I'd say the best idea is to have a large enough spare or quarantine tank and I'm speaking from bitter experience here. I had 3 Oscars in my 450gal SA cichlid community. All was fine for about a year but 2 of them ended up forming a pair and started killing everything else in the tank. In a matter of weeks, I lost the other smaller Oscar, a 7' silver Arowana, and a large parrot cichlid. I didn't have any tanks to put them in so I ended up giving them back to the pet store. And keep uploading Balake hope your channel grows.
very formative, i have 400g tank ( you can see my videos) with community of viejas & other cichlids. my viejas don't bother the small ones but they always bully the big sizes. I also remove hiding spots to reduce territorial aggression in my tank.
Love all your videos dude ... Watching from Fall River Massachusetts USA. Keep on posting , your fish are all so beautiful . I can't even find some of these species lol
I’ve bred nearly 80 species of Central American cichlids over the last 40 years and the problem is it works until it doesn’t. It’s not uncommon for an entire tank to be wiped out at night and we wake up to find the massacred fish.
@@balakesfishroom7651 Thank you. I’m going to start looking for some of those at the Home Depot and Lowe’s. I use the terra-cotta pots but those look a lot nicer.

Convicts need more than just veggies.
