I'm a big fan of the mid-priced hotels. I'm not a millionaire, but am not on a backpacker budget either. I don't want to waste my couple of weeks' budget on a five star hotel with amenities I'd never use. Alternatively, I'm not interested in flying all that way to Thailand just to save a few dollars by staying in a cheap hotel. When l was younger l tried to save every last dollar. I'm too old to risk having a bad time by choosing a budget hotel. The mid-priced hotels in the 3 videos uploaded in the past couple of days are exactly what l like. I've never heard of these before. I've learned a lot and I'm extremely grateful for the information. As l wrote in a previous comment, l almost always stay at the April Suites (or Flipper Lodge). These hotels in the three recent videos are on-par with amenities and price to my personal favourite April Suites. That's the best compliment I can pay! Thanks again for the great work.
Really well sized, and with beautiful finishings especially in the bathrooms. I could stay there indefinitely in the latter two, living the high life like a king.
Yeah when i was in Pattaya last a friend took me in for a visit and i was impressed . I am still impressed . I liked the double sliding doors on the balcony for sound , great idea . I stayed at this hotel 3 weeks ago... Agree that the entire staff was very friendly. Rooms are large. My only issue was there is no drawer space for clothes and the rooms need more lighting. Overall a very nice place.
If they can get the punters into the suites for B5K, good luck to them. It doesn't hurt seeing them and I can imagine there being a use case for someone who wanted to upgrade and impress somebody for a couple of days. The normal rooms looked good to me but with the characteristic weirdness you see sometimes. What a delightful guide you had.

Stayed Page 10 for several days pre-pandemic, chosen because of great position. Wifi went down for the duration. Vomitted breakfast...I think yogurt was OFF. Nice room with spacious bathroom/bath but insufficient hot water to match. Staff were quite indifferent to any issues. Have stayed at about 7-8 different hotels over several years and this is the only one I wouldn't touch with a barge-pole!!!
Great suggestions again for middies Daz Ive stayed down the other end where the March, May Hotels and April suites are, also liked Sawadee Siam Soi Baukhao
Be good if the Suite Rooms were only 35,000 BHT per month I would be in for sure but the other room is fine of course wish they would put in a 65cm TV then the normal 35 inch small indeed.Great work Daz.
Lovely hotel Daz, the suites were pretty nice. Shame that they didn't have a small 2 burner hot plate though and the TVs seemed to be in a strange position for relaxing viewing. Assume that they get cleaned x3 times a week as well? The lady who showed you around was a great Ambassador for the hotel, charming and engaging - kudos to her. Quite often the staff seem pissed off when taking people on room tours. I laughed out loud when she did your signature mattress push move in the last suite and declared it to be very nice lol.
I have stayed at the Page 10 twice in the past. I will stay there again in the future. Outstanding in every aspect. The staff is top notch, from the bartenders to the cleaning staff. The breakfast is decent, maybe a little overpriced. The rooms are quiet, showers are awesome and the beds truly comfortable. In my opinion, Page 10 is a step up from the Areca or the LK metropole. Rates are good right now. They will go up as tourists come back. I do not consider this a budget hotel. In 2019, I booked a deluxe room on Agoda and paid 2200 baht a night including breakfast. On my first stay back in 2017, I learned that although the hotel is guest friendly (no joiner fee), they would prefer you not walk in with a lady from one of the bars. This is based on the vibe, body language and the frowns I received. I think they would prefer you to use the Love Hotel over on Soi Yamato. I got the message loud and clear. Keep the reviews coming.
I am looking to book a mid priced hotel for May. But I prefer Jomtien to go out and stay in. Will you be including any hotels there in your list? Liked how friendly the guide was. So far I prefer the Areca Lodge to the Page10. The suites at 5,000 baht should really be on your list of expensive hotels.
@@everythingPattaya On Agoda I found on 1 bed condo in the Jomtien Plaza - the curved building on beach corner - opposite the police station for 1,800 baht per night, which I have reserved.
