Stayed there one time crossing 3rd road is a challenge. Buses full of Chinese tourists. So very nice hotel but I would stay elsewhere because of the location. Thanks for the awesome hotel reviews I think page 10 is the winner in my book so far.
Stayed there for 2 weeks in early January @1000 baht per night. Wifi speed fast @ around 50mbs download. Room was spotlessly cleaned every day. Bed was really comfortable. The shower was excellent with good power and hot water. Staff are lovely and non intrusive
Have booked 9 nights here for mid October on the strength of this video. Searched around and got a cracking deal from Agoda on the 1-bed suite. Really looking forward to visiting. Thanks for the tip-off 👍
I normally stop at Nature View & after watching this video, have just booked, a deluxe room in LK President through Agoda for the end of September for 10 days. Thanks for this.
I first went to Thailand in 89 and I lived in the village on 3rd road. It was just a dirt road and just had the buffaloe bar. Can't believe how much pattaya has changed over the years. This hotel is fantastic. Great video daz
Sawasdee Khrap Daz. You kept your word and I'm very happy you went to visit LK President. we stayed there multiple times from November 2021 till January while a travelled thru Thailand. The breakfast you have to buy downstairs because of the covid regulations that were in place at the time , this place is a gem and the food fresh and delicious. And important , they have a huge private parking under the hotel - 3 floors . Khob khun khrap Daz .
My gosh this video brought back memories. I stayed at this hotel in October 2018 with my Thai girlfriend, sadly this was the last time we were together as a couple. One of the happiest times of my life. Thank you for posting.
That suite is really good. Love the fact it has a bath and a separate shower as well. Over the course of a week or a month I always look for a place with a bath. Not as bother if the showers separate tbh but having a bath is just nice if you need to have a proper a relaxing soak. Good generous size of both the living space and the bedroom as well & with the kitchen it helps if you're looking to keep dining costs down ( to save money for 'other things') as you can make yourself something a few days of the week.
Thanks, Daz! Nice place and amenities for someone staying short term and who wants to be close to Central. Much better values close by for longer stays or those that don't need or want to be that close to the action. The larger places are more attractive while business is recovering. In full swing, waiting for elevators and limited parking can be issues. All depends on what you're looking for.
No way!!!! Couldn’t imagine that LK president will be on your mid priced hotel series. Because it wasn’t mid priced. In 2019 July on my last visit to Pattaya I paid 3300 baht per night including breakfast. This is a great hotel, the breakfast is amazing too. And despite being in bukhao, the walls and glasses are insulated well to keep the outside noise away. Pro tip to anyone who will stay here: Dial 0 on your room’s phone after 8 pm, and let the magic happen. Amazing collection.
As always, thank you Daz for such a nice review ! The hotel's furniture however puts me off to be quite frankly, it doesn't fit my style of serenity and the road crossing could also be an issue after a heavy night out as well as the hight of the hotel floors. I still think that the Eureka Lodge is still the best option so far followed by Page 10, even though the LK president ticks some of the boxes. Well done again, keep it up 👌👌🙏
Another good video, thanks. A question to add would be the speed of WiFi in these hotels, which would probably be important for a lot of your viewers, especially if staying a month or more
Daz, its now 3 months after i saw this video and i made now a reservation for two months in the high season. Its 48000 Baht monthly for the one bedroom suite. Superb price for high season and this size, also very good located! This saves me a lot of money i can spend now otherwise now ;-) If I see you around Im gonna pay you beer or two for the tip :)
It's good to have a question, take the lady back to the hotel for a fee or not。Thank you for your work, very helpful to me who is about to arrive in Pattaya
Great vid as usual. The only drawback in staying there is in trying to cross 3rd road from the Soi Xzyte side. You're taking your life in your hands and the traffic seems oblivious to pedestrians. They need a raised walkway like they have in Bangkok.
Great video. Bring back a lot of memories. have stayed in LK president on my 4 past trips. It is definitely the best value for money hotel. I'm coming to stay here in May as well
Just over 4 years ago I was staying in the S-One guest house on Soi Pothole. Many a time I would look at this impressive building and think that it would be way above my budget. How wrong I was. To put it into perspective, in the UK, the daily price for the de-luxe room will just about (if you're lucky) get you a cramped single bedded room in a pub with shared facilities (toilet and shower) and the price of the 1 bedroom suite wouldn't even pay for a Travel Lodge type room. Apart from Go-Go and Disco establishments, Soi Pothole just across the road has a wide choice of 'entertainment' places. So it's right on the doorstep of the go to area of Pattaya.
Really liked the One Bedroom Suite with the kitchenette. As a vegan, I would really like the option to cook my dinner sometimes. I only eat 2 meals per day. USD monthly = $1,160.21 plus 95 Baht breakfast/day = $84.90 USD/month. Total $1,245.11 USD/month room & breakfast. Maybe add $100 to $200 USD for dinner veggies, then only other costs would be beer and a lady entertainment or a "happy ending" massage a few times / week. (I'm 81 years old.) No need for taxi (Bolt), tuk-tuk, or rental of car or motorbike. Walking for good daily exercise. No worries, no problems, living a life of ease.🥰 Life would be GOOD.😍
Wow - the 1 bedroom is really amazing and something I would love to rent on my next holiday if the prizes stay at that level. Thanks for showing this :)
Yes I normally stay with flipper group soi 7 or 8. This April me and my thai wife stayed here fabulous for 1100 baht for a deluxe room with balcony lovely for the money short walk to lk metro and tree town. Straight over the road from soi pothole. Will stay again.
I considered this place about 2015, and at that time it was new and about THB 1500p/n on a discount website in June so low season. About the same as the relatively nearby Mercure was also about the same price, but I preferred Mercure as nearer to 2nd Road. But this place at the top of Lenke/Pot Hole in 2022 for those prices. Yes. A great option. The quality of the accomodation makes it fantastic value. It just depends on how sensitive you are to location, and/or what location you want.
Thanks a very informative video. I live in soi Bongkot just behind there. Less than 10 minutes I am halfway down pothole. A truly great position. Have you had a look at Soi Bongkot ? Very cheap hotels all the Gentleman's clubs on your door step. At home resort . Expats food stores. A truly great area for tourists and expats alike.
Hey Daz, the information you give us in all your videos is priceless. I'm in pattaya now and staying at the LK and loving it. I've been recommending your channel to anyone who listens. Keep up the good work and thanks again for all the helpful tips and trick in your videos. Peace ✌️😎
Wow that's a great price for a good location. Close enough to the action but just enough distance away that if you want some piece and quite or an early night you can have it. I remember it being built and almost completed last time there and thinking it's going to be pretty expensive to stay there, I guess not?
Great video mate. Excellent place, I m definitely gonna stay there for 7 or 10 days. I ve stayed at many LK but not this one. Will stay at Empress on Beach Rd for two weeks, maybe this one first. The Suite in these hotels is really good. They are actually more liked serviced apartments, does not have that lack of privacy hotel feeling. Those rates are very good value.
Crossing 3rd road is not like people are saying they make it sound like crossing the amazon. On this side is Bongkot 5 and 8 plus Bliss and M club. Great value hope it's still on when I come back in June
I know someone who's stayed at the l k metropole recently, and i wondered why they had the green netting over the signs,?.(but it was very much open) that l k you previewed is fairly new, 5/36y/o,.(actualy opened 2016) it looks very grand and allot more modern than the old l k metro, i liked the outside food idea, but i can see this place with many bus loads of chinese tourists who are due for release from china in october !,. l k is a chinese owned group so i,m guessing they will favour their own hotels, but then again as a long time l k metropole customer, i,ve never seen any ccp tour groups in there thankfully,.cheers daz,.
Very nice Daz we stayed at LK Royal Suite in the Versace Suite 80m2 2 balcony jacuzzi massive kitchen it was fantastic the price now about 2700 baht a night.
LK properties have always given excellent value. Years ago when I first started stopping long term in Pattaya before they had all of these modern places the old LK Mansion at the Central Rd end of Buakhow was my favourite place, with the added benefit of having, what was at the time the excellent and 24 hour Lengkee restaurant right next door. You will go a long way anywhere in the World to find quality you show here for these sort of prices. At least some things in Thailand are still good value.
Where is the action: LK Metro? This is the best Pattaya hotel I have seen reviewed on YT. I love the extra charge for the third person. Excellent video. This channel is fast becoming my favourite Thailand one, let alone Pattaya.
Stopped here a few times and recommended The location is fine with some great places to eat over the road or around the back.. The letdown is the swimming pool which is extremely small for the size of the hotel & is shaded for most of the afternoon..
Thanks for yet another great video. I certainly will stay at this hotel/ in the 1 bedroom studio with the cooking facilities. Q. Does the songtaew baht bus pass by the hotel to go to the beach, Soi Baukeau, ?
Looks nice for the price. I’ve seen other condos you toured on the beach area with beautiful amenities modern buildings. And beautiful grounds. Is cheaper. And beautiful
Staying there in a suite next month for 5 weeks. LKs never let me down. Couldn’t get into my usual place (August Suites) but at least the girls all know where to find you in the president - no directions ever needed!
Great video 👍. I remember nearly booking this hotel about 4 or 5 years ago because it looked quite posh & was cheap. I remember reading the reviews at the time re the Chinese tourists on buses. Also the swimming pool is very small I seen to recall. But I would stay there right now definitely 👍🇹🇭🍻
Nice review, thanks Daz. My only criticism of the place is that for a 29 storey hotel with I don't know how many bedrooms, that swimming pool looks pretty small. By comparison I would prefer Areca as it has two pools and both are bigger than that one at LK President. I would also have some concern about crossing 3rd Road after a few pints
3rd Road is a nightmare to traverse. I pity anyone with any kind of disability like a wonky leg. Actually pattaya is home to quite a few people with gammy legs. Remember one time my buddy and I while sitting in a bar mid-afternoon on beach road decided to play spot the cripple where we'd give marks out of 10 to the assorted examples of challenged ambulation that passed the bar. No wheelchairs were allowed as they had to be walking. Slight limps were given 2 or 3 points etc. but the champ was a poor bloke with 2 artificial legs and an artificial arm who despite these impediments was still able to make his way around the bars. We had to admire his tenacity and get up and go attitude and he didn't let his disability hinder his activities.
I keep saying this....The Low Budget Price Hotel in his Previest Videos are way better than any of these Mid Price Hotels... These Prices are too High....
Ive stayed there befor covid its nice only issues is very popular chinese tourist and up to 6 buses arrive at once so reception can be chaotic and the halls can be loud when they yelling down the hall at there friends. Tbis mainly early evening
I,ve been lucky with those multi bus ccp tour groups, but i stayed at the Topland hotel in phitsanulok and it was rammed with buses, but never saw one chinese person in hotel or anywhere, but i did hear them shouting in the hotel corridors at 5am in the morning, went for breakfast around 9am and they had all gone (thankfully) ships in the night,.
I stayed at both the LK President and the LK The Empress in December, 2021. Three weeks at the President and one week at The Empress. Both ran me about 1000 baht per day. The Empress included breakfast for two every day but no meals included at The President. Of the two, I have to o give a distinct edge to The Empress for several reasons. It is right on Beach Road whereas The President is on Third Road. Everything seems to be located across Third Road and, as a newbie to Pattaya, I found Third Road difficult to cross because it is both busy and a two way road. Beach Road is much easier to cross and the only reason to cross is for or the beach and the walkway. Everything else is on the hotel side of the road. My room at The Empress wad a bit nicer than The President. But, the included breakfast for two is the real game changer. I booked both on Agoda so the pricing is not the same as walking up to the desk. I think that a visit to the LK The Empress would be a good one for your videos.
I still prefer the smaller hotels .not because they're cheaper they just seem to have more personality .this hotel though was really good and well worth consideration .
I'd like to live there and just move around from one room to the other 😝. You've got the whole building to yourself probably. The pool actually looked ok in this vid especially if nobody else is using it 👍🇹🇭😍🍻
Hi, i asked if you could look for family type places, this place looks ok but u didn't show the 2 bed suite, would have good to see it, but I wouldn't stay there it's a bit out of the way we still want walking street, and with family 2 kids we like a big pool, as said before hard Rock pool is hard to beat, but pricey place to stay.....great vids keep em coming ...
A bit of a belated comment. Pattaya was of my radar for a while but it seems certain restrictions may be lifted soon. I have stayed at many different types of accommodation over 14 years of visiting Pattaya. 2 trips ago I stayed at the LK on Diana, Residence I think, it was Ok. For the money, even when I am thinking of going, September, this is spot on, around Au$52/night. You can get a guesthouse etc for maybe 30/night, but 20 bucks extra, I mean that's 2 drinks in Australia and you are getting something so much better. I was a bit concerned by a comment I read on a site that someone was charged 500b for a guest, but your video clearly states first one is free. I'll just get my leave approved, get the flights and book this. Thanks so much, I would never have considered this hotel at all. I have seen it many times, walking onto Third Road from Lenke to that food place. Cheers.
Stayed there one time crossing 3rd road is a challenge. Buses full of Chinese tourists. So very nice hotel but I would stay elsewhere because of the location. Thanks for the awesome hotel reviews I think page 10 is the winner in my book so far.

I've booked for May 2024 for 12 nights, £29 per night. Absolute bargain. Great review as always, thank you.

I'm glad you did this one. It's one I had considered because of its location. I've never seen the inside.

Yes, pls. Can you review this one too pls?
Walk up Rates are Cheaper than if u book in advance????
@@biggiesmall2706 I don’t think so. Usually booking in advance is less. There are always exceptions but usually Agoda will be cheaper.
@@dondahlquist TY very much
I still prefer the smaller hotels .not because they're cheaper they just seem to have more personality .this hotel though was really good and well worth consideration .
07:04 suite and sweet are pronounced the same but spelled differently and have different meanings.
Hi. Thanks for a nice video. Can you check if they have breakfest now and how much it costs pr day ore for one month. Thank you .
looks good
I think we've found a winner!
Interesting vlog... you pay if you come with two guests... so it's fine, i'm too old for this scenario... Thanks again
I'd like to live there and just move around from one room to the other 😝. You've got the whole building to yourself probably. The pool actually looked ok in this vid especially if nobody else is using it 👍🇹🇭😍🍻
One bed suite very good !
They didn't have one to show me, but said it's the same as the 1 bed, just an extra room on one side
Cheers.
Wow! That LK President Hotel is quite something. Opulence at a bargain rate. Here's hoping they can maintain the price during 2024.
Should get an update on Adelphi and see how much the prices has changed since your last video from there one year ago.
Nice place
I just booked 1 bedroom suite for 9900 baht for 5 nights when its songkran, very cheap for the quiality I think
Beautiful
Daz I hope to be here in October about £28 per night standard room it’s still good value I think
Good hotel but when I cross 3rd road to go to soi in the opposite , I find it difficult especially at night
What a bargain for the value and location!
Another great video.
I'm coming in July can you please ask them if you can smoke on the balcony thanks
Yes, you can smoke on the balcony
Things change. That hotel was only for kines before covid. I had friends try to get a room some years ago but they said no only kines.
only what?
@@chandlerbingbong I think he means Chinese
