. But they put their own stories and people to them

That woman should have left her husband in the cave and got the hell out of that country. Her husband was stupid for putting himself and his wife in danger.

I can hardly believe the arrogance, greed, obsession and ignorance the husband, - in his disrespect and continued warnings not to steal sacred artifacts from the burial site of ancestors and gods - showed by his pompous refusal to accept such artifacts are in their final resting place. I know it's fiction but the play demonstrates how his, 'It will be worth a fortune,' of the sacred cross, not only to be rich but also to be famous and the envy of his friends like so many who have pillaged priceless sacred objects throughout the ages. His poor wife. Thank you for uploading. Xxxx ❤

Listened 6/11/2023. Sometimes intelligence and smarts aren’t enough, what’s lacking is wisdom to act upon one’s experiences and surroundings. Stubbornly ignoring all available knowledge, well you do so at your own peril. Interesting story!

It's best to respect the legends, and traditions of others I imagine. This may be fiction, but looting of ancient cultures is a serious matter
Which needs to be resolved even today. Still, very creepy little tale.👍

@@XyzXyz-mm9vq This is the Internet Age and spelling is a thing of the past. There's just enough left of the English language that we can still guess what anyone else is trying to say...for now; eventually anything anyone says will be subject to multiple interpretations and the Karl Rove maxim "we create our own reality" will be literally true. Meanwhile it's still possible to guess what's meant:

Actually Ruby Dee comes immediately to mind...she was in quite a few episodes and she is African American. There were Hispanic actors as well...and I enjoy the fact that the stories appeal to all races. In my opinion the fact that they didn't make a distinction between races seems like a positive thing.
