    Unlike other videos of Croatia, this one doesn't recommend places to eat other than the most expensive places on sea fronts etc. Also doesn't suggest air B and B which are cheaper and better than hostels.

    • @CORRTravel
      @CORRTravel  Місяць тому

      Thank you very much for your feedback. I would love to know which Split Croatia (specifically) shows extensively places to eat within a travel guide, and links to the AirBnBs that are less expensive than hostels. Providing these links would really help the viewers. We look forward to your input to help provide more Split, Croatia travel information. Thank you in advance!

    Croatians don't read letter c as k, but as c in cent and k as in cat, they never change as pronunciation of Croatian letters is always same. Brač last letter is pronounced as ch in english, same with č in Korčula.

    lived in Split for years, I miss it so much. about visiting months: avoid July and August AT ALL COSTS! main season, too crowded, and way overpriced (accommodation). also, don't be fooled by the average temps, it gets to over 40 C, sea at about 30.
    about tipping: please, definitely tip about 10% (unless service was not good, of course). while it is not as bad as in the US, salaries are really low, and a lot of jobs in hospitality are seasonal, meaning 6 to 7 months per year. on top of that, tourism, the switch to the Euro, the exploding expat community... cost of living is getting higher rapidly, with salaries more or less staying where they have been for years

      You're most welcome!
      You know, I'm not sure about all wheelchair accessible accommodations, but if it helps, I do know Booking.com does have a "Room accessibility" section with many filters within to use to help find you the right accommodation - even in the city center. I hope this helps!

    Hi, did you book tours or ferry trips in advance or on the day? We are heading there early June!

    • @CORRTravel

      I booked my boat trips to islands while there, but in advance. However, I was there in mid-September. Since you'll be there in Peak Season, I would book in advance if you can. Summer months always have more tourists. Have fun!

    • @ariannnaskates8728

      What is the best way to book a boat trip?

    • @CORRTravel
      @CORRTravel  7 місяців тому

      @@ariannnaskates8728 It depends on what boat trip and when you're going. These days, I recommend anyone traveling during peak season to book in advance, especially if the boat trip has designated seating or seating indoors that adds comfort - some travelers may need this.
      I would search online first for all boating options to your destination for pricing and departure/return times to ensure it first meets your schedule. Narrow down which is best. If it's a boating link provided in the video description by myself, start looking now and book in advance for peak season travel - popular excursions tend to sell out. Plus, if it's by Get Your Guide, you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance for full refund.
      If you don't decide to book online in advance, then I would either visit the local office immediately upon arrival to book your boating trip or do it online immediately. Again, if it's popular, it could sell out during peak season (sometimes in shoulder season).

    Serbs did the biggest gnsde in history of Balkans:
    Serbian camps for children during ww2:
    - Rakovica manastir near Belgrade
    Serbian camps for children during the 1990s:
    - Prijedor camp
    - Omarska
    - Trnopolje
    - Kozarac
    over 50.000 bosniak women and children were SYSTEMATICALLY rpd and trtrd in these camps by serbian soliders...and all of eastern bosnia was extmtd by serbs (now republika srpska)...and serbs are proud of these

    Why nobody in the world wants to visit serbia?
    - Whole world knows about serbian genocide on bosniaks, albanians an croats in the 1990s (officialy recognized by UN resolution)

    In restaurants they charge foreigners up to 4 times as much
    There are special priced menius in English 😂
    Normal to low prices for locals which speak the language

    - Croatia is the place of biggest and most monstrous genocide in entire history of Southeastern Europe.
