I went to a Dave and busters in Houston when I was a kid, and they had fans like these. I remember being so interested in them for some reason haha
Im trying to find a video about a wind up ceiling fan... Similar to a grandfather clock, it gets wound up, and then it spins for a long time. I saw it online and i think it was restaurant in New Orleans. I think a waitress winds it up. Wondering if there are any commercially made.

As soon as the switch is on, this will sync to the next fan when connected with belt drives.

Can they spin faster? I want to do this on my 40ft long covered deck. I need 3 fans. I need them to rip though because they won't just be for looks. On a hot, still day, they will need to move some serious air.
Faster yes, but not insane. If you really need air movement I'd get some Agri-Fans
It’s awesome but be damned if I’d have it go that slow, I want my ceiling to take off like an out of control homemade helicopter
