Great job covering in detail. This is my 2nd Outlander, and coming from the old body style (2019), I needed to learn about the new one. You're covering the 2022 model. I got the 2024, which has the same features, plus a bit more, but basically the same awesome standard and advanced package features you show here. Thanks for taking the time. I'm saving this video as reference. Much appreciated. Liked and subscribed. 😎👍
Hi Steve! I barely have 24 hrs with it and I love how it rides. It feels luxurious, smooth on the road, smoother than the already smooth 2019. Still learning its features, the new muti-aspect dash. Wow! The car is a head-turner. I'll keep you posted. I've become such a big fan of Mitsubishi. My 1st Outlander went 181K until I traded it in for this one. The dealer Svce dept mechanic told me aside from the high mileage, it was like a new car. If we take care of the car, it will take care of us and I'm impressed at how Mitsubishi never left me stuck on the side of the road. So reliable, so smooth to drive, multi-featured, and low-cost maintenance. It's a win-win. I've driven many brands in my life. This one is the best ownership experience overall.
Wow, so brand spanking new! Always great to hear when people find a brand they love and keep coming back to... even better when they take care of their car and see the benefits of doing it. Thanks for the great owner feedback and hope this new ride treats you well
This has the best packaging in it's class, love the looks in and out especially in the cosmic blue color and with the orange and black leather combo, just wished this has the space saver spare wheel and the massaging front seats and the factory black and bronze roof like the Australian version has.
Missed this comment somehow! I do find the styling of the Outlander to be pretty great! Having the spare wheel seems like it's becoming a bit of a luxury for a bunch of brands now unfortunately
@@CarsWithSteve Yes it is. I traded in a 2016 CRV. Was going to buy a 2023 CRV but decided I didn't want a turbo or the STOP/START nonsense so I looked into the Outlander and liked what I saw. Took one for a test drive and bought the SEL Special Edition..... Metallic Grey w/ grey interior
I subscribed after hearing you say oil change and filter change easy not many other reviewers mention these things,, and mentioned U.S. version, so thank you, I'm watching this in 2024 because I rather buy 2 year old from dealership for better value as complete new is too much.
Great to know that people actually appreciate those small details I add in. You'd probably be able to find a great deal on a 2022 model.. and it's the exact same to the new 2024 models too!

Thanks for the full review. Make decide. Between highlander and outlander. Savining money with the tech. Toyota waranty is sting painfull as i have the rav4 limited for few years.
Is that 2.5L from Nissan? I read that the 2.4 is Mitsu exclusive with other Mitsu . Though the 2.5L from nissan has been around for a while if it is based on the original QR25 variant.
You can store them as presets but it doesn't look like the Outlander has support for previously played channels. If you find songs you like you can definitely tag either the song or artist under the SiriusXM menu!
Little bit of an aftermarket hack if you're in North America.. Get one from a 2003-2015 Nissan Murano - same bolt pattern as this. If you take out the tire kit storage tray in the boot the spare would fit perfectly Ideal? Not at all.. But if you like the car it's tough to let the lack of a factory spare be a reason not to look at it
I just bought the 2024 SE version. I have learnt a lot from your review. Thank you. You are the best.
Thanks Julius! How are you liking the Outlander so far?
Thank you for the video. It was very informative.
You're welcome Maria, glad you found it helpful!
Bought my Outlander Limited Edition in the UAE last week. Super helpful video Steve. Kudos 👍🏼
Glad the video helped! How are you liking the Outlander so far?
@@CarsWithSteve We're glad we picked the top variant. The features on it are top notch. Amazing car.
It really is! I was in the PHEV a few weeks ago and really liked it. The fuel economy is fantastic

Best video explaining all features. Thank you.
You're welcome! Have you picked one up or is it on your list?
@@CarsWithSteve I picked this version. Was gonna go for the black edition but the interior is just amazing for what it’s worth.
So true, I'm really surprised at how far Mitsubishi has come along. Enjoy the new ride!
This is good review and is almost the exact spec I would get
Thanks Darren!
Tust purchased the 2023 sel w/touring pk. Thanks for this video. it helped a lot in learning the feature my truck offers. NEW SUB
That's exciting Tony, glad the video has helped you learn a few things! Is it the first time you've owned a Mitsubishi?
Awesome review sir! Most detailed indeed!

Awesomely detailed guidance for the 2022 Mitsubishi. Have you updated your video for the 2023 or 2024 Mitsubishi PHEV Ooutlander Premium ??
Thank you! Haven't had the chance to get into a plugin yet but I'm hoping to before the end of the year
Hi! What models have the rear passenger’s heated seats? Thanks!
Depends on what country you're in and the model year you're looking at

You're welcome! Haven't been in the Highlander yet but it's on the list
Is the "kick" feature standard across all models? Even the base model?
No, I believe it's the SE trim level and up only. The base ES won't have it..
@@CarsWithSteve Ok thanks. I’ll quit kicking!!! lol.
HAHA must have driven you mad. Always find it funny when I try that in my videos and it doesn't work

The PR25DD 2.5-litre engine is shared with the Nissan Rogue.. Part of the whole Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance
Subbed!
Thanks Jacob!
Mitsubishi outlander ❤️

When using Sirius xm, does it record on the top 6 channels.. So you can jump back songs? I know kia does, didn't see option for this in the video.
You can store them as presets but it doesn't look like the Outlander has support for previously played channels. If you find songs you like you can definitely tag either the song or artist under the SiriusXM menu!
If you mean live mode yes you can go back songs. Never gone back 6 so that idk but you can "rewind songs"
Have some Co. Make a spare wheel for this car just plane steel black!!
You should be able to get black steelies for the wheel size. Look at wheels for the 2003-2015 Nissan Murano too - same bolt pattern as this
No spare, no sale
Little bit of an aftermarket hack if you're in North America.. Get one from a 2003-2015 Nissan Murano - same bolt pattern as this. If you take out the tire kit storage tray in the boot the spare would fit perfectly
Ideal? Not at all.. But if you like the car it's tough to let the lack of a factory spare be a reason not to look at it
