It's really refreshing to see a musician being interviewed who is elequent and sharp, with lots of interesting stuff to say. Just one point though, the first T.Rex Tribute band I ever saw was a band called 'Laser Love' (actually they might have been called simply 'Laser') back in 1979 (showing my age here) playing a gig at Newcastle Upon Tyne Guildhall. They were all about 14 years old. No idea what happened to them. T.Rextasy are brilliant. Keeping it alive for the fans. Thanks guys.
Used to work for Tesco delivering grub...delivered to his house in Halstead..nearly fell through the floor when he answered the door...my jaw hit the floor.....I thought I'd seen a bloody ghost!!!!
Dino was not a original member, T Rex was Marc Bolan, Micky Finn Bill Legend, Steve Curry. I met Marc a few times when my Dad did some work for his parents, this guy doesn’t look like Marc, he seems to take himself a bit too serious. The real Marc gave me a signed copy of Slider, I still have it and wouldn’t swap it for a gold pig. A while after Marc died I met his parents and they remembered me from years earlier, they were lovely people.
Your the one here who seems to be taking himself too seriously, by getting all serious about him not looking like Marc, I mean, you sound a bit defensive over Marc’s Legacy! Just because your dad did some work for Marc, dosen’t mean your the number 1 Authority on Marc Bolan! Obviously, Danielz is a lot older now but he carries it off well and sounds great on stage, when he was younger, he was really into the groove! You heard what he said about June Child when she seen him performing, Danielz has a really good sound of Marc live and moves like him, T Rextasy are a very tight band too! I’d go see them before Criticising them
changed my mind recently about t.rextasy always thought bit pretentious but would like to see matthew joseph hughes as new frontman as Danielz cant go on forever time to pass on the batton is coming
@@brianduggan1432 My father worked in the music world and spent a lot of time with Bolan. He had been dead 15 years by the time I was born. I will have to check him out.
